How to knit a large pyramid. Master class knitted pyramid

Master class knitted pyramid

Somehow I was asked to knit a children's pyramid, after looking for a diagram on the web, I realized that I didn’t like anything, because the main thing for pyramids on the Internet is a cone-shaped base, but I wanted a classic pyramid with a base - a stick.

Then I decided that I would invent it myself. And at the moment I decided to make this master class on knitting a children's pyramid in order to help other needlewomen who want to crochet a traditional toy, if there are any questions about the description, then I will gladly tell you

threads of iris in all colors of the rainbow (reddish, orange, yellowish, greenish, blue, blue, purple)

scissors and needle

First, let's knit all the rings. Let's start with the lowest purple ring, knit it in the following way (in brackets I indicate how many columns in the row eventually come out):

1 row ch 30 close in a ring

2 row st.b / n, 1 allowance, st.b / n, 1 allowance. (45)

3 row st.b / n, 1 allowance, st.b / n, st.b / n. (66)

4-6 rows st.b / n, st.b / n. (66)

7 row 10 st.b / n, 1 allowance, 10 st.b / n, 1 allowance. (72)

8 row 11 st.b / n, 1 allowance, 11 st.b / n, 1 allowance. (78)

9 row 12 st.b / n, 1 allowance, 12 st.b / n, 1 allowance. (84).

10 row 6 st.b / n, 1 increase, 6 st.b / n, 1 increase. (96)

11 row 7 st.b / n, 1 increase, 7 st.b / n, 1 increase. (108)

12 row 8 st.b / n, 1 increase, 8 st.b / n, 1 increase. (120)

13 row 9 st.b / n, 1 increase, 9 st.b / n, 1 increase. (132)

14 row 10 st.b / n, 1 increase, 10 st.b / n, 1 increase. (144)

15 row 11 st.b / n, 1 increase, 11 st.b / n, 1 increase. (156).

16 row 12 st.b / n, 1 increase, 12 st.b / n, 1 increase. (168)

28 row 12 st.b / n, 1 decrease, 12 st.b / n, 1 decrease. (156)

We knit rows 29-43 like the previous rows, only in reverse order, in other words, from row 15 to row 1, but instead of increases, we make decreases in columns.

In the end, we get this ring

At the end, be sure to leave a long thread, which we will sew the ring after stuffing.

In the same way, we knit all the other rings, only each next ring is reduced by 2 rows with decreases (increase of loops) and by 1 row of st.b / n in the middle of knitting, in other words, in the 2nd ring we knit rows 1-14, 17-26, 30-43 (numbers of the rows from the description above), in other words, in the largest row we will have 144 loops.
In the 3rd ring we knit rows 1-12, 17-25, 32-43, in the largest row there will be 120 loops

So in the smallest 6th ring we will have rows 1-6, 17-22, 37-43.

When all the rings are connected, it is time to fill them with padding polyester, for this, carefully evenly fill the rings in a circle through the existing hole.

Sew the ring with the remaining thread.

Now you need to put all the rings on top of each other and measure their height in order to understand how long we need to make the base. My rings are 15cm high.

We knit the base in the following way:

1 row 6st.b / n connect into a ring

5 row and all subsequent 24 st.b / n

The number of rows depends on the height of the column (I got 70 rows)

The best gift is, of course, a handmade gift. Your child will remember for the rest of his life that there are toys that mommy made for him herself. Or maybe this will be a pleasant occasion to do needlework with older children? Perhaps this will be the first thing that you created with your own hands or you will give this opportunity to your eldest daughter. Either way, these toys are great.

After reading this article, you will be able to knit or sew a pyramid yourself. When you are an artist, nothing limits you in choosing colors, sizes, and materials for your masterpiece.

Crocheted children's pyramid

If you want to knit such a toy, use.

You can decorate the rings in different ways, just be careful with small details that the child can tear off. You can fill each ring with different materials: rustling wrappers, beans, balls, insert rattle elements inside the rings.

To tie such a pyramid, use.

Pyramid “Fruit Salad”

What kid doesn't love fruit? Do you want to learn their names in the game? Then we bring to your attention a knitted pyramid “Fruit Salad” and it.

And you can also sew a pyramid. After all, if you sew, then you have a lot of bright shreds at home!

So, to sew a fabric pyramid with your own hands, you will need:

  • fabric of different (preferably contrasting) colors. Please note that if the fabric is very soft and stretches strongly (for example, knitwear), then in this case you need a lining made of dense fabric (non-woven fabric), which is glued to the part with a hot iron.
  • filler (for example, synthetic winterizer);
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • sewing machine.

The size and number of rings is up to you. Cut out the details, not forgetting the seam allowances. For each ring, you will need two circles + one inner (short) facing + one outer (long) facing. Cut out a core inside each ring.

Stitch the outer (long) facing to both halves of the ring, stitch the ends of the facing. Next, stitch the inner (short) facing to one of the halves of the ring. You need to grind it from the inside only on one side (for one circle), because. otherwise, the ring cannot be turned out. To the second circle, you need to sew the inner facing after turning the ring inside out, manually with a hidden seam. Fill with synthetic winterizer.

Sew all the other rings of the pyramid in the same way.

Depending on the size of the rings of your pyramid, cut out a stick for it. Stitch the side cuts of the part, leaving a hole for eversion. Turn the stick blank inside out, fill it with padding polyester, sew up the left hole. For convenience, you can attach a loop from above (manually or on a sewing machine - when sewing a part of a stick).

The pyramid is ready! Surely this toy will give a lot of positive emotions to your baby!

We will need:

threads of iris in all colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue, purple)

hook number 1.5

synthetic winterizer

scissors and needle

First, we will knit all the rings. Let's start with the lowest purple ring, knit it as follows (I indicate in brackets how many columns in the row are obtained in the end):

1 row ch 30 close in a ring

2 row st.b / n, 1 increase, st.b / n, 1 increase ..... (45)

3 row st.b / n, 1 increase, st.b / n, st.b / n .... (66)

4-6 rows st.b/n, st.b/n.... (66)

7 row 10 st.b / n, 1 increase, 10 st.b / n, 1 increase ... (72)

8 row 11 st.b / n, 1 increase, 11 st.b / n, 1 increase .... (78)

9 row 12 st.b / n, 1 increase, 12 st.b / n, 1 increase .. (84).

10 row 6 st.b / n, 1 increase, 6 st.b / n, 1 increase ... (96)

11 row 7 st.b / n, 1 increase, 7 st.b / n, 1 increase ... (108)

12 row 8 st.b / n, 1 increase, 8 st.b / n, 1 increase .... (120)

13 row 9 st.b / n, 1 increase, 9 st.b / n, 1 increase .... (132)

14 row 10 st.b / n, 1 increase, 10 st.b / n, 1 increase .... (144)

15 row 11 st.b / n, 1 increase, 11 st.b / n, 1 increase ... (156).

16 row 12 st.b / n, 1 increase, 12 st.b / n, 1 increase .... (168)

17-27 rows st.b / n

28 row 12 st.b / n, 1 decrease, 12 st.b / n, 1 decrease ... (156)

29-43 rows we knit like the previous rows, only in the reverse order, that is, from the 15th row to the 1st, only instead of increases we make decreases in the columns.

As a result, we get such a ring

At the end, be sure to leave a long thread, which we will sew the ring after stuffing.

In the same way we knit all the other rings, only each next ring is reduced by 2 rows with decreases (increase of loops) and by 1 row of st.b / n in the middle of knitting, that is, in the second ring we knit rows 1-14, 17-26, 30 -43 (numbers of the rows from the description above), that is, in the largest row we will get 144 loops.
In the 3rd ring we knit rows 1-12, 17-25, 32-43, in the largest row there will be 120 loops

Thus, in the smallest 6th ring, we will have rows 1-6, 17-22, 37-43.

When all the rings are connected, it's time to fill them with padding polyester, for this we carefully evenly fill the rings in a circle through the existing hole.

Sew the ring with the remaining thread.

Now you need to put all the rings on top of each other and measure their height in order to understand how long we need to make the base. My rings are 15cm high.

We knit the base in the following way:

1 row 6st. b / n connect into a ring

2 row 12 st.b / n

3 row 18 st.b / n

4 row 24 st.b/n

5 row and all subsequent 24 st.b / n

The number of rows depends on the height of the column (I got 70 rows)

For the foundation, you need to connect 2 circles:

1 row 6 vp

2 row 12 st.b / n

3 row 18 st.b / n

4 row 24 st.b/n

5 row 30 st.b/n

6 row 36 st.b / n

7 row 42 st.b/n

8 row 48 st.b / n

These 2 circles must be stitched together.

We fill the base stick with synthetic winterizer and sew our circle from below

It remains to tie the tip for our pyramid:

1 row 6 st.b / n connected in a ring

2 row 1 st.b / n, 1 increase, 1 st.b / n, 1 increase ...

3 row 2 st.b / n, 1 increase, 1 st.b / n, 1 increase ....

4 row 3 st.b / n, 1 increase, 3 st.b / n, 1 increase ....

5 row 4 st.b / n, 1 increase, 4 st.b / n, 1 increase ...

.................................................................

21 row 20 st.b / n, 1 increase, 20 st.b / n, 1 increase ...

22-24 rows st.b / n

25 row 1 st.b / n, 1 decrease, 1 st.b / n, 1 decrease ....

26 row 1 st.b / n, 1 decrease, 1 st.b / n, 1 decrease ...

27-34 rows st.b / n

35 row 1 st.b / n, 1 reductions

After the 26th row, it is necessary to fill the cone with synthetic winterizer so that there is room for the base stick inside. Tuck the last rows inside the cone.

So our crocheted pyramid is finished - you can play))))

Designations:

c.p. - air loop

st.b / n - single crochet
increase - 2 single crochet in one column

decrease - 1 single crochet in 2 columns
