Crochet flowers for a hat. Crochet small flowers: a bouquet of threads. Crochet flowers step by step

Crocheting is not always the epitome of clothing for the whole family - it is also the creation of comfort in your own home. Each needlewoman at least once thought about knitting artificial flowers - they will always remain bright and airy, but there is no care for them. Moreover, each needlewoman has a lot of leftover yarn, which takes up a lot of space in cabinets and storage boxes. To get rid of leftovers with benefit, you can resort to crocheting a whole bouquet of flowers. The article presents crochet flowers, patterns and descriptions for free.

Crochet roses

Crocheted roses, only at first glance seem difficult to perform. In fact, their knitting turns out to be the simplest and most promising - in a short time, in just a few hours, you can create a whole bouquet. This is also a great opportunity to please loved ones with a bouquet of flowers, especially in winter and on an unplanned visit.

So, for crocheting roses, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • red and green yarn;
  • hook of a suitable number;
  • small diameter wire;
  • double sided tape.

Crocheting roses occurs in the following sequence:

  1. Choose a knitting pattern for a rosebud. Here you can use a simplified knitting pattern in the form of a long strip, which is then twisted and folded into a bud shape. Such knitting requires sewing up the base of the existing bud.
  2. The second option for crocheting a rosebud involves knitting each petal separately - this is not difficult, but painstaking. After knitting the required number of petals, they are simply collected into a bud and tied at the base with wire or thread.
  3. After choosing a pattern pattern, make a bud. Sew the base or tie it with wire. Individual petals are easier to collect on the base - it can already be a wire stem with a cotton or thread tip. The tip should be completely covered with petals.
  4. Next, tie the sepal according to the presented scheme. Of course, now you should use the green thread.
  5. In the same way, using the above diagram, tie the leaves. Beginners do not need to start knitting a whole shoot with leaves - it is enough to knit from 3 to 7 leaves, which depends on the length of the main stem. When knitting leaves, leave the long end of the thread at the base.
  6. If you used the first method of knitting a bud - knitting a strip folded into a bud - insert the wire designed to form the stem into the middle. Put a sepal on the bud and wrap the bud from the bottom with the second piece of wire - this is how you will form the pedicel.
  7. Use double-sided tape - wrap the stem with tape, grabbing the pedicel. As you wind, attach the leaves, capturing their base by 5-7 mm, wrap the stem with a piece of thread from the leaves and also secure with tape.
  8. From the sepal to the end of the stem, carefully and evenly, without leaving gaps, wrap the wire with adhesive tape with green thread.
  9. Similarly, make several roses, arrange them in a bouquet.

In the presented image, several other variations can be made. Some needlewomen prefer to simply put such bouquets in vases. The second wants to make a bush, resorting to using a simple flower pot, having previously installed roses in pieces of foam. Still others crocheted the pots separately so that the composition was completed. The following is a selection of ready-made compositions of different variations and a video with a master class for beginners in knitting.

Knitted peonies

Peonies are knitted similarly to a rose. Here you should also use the diagram below and tie the bud. Next, a pedicel is formed with wire or thread. For knitting leaves, you can use the above pattern. A stem is similarly made of wire and leaves are attached.

Bound peonies often form into a regular bouquet of flowers that look great in a long, narrow glass vase. A master class for knitting peonies is offered in the video.

Knitted daffodils

After crocheting the simplest flowers, you can begin to implement the most complex ones, namely, knitting daffodils. You can knit them in the same sequence as presented above, with the exception of using other patterns and threads.

So, start knitting daffodils in the following sequence:

  1. Start knitting with a whisk - use scheme 1 in the picture below. The color of the corolla can be different - white, yellow, brown or even black.
  2. Attach a yellow or brown thread to the base of the corolla and continue knitting the core, according to scheme 2.
  3. Attach a yellow, orange or white thread to the base of the core for knitting bud petals - use pattern 4.
  4. At the end of knitting the bud, you should attach a green thread to the base and knit the cup according to scheme 3. The cup can also be knitted separately, and then attached to the bud.

Stems and knitting of leaves occurs in the sequence presented earlier. The only difference here is the shape of the leaves - to match them, they are knitted according to the proposed scheme in the picture.

irises

Craftswomen are attracted by knitted irises, which are also formed into bouquets and placed in vases. There are two ways to knit irises.

First way

The first method involves knitting bud petals in a more airy way. Here we use the scheme presented below.

Otherwise, the technique of flower formation is no different from others. So, after the required number of petals are connected, they begin to form a bud - you will need to connect the petals and attach them to the wire, which also acts as a stem. This stem may have a base at the tip - it is either knitted or formed by winding a thread, cotton wool (it should be painted over in diluted paint). Leaves can be knitted according to the pattern that was used for knitting daffodil leaves.

Second way

The second method offers denser petals and "massive" buds, two schemes are used here.

The first scheme is for knitting the lower petals of a bud - the detailed technique is shown in the photo. A schematic interpretation of the proposed knitting is also given - the numbers in the diagram indicate the number of single crochets.

The second pattern is knitting more wavy petals - the upper ones. It also offers complete instructions and a sequence in the photo, as well as a diagram of the number of single crochets for each row.

Both types of petals are collected as shown in the picture, the stem is formed in the same technique as before.

Tie a few irises and put them in a vase - they will look attractive in every interior.

tulips

"Yellow tulips, ooh!" - this phrase and melody arise every time when it comes to these beautiful spring messengers. They can be connected using also 2 ways - simpler or more complex.

The easy way

In a simple way, a tulip bud is a single crochet cup, which is clogged with cotton and sewn up in a certain way. In order not to read the descriptions for a long time, it is enough just to offer photos that seem to be craftswomen - their crochet handicrafts.

A lot of tulips are knitted in a similar way, which are later collected in bouquets - it is better to put them in a basket, because such a composition is a spring sketch.

Second way

The second method involves knitting the bud petals separately. So, for starters, they begin to knit according to the scheme the inner petals in the amount of 3 pieces, the scheme of which is proposed - it also contains symbols.

Next, proceed to knitting individual petals. First you need to tie the petals of the second layer - for this, a cone-shaped shape is used. After knitting 2-3 petals of a more rounded shape - they will be external and final.

All the petals are gathered together on a stem wire. Then they continue to form a flower in the same sequence as the previous flowers - do not forget about the leaves, which can be presented as simple double crochets.

Crocheted flowers are always spring in the house and spring mood in the soul. Create a cozy atmosphere in the room - arrange tied flowers on the windowsill and admire the spring landscape.

If you want to try your hand at crocheting, then you should take on a cute miniature little thing - a flower. A small detail can serve as an excellent decoration for clothes, bags and even shoes. Crocheted crocheted flowers can become a brooch or a hairpin, depending on which clasp to pick up for them. With the help of such an element, it is possible to revive, for example, an automatic hairpin, in which a decorative overlay has been lost. You can crochet a large number of different-sized flowers and make them an interior decoration - panels, napkins, decorative vases for dead wood.

A crochet motif can be made in the shape of the same flower, and from them it will turn out to knit a shawl or cardigan, hat or scarf. It's easy to make this element. Over time, you will crochet more and more complex flowers and find pleasure in it.

How to learn to crochet flowers - patterns for beginners

To begin with, it is worth crocheting a flower according to the simplest pattern. Usually flowers are knitted from the middle. You can start them both with a traditional chain and with an “amigurumi” ring, which came to us from the Japanese art of the same name for knitting toys. This ring helps to make a very small hole in the middle of the flower. Sometimes the flower has “transparent” petals, that is, only their outline is crocheted. This is a schematic representation of a floral ornament. In other versions, the petals are dense, similar to real ones. This realistic image is also easy to crochet.

Here is an example of how a dense flower of six petals is made.

Making an amigurumi ring:

  • we fold the thread with a round loop - a ringlet;
  • we insert a hook into it and drag the working thread through the ring so that a small loop is formed from it, in which the hook should remain;
  • again, we crochet the working thread through a large ring and knit an air loop;
  • then the ring is tied with single crochets.

To get a flower with six petals, you need to connect the number of columns, a multiple of six. For example, eighteen. Next, we begin to knit arcs from air loops. The first arc consists of four air loops. We skip two columns of the previous row and knit a connecting column in the third, from where we start a new arc. On each arc we knit a petal. The beginning of each petal consists of a single crochet, followed by a single crochet and five double crochets. The end of the petal is a double crochet and a single crochet. Further, the flower can be continued in the same way. The length of the arcs will increase, but the number of petals will remain the same.

If you want to achieve greater realism, then you can crochet a flower with arcs of different lengths. Then it will resemble a rose. If the petals are made in columns with two or three crochets, you get another flower - a terry petunia.

A flower with a hollow center knits differently. To begin with, a chain of 8 air loops is dialed. For the second row, three lifting air loops and two loops for the arc are performed. Next - a column with one crochet, then again an arc of two loops and the same column. In total, repeat the arcs with columns 8 times and close the circle. Third row - petals. We knit a connecting column, an air loop, three columns with a crochet, an air loop and a connecting column. We perform 8 times until we complete the circle. For the bottom row of petals, we again make arcs, each consisting of a connecting column and 4 air loops. On these arcs in the next row we form petals, consisting of a connecting column, an air loop, a column with one crochet, three columns with two crochets, another column with a crochet, an air loop and a connecting column.

A flower with hollow petals is even easier to crochet. A ring of 12 air loops is dialed and tied with 32 double crochets. Do not forget about the transition to the columns, consisting of three lifting air loops. Next, we collect 4 lifting loops, a column with 2 crochets, an arc of 5 air loops, we knit three columns with a crochet, retreating one column in the previous row. We knit to the end of the row and finish it with a column with 2 crochets. Next, we make petals on the arcs. To do this, you need to knit one lifting loop, a small bow of 2 air loops, a double crochet, 7 double crochets, one double crochet, two air loops, and a connecting column. With such petals you need to finish the row. Our flower is ready.

You can also use the technique of lush columns to crochet a flower. We collect the same ring of 12 air loops. Next, from the first loop we knit one loop for lifting, a chain of 5 loops, from the next loop we knit three unfinished columns with two crochets, so that 4 loops remain on the hook, which are then knitted together. Next, you need to tie 5 air loops, a single crochet and repeat until the end of the row. Finish the flower with a descent of 5 air loops. Close the row, break off and tighten the thread with a loop.

Video tutorial for beginners

To crochet these cute flowers, you need to master the double crochets, the amigurumi ring and the input of a thread of a different color.

Crochet voluminous flowers - schemes

Crochet voluminous flowers is not difficult. The execution scheme is approximately the same as that of the first flower we disassembled. You just need to arrange the petals in several floors. Then the lower layers will lift the upper ones above them, and the flower will gain volume.

You can also tie flowers that have the shape of a bell:

  • callas;
  • bells;
  • tuberose;
  • petunias or follower.

Tubular elements are initially crocheted in expanded form, then folded into a “gramophone” and sewn together or fixed with connecting posts. To tie them tight, you need to knit only single crochets or half-columns. The calla pestle is knitted separately, also crocheted. To do this, a small chain is knitted, closed into a ring, from which, without adding loops, several rows are knitted in height with single crochets to make the pestle tight.

For pistils and petunias, it is not necessary to knit pistils and stamens: you can simply skip the strings, decorating each with a bead.

Crochet flowers for jewelry, clothes and hats

Crochet flowers are good for decorating a scarf or hat, blouse or cardigan. Even if the product is knitted, factory-made, and not your own knitting, then for it, handmade decorations in the form of a flower or two or three buds may well make it original.

A knitted wallet or purse will look great if it is crowned with a crocheted flower. You can choose one of the proposed schemes to crochet flowers in different colors.

Pansies

Not every flower is symmetrical. We have already learned how to crochet calla lilies that have a single sail-like petal. Now let's try to tie pansies: each flower of this plant has two large petals on top and three smaller ones on the bottom. Large petals of pansies can differ in color from small ones or be the same tone with them. A variety of plant varieties allows you to take liberty in choosing threads.

The middle of the flower is dense and always yellow. We start knitting with yellow threads. Let's make an amigurumi ring with five single crochets. We tighten the ring and make a lifting loop with a yellow thread. We change the color to the shade of small petals, make another loop and knit 6 air loops in the form of an arc. We attach with a connecting column to the next column of the middle. Next, we knit the same column, an arc of 6 loops and continue until the row closes. Next you need to knit the petals. For small petals, each arc is tied with double crochets, for large petals - with double crochets. In this case, you can change the color. Next, large petals are tied with half-columns or single crochets.

You can crochet a beautiful lotus flower. Lotus has pointed petals. The leaves of the flower are rounded, large. For a hollow leaf, you need to dial a chain from the central ring. Without closing it in a circle, tie half-columns along the entire length. Next, we knit three air loops, we knit a double crochet through one half-column. We make the next column with two crochets and knit it, skipping one half-column in the middle. Next, we knit according to the scheme. We tie the edge of the sheet with single crochets.

Petals also need to start knitting from the central circle. A chain is made for the length of the petal. Next, you need to link the columns in which you need to make the number of crochets according to the scheme. After that, a row of single crochets is knitted. Next, the petal must be tied with half-columns, as shown in the figure, changing the color of the thread to a lighter one.

How to crochet a rose

How to crochet a flower so that it boggles the imagination? You need to choose the queen of flowers - a rose as a model. Some authors suggest using not only a crochet, but also glue in order to more tightly connect the various elements of the flower. For example, attach the sepals to the petals of a rose. You can do without it, but just crochet the top of the flower. Next, it’s a good idea to knit a green napkin, from which voluminous roses will “grow”.

Another way is to tie a flower that can stand in a vase. But for this, rigid elements are needed: wire, a plastic or wooden bar or a thin straw for a cocktail - if only this object could be tied. Pay attention to living roses: sometimes their stem is not green at all, but dark red. You can find such threads to crochet the chosen base of the stem.

The scheme and method of knitting

It is better to start such a flower with petals. They can be knitted one at a time by making circles from single crochets. Those that are closer to the middle of the rose should turn out smaller, it is worth knitting a couple more rows on the outer petals so that the circles are larger. Then it will be more convenient to make a rose out of them. It is necessary to connect the petals, starting with the smaller ones and ending with the larger ones, in a chain, crocheting the connecting posts. Next, we twist the chain into a roll, straighten the petals and get the finished rose. So that the flower does not fall apart, we crochet along its lower part, knitting again with connecting posts the places that can part. Instead, you can use a gypsy needle and stitch the bottom of the roll so that it holds well when rolled up.

Green sepals can be separately crocheted to the rose using the lotus petal pattern. Roses naturally have five sepals; let's not break this harmony. The finished five-pointed star with pointed rays must be sewn to the bottom of the rose. The stem for the flower can be made of wire, previously tied with half-columns of green thread. It remains to add leaves, which can also be knitted from the stem or knitted separately and sewn on.

It is better not to make the leaves for a rose hollow, it should be a thick crochet from single crochets. To imitate a natural rose leaf, you will have to tie a few more transition arcs from chains. When they are knitted for a "standing" rose, they should be reinforced with thin copper wire.

Video lessons

Various video tutorials from master knitters will tell you how to crochet this magnificent flower using different tricks. Among the video sequences there are also lessons on how to knit flowers that can be placed in a vase, and how to make a single flower on a napkin or collect a whole bouquet of amazing roses. It is worth stocking up on green threads, because you will have to knit leaves for any flower. Petals can be white, yellow, red, pink, lilac, cream and other natural shades that the queen of flowers possesses. If you decide to create a fantasy rose, then such a flower can be blue, blue, deep purple, and even aqua or turquoise. But black roses are found in nature, but in fact their color is maroon. Try to find threads of this shade!

Knitted flower rose bud

Rose is the queen of flowers. This is probably why there are many different variations on the theme of knitted roses, not only crocheted but also knitted. Our flower collection contains the most roses. Here is another description of how to tie a rose in a bud. A chic brooch can be made from a single flower or bouquet.

Knitting skills allow craftswomen to create exclusive garments. Needlewomen with little experience, who still find it difficult to master the execution of a large product, can hone their skills on accessories that are easy to perform. Crocheting flowers for beginners is an opportunity to create bright accents that give individuality to the image.

Symbols in the diagrams

Typically, the following symbols are used:

  • air loop (vp) is indicated as a small circle or oval;
  • a simple single crochet (st. b. n.) - like "+";
  • double crochet (st. n.) - a vertical line with a horizontal or oblique stroke;
  • at the end of the row there is a connecting column (connection), in the diagrams it looks like a dot.

flower with eight petals

A simple, but at the same time very pretty flower, you can decorate a baby hat or attach it to a hairpin.

Learn how to crochet a flower step by step. For beginners, we will describe the work:

  1. In a circle from 10 c. p. we knit 23 double crochets, three lifting loops are first needed, and at the end - conn. Art.
  2. The second row consists of 8 arches. They, in turn, consist of 3 air and a single crochet, knitted from every third loop.
  3. To begin with, we will perform 3 lifting c. n. and from the first arch we knit the basis for the petal. It consists of 2 double crochet stitches, an air loop, again 2 stitches. There should be eight arches.
  4. In the fourth row we make petals: under the first air loop we make 7 tbsp. from n. The flower is ready.

Flower with convex petals

It may seem difficult for needlewomen to perform drawings only according to the description. For many, circular crochet flowers are unusual. For beginners, the diagrams will be a good clue. So, a pretty, small-sized flower with convex petals is knitted in this way:

flower with long petals

Crocheting flowers for beginners is an activity that allows you to create cute and unique things. For example, a flower with long petals. Let's analyze its scheme:

embossed flower

We do not stop there and continue to master crocheting flowers for beginners. Let's do a more difficult task, but, of course, interesting. For example, a relief flower. It looks very impressive due to the three rows of petals. In order for the diagram below to become more understandable, we add a description of the work to it:

  1. We knit the base of the flower - 5 air loops, then a chain of 6 in. n. (three for lifting). In a circle, perform: a double crochet, followed by 3 in. n. Repeat five times. Thus, it turned out six arches for the smallest petals.
  2. Let's start with the 2nd century. n., then follow 4 single crochet stitches under the chain from c. n., repeat 2 c. n. Then it is necessary to knit a single crochet, but we insert the hook under the column of the first row. That is, you get a relief column, and the petals become convex.
  3. In the fourth row, you need to make arches for larger petals. There should be six of them. Please note that they should be located between the petals of the first row, behind them. So, we perform 3 air loops and a double crochet under the first arch.
  4. In the fifth row we knit the petals: 2 c. n., then 6 tbsp. s n., then 2 air and relief columns.
  5. For the last row of petals, we make arches of 10 air ones similarly to the previous ones. The base of the arch is knitted between the six columns of the previous petal.
  6. The last row of petals: 2 air, followed by 2 regular art. with n., then 4 high columns (two crochets), then repeat the columns and loops again. On both sides, the petal should be limited to relief columns.

Hobbies are a great way to take your mind off worries and have a good time, especially if you master such a skill as crocheting flowers. For beginners, this is an opportunity to fill your hand and acquire a skill that will come in handy in future work.
