Hello again, dear friends!

For a long time I did not publish articles on my blog at intervals of 2-3 days. What will happen when it ends?

Apparently, I will shout the guard, since such a rhythm will simply not be possible to withstand, at least for me.

Okay, what will be, will be ... In the meantime, I present to you the ninth contestant! This is Olga Fokina from the urban-type settlement of Kuleshovka, Rostov Region.

Olga tied herself not only scarf-collar spokes, but also mitts in addition!

Here is what Olga writes:

“I am from a small town, more precisely an urban-type settlement in the Azov district of the Rostov region - Kuleshovka (the name, by the way, is very famous and popular), there is such a river in the Primorsky Territory of Russia, and many other settlements of the same name in Russia, as well as Belarus and Ukraine ….

This is my first scarf-pipe, snood or scarf-collar (everyone calls it differently) and the first mitts!

How did you decide to connect? I just wanted to have this fashion accessory in my wardrobe, especially since the season is right ...

Among the photos there is also a pattern scheme used.

used yarn ALIZE LANAGOLD, 49% wool, 51% acrylic, 240m/100g, color 200, knitted with needles number 4.

The scarf-collar stretches well both in length and in width. In an unstretched, double-folded form, the height of the snood is 35 cm, the width is 33 cm (i.e., the circumference is 66 cm).

Rapport 10 loops ... I get - 12 rapports - that means 120 loops (you can round ... you can also on 2 knitting needles, like me (well, I don’t have circular needles number 4), then sew ... it means + 2 edging total 122 loops dialed ).

Elastic band 3 x 3 - 10 rows in height - 3 cm at the top and bottom.

To tighten (gather) the scarf-collar, I knitted a simple strip with an elastic band 1 x 1 of a rectangular shape of 34 loops wide and 20 rows high with a hole for a button (somewhere around the 5th row, closing 2 loops, and in the next row above these loops - 2 nakida), that's all!

For mitt I used the snood pattern, slightly correcting it, in order to use the rapport only four times - on 4 knitting needles, adding facial loops between the rapports.

I did it for my arm circumference at the elbow (mittens up to the elbow itself) - 3 front loops + rapport of 10 loops + 3 front loops, i.e. on each knitting needle - 16 loops, total 64 in total.

Naturally, at first I started with an elastic band 1 x 1, knitting 4 centimeters (15 rows turned out) and finished with an elastic band 1 x 1, also 4 centimeters.

I used stocking needles number 3 (the pattern is slightly denser than snood).

In the place where there will be a cut for the finger, knit with a colored thread. Return the loops to the left needle and knit them with the main thread. After weaving the colored thread, pick up the open loops on the knitting needles and knit to the desired finger height.

Finger mitt knits as in ordinary mittens-gloves (see picture).

Considering scarf-hom ut And mitts bound Olei knitting needles, and comparing the scheme of the pattern with the description of the pattern for Margarita Kuznetsova, I realized that this is the same pattern! But connected with different threads and knitting needle numbers, it also looks different on these products, you must agree. 😉

And I also want to note that the first Olin scarf collar (snood) and mitts, unlike the first pancake, which can be lumpy, look great! Thank you, Olga!

By the way, the fur coat that you see on Olga and in this photo was also made by her. What a needlewoman!

Well, now we are waiting for your comments, dear participants and viewers of this contest! Support the new member with thunderous applause! And we will wait for new works of the contestants!!!

So the time has come to warm up for the winter, and I want to choose something interesting, isn't it? Did you know that this season a collar scarf with knitting needles is extremely relevant - the patterns and description are so diverse and simple that you can make your image simply incredible. Let's dream up together, or better yet, move from fantasy to action and make a super stylish look that even Hollywood stars will envy. And photo and video diagrams will help us in this, as well as detailed instructions on how to knit a snood collar with a circular scarf with knitting needles. Let's begin!

Before approaching the consideration of the most popular and relevant schemes this season, some details should be clarified.

  1. Of course, first decide on the choice of threads. They should not be too thin, choose not only your favorite color, but also good quality yarn. Let the composition be from 50% natural threads (wool, angora, mohair).
  2. The next step is the knitting needles. If you do not yet have knitting needles and you are new to this type of needlework, we recommend purchasing circular knitting needles, 4.5-5 mm thick. They are just right for beginners.
  3. And the third stage - practice knitting a small patch, the so-called trial version.

While you are not a pro yet, try to master the following knitting methods:

  • Polish gum.
  • Edged rubber.
  • Garter knitting.
  • polish gum

The photo shows the finished product, knitted with Polish rubber. Consider also the scheme by which you need to knit this wonderful beauty. And here is a small instruction on how to knit a collar scarf with knitting needles with this particular type of knitting.

  1. Cast on the required number of loops. To make such a knitted snood, as in the photo, you will need 110 loops (or a multiple of 4, plus 2 edge loops). The finished product will have a total length of about one and a half meters.
  2. We knit all the loops and connect them into a ring.
  3. We turn to knitting the first row. To do this, we observe the repetition: 3 facial loops, one purl.
  4. Second row: 1 facial, 1 purl, 2 facial.
  5. Third row: repeat knitting on the first row.
  6. The fourth row is similar to the second.
  7. We knit according to this instruction until the snood reaches the required width. Next, close the loops.

Faceted ribbing and garter stitch

The set of loops is the same as when knitting with a Polish elastic band.

  1. First row: we knit 2 front loops and 2 wrong ones, at the end of the row 1 front, and then - hem;
  2. Second row: purl loops - 2 pieces, facial loops - 2 pieces, 1 purl at the end of the row, then - edge.
  3. Alternate rows until the scarf is the desired width.

Faceted elastic can also be combined with garter stitch.

  1. We collect 80 loops and 2 edge.
  2. We knit 80 rows with a faceted elastic band.
  3. Next comes 6 rows of garter stitch: remove the edge loop on the right knitting needle. Next come the front loops, behind the front wall. The last loop in the row is purl.

You can knit such a colorful option

Pick up green, turquoise, dark green, blue-green, yellow threads. The needles are naturally circular. The knitting method here is the front surface. We knit the first row with facial loops, the second with purl. To begin with, we collect 80 loops, and then we knit 40 cm in each color, using the front surface. At the end of the work, we close the loops.

Knitted collar scarf: video tutorials for every taste

Another way to learn how to knit a collar scarf with knitting needles is, of course, to watch video tutorials on our page. It is very convenient for both beginner knitters and experienced craftswomen. Thus, considering the schemes online, you can repeat the pattern after the master and create your own masterpiece.

We draw your attention to such a knitted collar with an original pattern. By the way, according to this scheme, you can knit a children's circular scarf, which will look very nice on the neck, and most importantly, fit snugly against it without tightening or creating discomfort. You can even make the same collar for a dress or for a sweater - the model will look just amazing.

So, let's get to work. We take threads, which include 50% wool and 50% synthetic yarn. We select knitting needles, 6 mm thick.

  1. At the first stage we knit a cross braid. Cast on 16 stitches. We begin to knit 1 row: we remove the first loop, we knit the second loop with a purl loop. Next, we knit 12 loops with facial loops. The last 2 loops are purl.
  • We knit the second, third and fourth rows in the same way - where we have facial ones, we knit facial ones, etc.
  • Fifth row - remove the first loop, the second wrong side. We take an additional knitting needle, remove 3 loops on it, leave it in front of us and knit 3 loops from the main knitting needle, and then 3 loops from the additional one. According to this scheme, we knit further, until the end of the row. 2 last loops - purl.
  • The sixth row is similar to the first.
  • We turn the work over and start from the first row. We will knit cycles of 6 rows until we get a scarf that is 56 cm long (based on an adult). To get everything right, you can periodically rewind the video and view the instructions from the very beginning.
  1. Second phase. When we knit the whole product, we need to connect 2 of its edges. To do this, we cut the working thread on one side, thread a needle into it and begin to sew 2 edges. To do this, from the near side we stretch the needle into 2 consecutive loops, and then we transfer the needle and thread to the second (far) edge of the scarf.
  2. The pigtail is ready. Let's move on to the third stage of knitting. Now we pick up 108 loops along the transverse braid in a circle and start knitting with pearl knitting.
  • First row: front loop, purl, front, purl. And so on to the end of the row.
  • Row 2: Swap knit and purl stitches. Where there were front ones, we do wrong ones and vice versa.
