Santa Claus from plasticine with his own hands. How to mold Santa Claus from plasticine: a step-by-step process. Plasticine snowmen

Better, kinder and more magical Santa Claus than the one you make with your own hands, you will never have under the Christmas tree. And if you still don’t know how to make Santa Claus, then that’s even great! An amazing discovery awaits you.

From polymer clay

To date, this material is the most popular among home craftsmen. Indeed, Santa Claus polymer clay looks better than the real one, and the master class is no more difficult than plasticine modeling.

We will need:

  • polymer clay (red, white and brown);
  • gel, brush;
  • red pastel (powder);
  • thick needle;
  • blade;
  • toothpick.

Work order

  1. Remember your children's plasticine modeling skills and start rolling sausages and balls. You should get two brown balls, flattened at one end, for boots. From red clay, one large ball (torso), two small ones (mittens), two sausages (hands) and a cone-cap.
  2. Mix a large piece of white clay and a small piece of red clay to make the raw material a pale pink hue. Roll up a large ball (head) and a small one (nose). From brown material, make two tiny peas "eyes".
  3. Connect all the parts, lubricating with gel. For better rigidity, put the torso and head on a toothpick. Make a recess for the eyes by pushing wrinkles with a stack. In the same way, make folds on the cap.
  4. Blind a beard, mustache and eyebrows from white clay, make a “hair” texture on them with a needle. Roll up thin long sausages, which will later become a fur trim on a hat and fur coat.
  5. Stick eyebrows, mustaches and beards on your face, and an edge on a fur coat and hat. With a sharpened toothpick or needle, give the fur the proper texture.
  6. Glue a pompom to the hat, small white dots on the pupils and send Santa Claus to bake for 20-30 minutes. After the figurine has cooled, apply red pastel to the cheeks and nose with a brush. Also simply and quickly you may have a snow maiden.

How to bake products from polymer clay, you can see in the video.

Delicious mastic craft

  1. To decorate the New Year's table, you can fashion a delicious Santa Claus from mastic. You will need red, white and black raw materials. The technique is the same as when modeling from plasticine. Roll the body into a cone with a diameter of 20-25 mm at the base and two thin sausages (white and black).
  2. Fashion the sleeves and hands from the mastic. Poke your fingers with a toothpick.
  3. Assemble the torso of Santa Claus. Use plain water as glue. To better hold your hands, pierce the body with ordinary raw pasta and put the parts of the hands on it on both sides. Make a buckle from two squares of mastic.
  4. Sculpt the details of the head. Use stencils and molds.
  5. Collect the head. Cheeks can be dyed with food coloring or beets.
  6. Glue the head to the body.
  7. Delicious handsome grandpa ready to decorate any New Year's table. Also, but with a scythe instead of a beard and with a small nose, a snow maiden is molded.

From salt dough

To sculpt figures from salt dough, instead of plasticine, mothers came up with a long time ago, since any joint work with a child is not complete without testing the material for a tooth.

The whole process of making Santa Claus from salt dough is shown in the photo. It is not much different from crafts made from clay, mastic or plasticine. The only significant difference is that the salt dough material is not as plastic and thin. Raw materials can be dyed with food coloring. And if there is no risk of being eaten, ordinary aniline dye can also be added to the dough.

main character new year holidays We have Santa Claus. It is he who is loved by many children, because he brings gifts. To attract this fairy-tale hero to your home, invite your child to mold Santa Claus according to our master classes with step-by-step photographs.

Craft "Santa Claus"

To sculpt such Santa Claus, we prepared:

  • plasticine red, white and beige colour;
  • a couple of black small beads.

First, we prepare the basis for the future Santa Claus. To do this, we roll 2 balls from red plasticine, which will be slightly different in size.

After that, you need a beige ball. Here a few words should be said about how to make plasticine of this shade. To do this, just mix orange and white plasticine. This blank will be the head of Santa Claus.

Now we connect together 3 balls, placing them vertically, like y.

For the hands of Santa Claus, you will also need blanks in the form of red plasticine balls.

From these balls we make cones and attach them to the sides of the body.

Then we will make a blank for a cap from red plasticine and fix it on the head.

We attach a thin flagellum along the edge of the cap, creating a border. After that we fix the beard. It can be decorated additionally with a toothpick, applying small strokes.

Additionally, for the hands of Santa Claus, you will need to roll up small red balls and attach them.

We roll up thin flagella from white plasticine and decorate the sleeves of Santa Claus with them.

The belt is also made of white plasticine.

From small white balls we make buttons on Santa Claus's fur coat.

Now it remains to make a face. The eyes will be black beads, the nose will be made from a small red ball. Let's not forget about the mustache, which we make from white plasticine. Our Santa Claus, molded from plasticine, is ready.

Traditionally, before the New Year, children make crafts. To perform a volumetric plasticine application, take the following:

  • the canvas itself for drawing - it can be junk cardboard, colored or white paper;
  • red and white plasticine - to reproduce the elegant red coat of the New Year's character;
  • a little pink - to create a ruddy face;
  • a stack and a toothpick - tools for dividing the mass and drawing relief on soft plasticine;
  • blue plasticine crumbs or beads - for the eyes;
  • any bright plasticine - for modeling a bag with gifts;
  • any dark color- for the traditional staff.

How to mold Santa Claus in the form of an application on paper

On a blue or blue background, the red fur coat of Santa Claus with a white edging will look very nice. We suggest you use this color as a background. If you find any cardboard from under any box, then a blue background can be created by sticking a thin layer of plasticine over the entire surface, carefully smearing it with your fingers.

  1. Cut small pieces of plasticine from the red and pink sticks and roll them into balls. The following parts will be preliminarily created: a hem and a torso, two sleeves of a fur coat, a hat made of red plasticine, and a round face made of pink.

  1. From the largest red ball, form a part resembling a bell and attach at the bottom of the sheet, stepping back a little from the edge (you need to leave room for the shoes).

  1. Turn the second largest red ball into a torso - a flat rectangular cake. Stick above the bottom of the fur coat.

  1. Moving even higher, in the upper part of the drawing, stick a round pink detail - the grandfather's head.

  1. Next (at the very top) glue the red blank for the hat.

  1. Between the pink head and the red hat, glue an oblong white piece, cut with a stack to show the edging.

  1. In the central part of the face, attach a wide pink nose, add very small blue eyes, making the pupils with the tip of a toothpick (or use beads). Glue white gray eyebrows over the eyes. Use a toothpick to draw grandfather's wrinkles around the eyes.

  1. Shape the white beard and mustache by layering the plasticine over the lower part of the face and continuing down (on the chest).

  1. Attach your ears. Add a white edging to the fur coat in front in the center and along the bottom of the clothes.

  1. Decorate the belt area with a red cord.

  1. Attach sleeves. To make them, roll the red plasticine into tubes, then attach to the shoulders and press on them, add thin white cuffs.

  1. With the tip of the stack, draw a fur relief on the entire white edging, including on the hat.

  1. Add a mitten and insert a staff into Santa's hand. And on the bottom, glue black tortillas-boots.

  1. On the other side, also glue a mitten and a bag with gifts.

Such wonderful products can also become exhibits at school and kindergarten exhibitions, because they set the New Year mood and allow you to pass the wait. We invite you to mold a funny Santa Claus in the form of a well-known fidget - Minion. Such a bright craft will show off under the tree in New Year, along with cotton Santa Claus. In this lesson, we will combine two ideas - sculpting the most anticipated New Year's character Santa Claus and our favorite cartoon, because all Minions are so funny.

A similar lesson can be practiced with children 6 years of age and older, helping them complete small details. detailed instructions show and explain the process so that it can be done for you. Stock up on plasticine, select the desired shades from it and get to work, and save the rest of the sticks for further creations. So, watch the master class Minion Santa Claus from plasticine do-it-yourself step by step with photo.

Take for modeling a Minion in a Santa Claus costume:

  • yellow plasticine - this color is depicted by the multipliers of all homemade - Minions;
  • red and white plasticine - to create a fur coat for Santa Claus;
  • black - a little for small details;
  • yellow and orange - for New Year's paraphernalia;
  • matches - for the staff and steady legs;
  • stack.

How to mold a funny Santa Claus in the form of a Minion from plasticine with your own hands?

Take plasticine blocks of the desired shade. Work on the formation of each detail should begin with a thorough kneading of the mass in your hands. The denser the plasticine, the more difficult it is to work with it initially, but the stronger the finished product will be.

Roll up a red cylinder - low, but wide. This will be the central blank for the formation of crafts. If we were to sculpt an ordinary Minion, then we would roll up a blue hemisphere for a jumpsuit.

A simple master class for making a Minion Santa Claus.

Attach the yellow ball to the top of the cylinder. Press down on the part to even out the red and yellow plasticine at the junction. Thus, the bald head of the cartoon will turn out. At this stage, you may end up with an inaccurate place where individual elements of different colors join, but in the future this strip will be masked.

Start creating a minion face on yellow plasticine. You don't need a lot of details for this. First, stick two round tablets of white plasticine as eyes.

Next, you need to arrange the frame and temples of the glasses. Roll very thin threads of black plasticine. Make a border of white cakes. Stick also black pupils with white highlights. When the eyes are ready, we will see the appearance of the Minion.

Hide the junction of the red and yellow parts behind a thin white stripe. Drop her down. Turn the white trim into fur on Santa's fur coat.

To make legs, divide the match in half. Form black boots and stick them on one side of each match.

Insert the free ends of the matches into the bottom of the fur coat. Now the figure will be stable.

Warm and knead some more red plasticine in your hands, pull the mass into 2 tubes. These will be the coat sleeves. Attach a white piping to one end of each sleeve.

Connect the sleeves to the body, smoothing the mass.

The face of the Minion should also be modified to turn it into Santa Claus, one red coat will not be enough for us, there should also be a white beard. Make a beard and mustache from cotton wool and glue it to the face.

The details that complete the costume are red mittens and a hat with a white stripe.

Attach the mittens to the sleeves and the hat to the bald head.

As a rule, before the New Year holidays in all children's circles, the main topic is the creation of a variety of winter characters with their own hands. And first of all, children sculpt the main characters of the New Year - this is Santa Claus or Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. In this article, you will learn how to mold Santa Claus from plasticine. You don't need a lot of materials. The main thing is to be patient and imaginative.

The simplest Santa Claus from plasticine

To sculpt the simplest model of everyone's favorite character of the New Year holidays, you will need plasticine in red, white, flesh-colored, black and green. First, make a flesh-colored ball. This will be the base. Then form a cap from the red mass and stick it to the ball. From the black mass, make two small black boots.

Then make fur and a pompom at the cap from white plasticine. Use an old toothbrush to give the desired texture to the fur and pom-pom. Then again blind the beard from white plasticine. To do this, roll up a few small sausages and stick to the face. Take a small piece of flesh-colored mass and make a nose. From two black pieces blind the eyes.

To make Santa Claus from plasticine look more interesting, make him a lollipop. To do this, roll up three sausages in white, green and red. Twist them, bend them into a candy shape and stick them to our character. Now you know how to mold Santa Claus from plasticine simply and quickly!

Santa's hat

If you do not want to sculpt this character as a whole, then you can get by with one cap. If you sculpt from polymer clay, you can make beautiful decoration in the form of earrings.

First, mold a cone from red plasticine. Then roll up the sausage and one ball of white plasticine. Glue the fur and pompom to the cap. Ready!

Santa Claus as an interior decoration

Let's say that sculpting simple figures is boring for you. But you can mold Santa Claus from plasticine and decorate your apartment with it.

Take plasticine of red, flesh, black and white colors. First, blind the skin color base. Highlight a wide nose and leave room for the eyes. Then blind the beard and eyebrows from white plasticine. For a beard, roll up a long sausage and stick it to Santa Claus's face. In the same way, make a mustache and eyebrows. Then make eyes out of two circles of white plasticine. Stick black circles on them. The eyes are ready! Then make fur and a pompom on a cap from white plasticine. Gently use the stack to texture the beard, mustache, eyebrows on the head, and the fur on the hat. To make Santa Claus's cheeks turn rosy, apply red shadows on them. Now you know how to mold Santa Claus with a long beard from plasticine.

Full body figurine

And now let's try to mold Santa Claus from plasticine in full growth. If you do not want to spend a lot of material, then first roll up a ball of foil, which will serve as the basis for Santa Claus. The wad of foil must be very well crushed so that it is dense. Otherwise, you can ruin the figure during the sculpting process.

Wrap a piece of foil with red plasticine. Decide in advance whether Santa Claus will be thin or fat from plasticine. The master class according to which you are now sculpting, although difficult, can be handled by a younger student.

Then make a face and palms out of flesh-colored plasticine and stick them to Santa Claus. Form boots, eyes and a belt from the black mass. Then, from white plasticine, make a belt, fur coats on the sleeves, a beard, fur and a pompom on a cap. Use a stack or toothpick to shape the texture of the coat and beard. Make a plaque on the belt from yellow plasticine. If desired, it can be covered with golden paint.

Simple rules to follow when sculpting

Before molding Santa Claus from plasticine, be sure to wash your hands and wipe the table with a slightly damp cloth. So you will avoid getting dust on the plasticine, and it stands out very much, especially on white. If desired, you can make a plasticine model for papier-mâché. And if you want Santa Claus to be durable, then it is better to mold him from polymer clay. Fantasize! Clothes for Santa Claus do not have to be red, you can take other colors.

New Years is soon! And our children will be very interested in making a toy for the holiday with their own hands. Naturally with our help! Santa Claus is molded from plasticine very simply! Plasticine must be taken highly plastic, it should not be stained and stick to hands. It would also be good to buy plasticine, which, when mixed, gives the desired shades. And so, let's start creating!

To begin with, we need plasticine of 5 colors:

  • blue,
  • red,
  • green,
  • white,
  • beige.

Let's fashion a torso for our Grandfather from a red block of plasticine as shown in photo 2.

From white plasticine we roll up a long "snake" (rope) - this will be the fur on Santa Claus's fur coat.

We wrap the torso-fur coat with our white rope as shown in photo 4.

Separately, we make mittens from blue plasticine. First, we blind two balls and slightly press them with our fingers, giving them the shape of a palm, attach a finger on the side. And from a red block we make two "sausages" also not large in size - these will be the sleeves for Santa Claus's fur coat.

Attach mittens to sleeves. And we got pens!

We connect the handles with the torso of the grandfather and briefly set aside.

Mustache and beard can be made from a white block. We roll up two small balls - this is a mustache and one large one - this is the future beard, stretch them into ovals and flatten them a little. We attach the mustache and beard to the head.

The eyes are two white balls with blue dots inside. A cap is also a ball, only it needs to be kneaded so that it turns out to be a cap or a cup empty inside, and lay a white rope along the edge.

But so that our Santa Claus does not come to us empty-handed, we will fashion a bag with gifts of any color for him, as shown in photo 12.
