On top of that, the scheme published in the magazine did not like its designations at all. I don't like these patterns. Is it true. I personally feel uncomfortable. Some designations in the diagram were incorrect. I had to think through the pattern .. Having drawn a diagram, I started.

The model is quite interesting, but something has not been finalized there. The front neckline is not very convenient for me personally, but I used to feel comfortable when wearing the product. Therefore, such a gate is not for everyone) In the photo in the magazine, the lady in the product is standing behind a bush and there is no way to see the model properly.

First - a description in the magazine, then my own, if it is useful to someone, I will be glad.

Now I will tell you how I knitted.

Yarn Alize Cotton Gold Plus 200m/100gr, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, knitting needles No. 4.5 (according to the description, knitting needles 3.5 are needed - if I knitted with 3.5 needles, I would really get a very dense coat), consumption 680- 690 grams. Color 487. Size 44-46.

We start knitting with sleeves. We collect 65 loops with a cruciform set (rapport 3 times + 2 hem). We knit from the 1st to the 74th row. in the 75th row, first we close 5 loops, then in the 76th row we also first close 5 loops. We also knit the second sleeve. Sleeves are ready. Now you need to reshoot two sleeves for additional knitting needles or fishing line and forget about them for now. By the way, it is better to close these loops in an elastic way, so that later it would be convenient in the armhole area.

Cardigan body. In the description, the elastic is knitted separately, then sewn on. I thought that I didn't want to do it at all. I decided to knit everything together. For the body of the cardigan, we need to dial 10 times the rapport, elastic band and patent edge on both sides. It turns out 3 + 11 + 210 + 11 + 3 = 238 loops. We collect with a cross-shaped set. We knit 3 loops of the patent edge, then 11 loops of the elastic band (we start the elastic band from the front loop) - we also finish 11 loops of the elastic band, the patent edge is 3 loops. So, we knit from the 1st to the 74th row, then we knit from the 25th to the 74th row, then from the 25th to the 75th row. In the 76th row, we begin to close the loops for the armhole. We knit 3 patent, 11 gum, then knit 37 loops, close 12 loops for the armhole, then knit the back 112 (or 114 loops), again close 12 loops for the second armhole, knit 37 loops of the second shelf, 11 loops elastic, 3 patent edge. Close these loops for the armhole in an elastic way.

If you knit according to the description, the pattern didn’t work for me at all, I had to calculate how the pattern would match the pattern.

From this moment we have connected sleeves. It is necessary to re-shoot the sleeves on knitting needles with a cardigan to the places where the armholes were closed.
We start knitting from 201 rows. this row knit shelves, sleeves and back. Between all these details we connect the pattern of scheme B. In scheme B we have 13 loops. let's distribute them. We knit 3 patent, 11 gum, then 31 loops of the shelf according to scheme A, the remaining 6 loops of the shelf go to scheme B, then we knit 7 loops of the sleeve according to scheme B, we knit the remaining loops of the sleeve to the last 7 loops of the sleeve according to scheme A, the last 7 loops of the sleeve we knit according to scheme B, 6 loops of the backrest with scheme A, etc. to the end. Reverse side according to the drawing. Accordingly, we knit the next row as well. 203 row of scheme A, 3 row of scheme B. so until the end of scheme B. In the 211th row on the armhole line, we have 3 loops left. I knitted them together. We get at the expense of scheme B bevel a la raglan.

Recommendation. For large sizes or full arms, pattern B is best knitted through 3 rows to lengthen the armhole line.
Next, we knit the entire cardigan according to the main scheme A, since we knitted the entire scheme B. We knit up to 250 rows. Here it is possible and even necessary! according to the pattern, knit a couple of centimeters for a sprout - that is, in short rows. We don't count them. We count only complete rows. I'll be honest, I'm lazy. And I didn’t make a sprout - nothing is said about it in the description. And it must be done! In the 251st row, we begin to knit an elastic band. To do this, we knit 2 loops together in the cardigan pattern where they were in the pattern to form a 1X1 elastic band. All. we knit an elastic band to the desired collar height. I got 268 rows. In the 269th row, the closing of the gum. Recommendation - do not close the loops elastically - a non-elastic closure is better. The first time I closed the elastic band elastically - I bandaged it.

By the way, in the description they write that we knit 174 and 175 rows. I didn't find any lines like that.
