Knitted dachshunds: crochet toy patterns. Crochet dachshund with a description and a diagram: an original toy that will not leave anyone indifferent. Dachshund dog crochet pattern for beginners

Dogs have already become practically members of our families. 2018 will be marked by these animals. Therefore, I propose to crochet a funny and bright dachshund!

Such a toy will make an interesting rattle if you use containers filled with beads or cereals as the basis for the body.

For knitting we need:

  • Yarn of gray, white and brown, as well as yarn of any other colors;
  • Hook;
  • Needle;
  • Sintepon;
  • Pair of black beads.

Dachshund starts from spout, so take brown yarn. We will form a ring of 6 loops. That is, we make a sliding loop and knit 6 stbn into it.
We tighten the ring and knit 1 row, adding every 2 loops.
Photo 1

We will have 8 loops. Then we will complete 2 rows of 8 stbn in each of them. The spout is tied, we move on to knitting the muzzle. We knit it with a gray thread or any other. We join and knit 1 column in each loop.
Next, we will gradually expand muzzle. Therefore, we knit with an increase through the loop, and we will knit the next row without increases.
Photo 2

Next, we will knit, alternating rows with and without increments. Increasing each time we shift by 1 loop. That is, if in the previous incremental row we added after 1 loop, then in the new row with an increase we will add every 2 loops. Then we knit a row without additions.
Next, we add after 3 loops and again a row without increments. The number of such rows depends on the desired size of the dachshund. In this case, only 14 rows are knitted. Of these, 7 are surplus and 7 rows are without increments.
Photo 3

Further you will decrease to round the part and form head. But first, the part must be filled with padding polyester.
We will knit decreasing rows in a row. There will be no rows between them without reductions. First, we knit a decrease every 4 loops. And in the new row we decrease after 3 loops. Then we knit with a decrease through 1 loop. And finally, decrease in each loop.
Photo 4

Dachshund body will be in 5 parts. 2 identical gray parts and 3 multi-colored circles in the center.
Let's knit the gray parts first. Again we will knit using the amigurumi method. In a sliding loop we knit 6 stbn. Then increase to 12 by knitting 2 columns in each loop.
Then we knit a row with an increase through 1 loop. Further with an increase through 2 loops. We get 24 loops. If the dachshund is larger, then you need to knit the required number of additional rows. Increases on the principle of amigurumi in each row are shifted to the loop. For a dachshund of this size, 24 loops are enough.
We knit the next 8-10 rows without additions.
Photo 5

We fill the part with filler for toys.
And we begin to round the detail. We perform 3 rows with decreases in a row. We decrease through 2 loops. Then after 1. Further, you need to make a decrease in each loop.
Photo 6

We knit 1 more of the same detail.
Photo 7

Now we knit ears. Again we knit in a sliding loop 6 stbn. Increase to 12 1 side by side. And knit 1 more row with an increase. Now through 1 loop. If the ear needs a larger size, then we knit more rows with increments.
Now you need to complete 7 rows without adding. We start making adjustments. First through 1 loop. And then again a row, without subtracting. We knit decreases in each existing loop. And again we knit 1 row without reductions.
You need 2 of these items.
Photo 8

Now we will knit the paws. All 4 parts are knitted in the same pattern. Again a ring of 6 columns. Increase to 12. Knit 3 rows.
Photo 9

We start knitting tail. We also start knitting with a sliding loop, but now we knit into it not 6, but 5 stbn.
Next, knit 1 row without changes.
In a new row, we add through 1 loop so that the part increases gradually. And we knit 1 row without increments. We add again, but now through 2 loops. And we knit 2 rows without increments.
Photo 10

Now you need to knit 2 blue circles. Let's make a ring again from 6 stbn. Then we work 1 row, doubling each loop. Then through 1 stbn of the bottom row and through 2 columns.
At the end you get 24 columns.
Photo 11

We knit 2 more pairs of the same circles. 1 pair is orange and the other is pink. We sew them stbn. You can also sew with a needle. Do not forget to lightly stuff the parts with filler.
Photo 12

We pass a gray thread through the center of each part.
Photo 13

Sew 2 paws to each gray part of the body.
Then we sew the center to them. We tighten the thread well so that the toy is dense.
Photo 14

We embroider a mouth. We knit eyes. From white yarn we make a ring of 5 stbn. You need 2 such details. We sew 1 beads to them.
Sew the eyes in place. Sew on the ears right away.
Photo 15

Don't forget to sew on the ponytail.
Here is such a bright dachshund turned out!

It is no longer possible to surprise anyone with a tied hedgehog or bear; dogs are knitted much less often. Consider a master class on how to crochet a dachshund in a step-by-step selection with a description and a diagram.

We knit a toy-decoration Dachshund crochet with a description and a diagram

To knit such a craft, you will need Iris threads in two colors: brown and black (for decorating the collar and nose). Thin hook No. 1-No. 1.5, wire, filler (synthetic winterizer or holofiber), magnetic fastener and beads for the eyes.

  1. For the ears, you need to tie two identical parts. The ear is knitted in the main color in rotary rows. The beginning is five air loops, we turn the knitting. We make a lifting loop and knit four single crochets. Turn again. Another one of the same row. In the third row, you need to increase at the end of the row by knitting two single crochets. Then a row without changes. In the fifth row, an increase is again made at the end of the row above the previous one. The sixth row is knitted “loop to loop”, in the seventh row the increase is made immediately after the lifting loop and at the end of the row. The eighth row is unchanged.
  2. Knitting the head begins in the same way as the body. Increases are made with the same rhythm. In the fourth row, the increase should be performed in every third loop, the fifth and sixth rows are knitted without changes. Starting from the seventh row, it is necessary to stuff the part with filler. In the seventh row, evenly 6 single crochets should be reduced. Further, up to the fourteenth row including, knitting moves without changes. In the fifteenth row, you need to make six more decreases so that 12 loops remain in work. From the sixteenth to the nineteenth rows we knit without changes.
  3. In the penultimate row to the tail, it is necessary to make decreases, knitting together every second and third columns. In the next row, we halve the number of loops, 6 single crochets should remain in the work.
  4. Knitting of the body begins with an amigurumi ring, into which 6 single crochets are knitted. In the next row, the number of columns should be doubled; in the third row, the increase goes to every second loop. Next, we continue knitting without changes to the desired length, which is equal to the girth of the arm, from which you want to subtract the length of the tail. This value is subtracted because it is also part of the length of the bracelet.
  5. After a few centimeters have been knitted without increments, you need to insert the wire and start stuffing the product with filler, which we report as the length grows.
  6. After decreasing, we knit approximately 4-5 cm without changes, this will be the tail of the dog. At the end of knitting, you need to twist the wire with a loop so that it does not crawl out of the product, after which we sew up the edge of the tail.
  7. Stuff one last time with filler and cut six more loops in the twentieth row. Then change the thread to black. And sheathe the nose with a needle in a circle, thereby closing the last not knitted columns.
  8. In the ninth row, you need to skip one loop and knit seven columns without a crochet, knit the tenth without reductions. In the eleventh row, skip the loop again and knit six single crochets. In the twelfth row, tie five columns and one more connecting. Knit the thirteenth row according to the pattern, in the fourteenth and fifteenth you need to skip the first loops, and knit the rest without changes. In the sixteenth row, knit 2 single crochets, then tie the entire piece with a row of single crochets. If a thin wire is inserted during tying, then the ears can be given a variety of shapes.

When knitting a neck, you can immediately arrange a collar. To do this, knit the part in black. The beginning is an amigurumi ring, into which six single crochets are knitted, in the second row, increases are made in each loop. The third row must be done behind the back wall of the loop without changing the number. The fourth and fifth rows are also knitted without changes. Fill with filler.

The paws knit even easier. It is necessary to knit six single crochets into the amigurumi ring with the main color, and then knit thirty-six single crochets in a spiral, and then stuff.

When all the details are ready, you need to sew ears, eyes and embroider a mouth to the head. Then sew the legs and neck to the body. After that, the head is attached to the neck. A magnetic button should be attached to the ends of the product. If this is not in the store, then you can purchase a different type of fasteners. Bracelet ready:

Knitted toys can be very picturesque, which pleases both craftswomen and buyers.

To knit this dachshund, you will need yarn of different colors. The thicker the thread is taken, the more the product will eventually turn out. The head is knitted in the shape of a slightly twisted pear, the nose is knitted with a ball and sewn separately. The eyes are a multi-layered detail consisting of flat circles.

To decorate the body, you will need to knit the desired number of color pairs. For their knitting, a standard circle pattern is used. Then they are assembled in pairs, forming hollow parts that are sewn together.

Cute crochet dogs in all possible shapes, sizes and colors can be a great gift. They will please adults as a thematic present, becoming an original part of the interior, and knitted dogs will be a bright, beautiful and safe toy for children.

The options for crocheted dogs are many and varied, ranging in size from miniature amigurumi to full-sized toys, from puppies of certain breeds, to fantasy images. You can create lying and sitting dogs, or anthropomorphic dogs dressed in exclusive outfits. Whatever toy is conceived in the end, the general rules for creating, the set of necessary materials and tools will always be approximately the same.

What is needed for knitting a dog

Before you start crocheting a dog, you should prepare everything you need that may come in handy in your work:

  • yarn;
  • hook;
  • filler;
  • needle;
  • scissors;
  • elements for decorating the product.

You can use any yarn for knitting a dog, but cotton threads are best, especially if the toy is intended for a child. The hook should be selected according to the thickness of the thread, it would be nice to take a size smaller hook, then the knitting will be tight enough, this will help the toy keep its shape and prevent the filler from crawling out through the loops.

A synthetic winterizer or holofiber is well suited as a filler, which, unlike cotton, will not clump and make the product soft and pleasant to the touch. Dog eyes can be made from buttons, knitted, embroidered or purchased. If the creative idea involves the manufacture of a costume or its elements, then you need to consider that it must be knitted from thinner threads than the toy itself. Pieces of felt, leather or any other materials can be used to decorate the product, depending on the concept.

How to crochet a bulldog dog

Undoubtedly, all craftswomen love to please their loved ones with homemade knitted toys for the New Year: either dragons, or horses, or roosters, snakes ... The next year is dedicated to the dog, which means that the crocheted dachshund will be a great addition to this wonderful winter holiday.

mi amigurumi

Our crochet dachshund dog will be crocheted in a very interesting style - amigurumi. This is a Japanese trend in needlework, when all the toys are cute, with rounded features and simplified graphics.

Our dog is no exception: due to the fact that we have chosen this particular breed, it will be very easy to style it in the Japanese amigurumi style. In addition, given its small size, the toy will look very cute and will fit even in the smallest gift box.

Unfamiliar signs

To crochet a dachshund, you need to know some abbreviations that are often used in knitting fan circles. Of course, if you are a skilled craftswoman, then you are unlikely to need this information, so feel free to skip this item and proceed to the next one.

But if your knitting career is only at the very beginning of the journey, then you should not neglect this point, which can be very useful.

  • RLS - single crochet. This is the main knitting method in all amigurumi toys, because in this way the loops are obtained tightly to each other, so that the fabric comes out whole.
  • SSN - reverse RLS, double crochet.
  • PB - increase.
  • UB - reduction.

All you need

Now that we have figured out the notation, we can discuss all the materials from which we crochet a dachshund. Everything you find on this list, you can find at any art or craft store.

In addition, you should not take the listed materials too seriously, since a crocheted dachshund can consist of absolutely any materials that you do not have to buy, but can be found at home.

  • Yarn. We will use several colors to make the toy more colorful and festive. So, we will prepare a dark color for the nose and ears of the dog, use the other main color for the head, body, legs and tail. We will also take small colored yarn scraps to create stripes on the body of the toy. There are also no restrictions on the composition, so rely on your preferences and the desired result.
  • Filler. It should also be chosen based on personal preferences. We will opt for an ordinary synthetic winterizer, because it is not only very light, but also keeps its shape perfectly.
  • Eyes. You can buy them at the store or use buttons, dark-colored beads found at home.
  • And of course, a hook matched to your thread thickness.

Dachshund crochet: description

We will start knitting from the head of the dog, namely from the nose: we will make an amigurumi ring from the darkest yarn and knit 6 single crochets into it. In the second row, we begin to make an increase (PB) every second loop, as a result, we get 18 single crochets.

Then we make a decrease (UB) every third loop and get 12 single crochets. In the next row, we again decrease every third column, at the end of the row we have 9 loops. At this stage, the knitting of the nose ends, and the head of the toy begins, already knitted with yarn of the main color.

In the fifth row we make an increase (PB) every third loop and get 12, in the next every fourth loop and get 15 single crochets. We simply knit the seventh row, without performing any actions with single crochets. Then we continue like this:

  • 4 (SBN), (PB) ... = 18 (SBN).
  • 18 (SBN).
  • 5 (SBN), (PB) ... = 21 (SBN).
  • 21 (SBN).
  • 6 (SBN), (PB) ... = 24 (SBN).
  • ... (do not forget to insert or sew eyes).
  • 9 (SBN), (PB) ... = 33 (SBN).
  • 19-23 rows: 33 (SC).

Now we begin to decrease every tenth single crochet, and in the next row every fourth. As a result, we get 24 loops and do not forget to fill the head with filler, carefully distributing it inside.

After stuffing, we continue knitting, making a decrease (UB) every third loop, and then every second. At the end of the row, we get 12 loops, which we decrease by making cuts in each loop (total at the end of 6 single crochets).

infinite body

A crocheted dachshund will never look like itself unless you give it a long body, thanks to which it has become so recognizable.

  1. Again we make an amigurumi ring and 6 columns into it.
  2. Now we begin to make increases (PB) in each loop, after which we get 12 single crochets.
  3. Now we add loops every second column = 18 columns without a crochet.
  4. Every third = 24 (SC), and then we simply knit all the resulting single crochets with the next row.
  5. Again we increase the number of loops in every fourth loop = 30 (SC) and again we knit all of them in the next row.
  6. 4 (SC), (PB) ...= 36 (SC).
  7. Rows 9-11: 36 single crochets.
  8. 10 (SBN), (UB) ...= 33 (SBN).
  9. 13-14 rows: 33 single crochet.
  10. 9 (SBN), (UB) ...= 30 (SBN).
  11. 16-17 rows: 30 single crochet.
  12. 8 (SBN), (UB) ...= 27 (SBN).
  13. 19-32 rows: 27 single crochet.
  14. 7 (SBN), (UB) ...= 24 (SBN).
  15. We fill the body with filler, carefully distributing it over the entire surface and removing lumps.
  16. 2 single crochet, (UB)...= 18 single crochet.
  17. 1 single crochet, (UB)...= 12 single crochet.
  18. We fill the body to the end and decrease the remaining loops 6 times.
