Hello! The days go by faster and faster! New Year is coming. For needlewomen, now is the time to prepare gifts with your own hands. I hope that you will find my new master class on knitting New Year's slippers-socks with an ornament and a snowflake with your own hands useful. We knit on two needles.

Blue socks are made almost the same as burgundy ones. You will need knitting needles No. 2.5, No. 3.5, knitting threads burgundy and white 100g.

Schemes: Christmas trees, ornaments with snowflakes and large snowflakes.

Start knitting: I collect 43 loops and start knitting slippers with a white thread (in 2 threads) with an elastic band 1 × 1 (I remove the front loop without knitting, the thread at work, 1 wrong loop).

Needles number 2.5. so I knit 6 rows.

On the 7th front row, I switch to thick knitting needles and knit 1 row with a white thread with front loops.

8 row - I knit with purl loops with a burgundy thread.

9 row - (front side of the work) I begin to knit a strip of ornament according to the scheme. I knit the front row with white thread.

10 row - (wrong side of the work) I start knitting the first row of the ornament: 1 purl white, 1 burgundy purl loop (1 × 1).

11 row - (front side of the work) - * 3 front loops are white, 3 front loops are burgundy * (3 × 3) (according to the figure, see the diagram).

12 row - (wrong side of the work) * 1 purl white, 2 purl burgundy loops, 1 purl white * to the end of the row (according to the figure, see the diagram).

13 row - (front side of the work) * 3 front loops are white, 3 front loops are burgundy * (3 × 3) (according to the figure, see the diagram).

14 row - (wrong side of the work): * 1 wrong side white, 1 wrong loop burgundy * (1 × 1).

15 row - (front side of the work) the whole row, all front loops are white.

16 row - (wrong side of the work) all purl loops are burgundy.

17 row - (front side of the work) the whole row, all front loops are white.

18 row - (wrong side of the work): * 1 wrong side white, 1 wrong loop burgundy * (1 × 1).

19 row - (front side of the work): * 1 front loop white, 1 front loop burgundy * (1 × 1)

20 row - (wrong side of the work): * 1 wrong side white, 1 wrong loop burgundy * (1 × 1)

21 row - (front side of the work) the whole row, all front loops are white.

22 row - (wrong side of the work) all purl loops are burgundy.

23 row - (right side of the work) the whole row, all facial loops are white.

24 row - (wrong side of the work) all purl loops are white.

25 row - (right side of the work) the whole row, all facial loops are burgundy. I divide all the loops into 3 parts.

43 loops: 3 parts = 13 loops + 17 loops + 13 loops. I put on pins for 13 extreme loops and knit only the middle part - the tongue, knitting it on 17 loops.

On 17 loops I knit the tongue for 6 rows of stocking knitting (1 front row, 1 purl row). And then I knit snowflake to a height of 13 rows according to the scheme. 4 more rows after the snowflake in stocking stitch (1 row front, 1 row purl). We put the loops on a spare knitting needle. Then I pick up loops along the edge of the tongue and knit one row on all loops. In total, it turns out 68 loops on which I knit 3 rows of facial loops .

On the 4th front row, I begin to decrease the loops (- 4 loops). I knit 2 loops together from 2 edges at the heel (- 2 loops), and also knit 2 loops together on each side of the central loop at the toe of the toe (- 2 loops). 5 row I knit without changing the front loops. 6 row facial loops (-4 loops). 7 row all front loops (we knit together only the center -2 loops). In the 8th row, 9th row and 10th row I knit 58 loops with facial loops. In the 11th row I close all 58 loops at the same time.

You will need:

- red yarn (100 g);

- white yarn (50 g);

- gray yarn (50 g);

- hook number 6.

Product elements:

- main part - 2 parts;

- pompom - 4 parts (2 pompoms from white yarn, 2 from red).

Description of work

Knitting start with a toe.

Execution of the main part

A chain of 3 air loops connected with a white thread, close into a ring using 1 connecting column in the 1st air loop.

In the 1st row, perform 5 single crochets. Connect the beginning and end of the row with a connecting post.

On the 2nd row, work 2 single crochets in each loop of the previous row (10 loops in total).

In the 3rd row, work 1 single crochet in the 1st loop of the previous row and 2 single crochet in the next loop. Repeat this combination until the end of the row (15 loops in total).

Knit 4-6th row with single crochets in each loop of the previous row.

On the 7th row, work 2 single crochet stitches in the first 5 stitches of the previous row. Continue knitting in a circle with single crochets in each loop of the previous row.

At a height of 7 cm, change the thread to gray.

Continue in single crochet in each st of previous row until piece measures 10 cm.

At a height of 22 cm, knit in straight rows to finish, fold both sides together. Run the back seam, connecting the edges of 1 with a row of connecting posts.

Cut the thread and fasten off.

Next, knit with a red thread in a circle with single crochets along the upper edge of the product, starting from the center front line. Continue to work single crochet with red thread in each loop of the previous row until a height of about 5 cm.

Then continue knitting in straight rows only on half of the loops (from the middle of the front to the middle of the heel). In each row, decrease as follows: at the beginning of the row, knit 1 air loop, skip the 1st single crochet, knit single crochets in each loop of the previous row to the end of the row, do not knit the last single crochet. Knit in this way until there are 2 single crochets left in the row.

Cut the thread and fasten off.

The second product is knitted in the same way as the first, but the “cap” is made on the other side.

Making pom-poms

Make 8 pompoms with a diameter of about 4 cm (6 red and 2 white).

Product assembly

Sew white pom-poms to the ends of the "caps".
