Description of knitting a stole on a machine

Pull out 124 needles (62-62) into the PNP and use a loop hook to make a set of “pigtail”. Then work in 5** gauge as follows: 10 rows in stockinette stitch, 216 rows in stt, *18 rows in st, 4 rows in stt (1st to 4th row)*, repeat from * to * 17 more times, 216 rows with a pattern on a punched card, 10 rows with front stitch We knit the last row at a density of 10 **, pull out all the needles in PNP and close the loops with a loop hook “pigtail”.

Assembly:

Steam off the canvas. Crochet wide sides 1 alternately next to st. without a crochet, c. n., and the narrow sides - 1 next to alternately st. double crochet, c. n. On the narrow sides, make tassels 8-9 cm long in finished form.

Adviсe

Knitted garments should not be hung on coat hangers, as they stretch out under their own weight.

It is better to wash in cool water using special detergents. Soak the knitted product for 3 minutes, wring out several times, but do not rub. Then rinse thoroughly in cold water and squeeze lightly.

Do not twist when pressing! Wrap in a terry towel and wring out again. Straighten the product and lay it out on a flat surface, preferably on a fabric that is well breathable.

In order to clearly track the rows when knitting, we advise every 10 p. mark the extreme loops. This will greatly facilitate your further calculation.

This is the simplest of all knitting machines. A beautiful and unusual stole was my first product made on it. It is not difficult at all, you just need to get used to the algorithm of actions.
Before starting work, we fill the machine and analyze the needles: three in the front working position - PNP, seven - in the back non-working position - ZNP. We collect loops using a looper with a pigtail. That is, three loops around the needles, and 7 air loops according to the type of crochet set and again around three needles. We have a report of 10 loops. You can make any number of needles, this will only slightly change the pattern and density of the finished stole.
After a set of loops, we put the thread into the carriage, which should be on the right. We put Russell's levers on both sides in position 1. Thus, we have included partial knitting. With the help of this function, we will knit our beauty.
It looks like this:

We put the last three needles in the middle working position. The rest of the needles remain in the PNP and ZNP, as they were. We knit these three extreme needles with a carriage:

The carriage is on the right. We take the thread and wind it up, as shown in the second photo under the last needle. The thread remains in the carriage. We knit back to the right. We hang the load on the loops of the first trinity. Again we knit these extreme three needles to the left and again we start the thread under the extreme needle.

We do this five times. It turns out here is a picture, before the last sixth time, the carriage is on the right.

We remove the next three needles in the middle working position - PSA. And we knit the first and second trinity.

We start the thread again by the extreme needle.

We put forward the first three needles in the PNP, they are no longer knitted.

We are now working with the second trio. She is in the SRP. We knit 4 times, since the first matches the sixth of the previous three needles. The card is on the right. Again we put the next three needles in the SRP and, moving to the left, we knit the second and third triples of needles. When knitting to the right, we also wrap the outer needle with a thread.

It turns out this canvas:

Having reached the last three needles, we knit them 12 times, not six. That is, we turn in the opposite direction. You get this picture:

Do not forget to change the position of the needles that have already gone out of work on the PNP so that they are not accidentally knitted by the carriage. Change the loads in time, the evenness of the loops depends on them. I recommend knitting this tippet on a gauge of 4 to 6. Knitting too loose will result in a fuzzy pattern. A high density will not allow the product to get airiness.

Finishing knitting is simple - after knitting to the edge, knit six times instead of 12. And close three loops with needles, as usual. Where the needles are in the ZNP, you will have to tinker: pick up air loops with a loop catcher and close the trinity again on a typewriter.
This stole can be knitted in 4 hours. Since this was my first piece, it took me 8 hours. But having mastered all the operations of pushing the needles, rearranging the loads, counting the knitted rows on the first lower tier, then I knitted almost without looking.
After removing the canvas from the machine, he should be allowed to lie down for a couple of hours. Then wash by hand in shampoo or liquid soap. Press carefully. Drying such a product can only be done on a horizontal surface. Spread your hands on a towel and cover with a second towel on top. If the tippet is too long, fold it in half. Blocking is not needed.
After the masterpiece dries, attach the brushes. To do this, cut the same lengths of thread, and crochet along the edge every two threads in places of the front surface of 3 loops.

Description of the stole knitted by machine and crochet

I welcome you to my blog! For those who love machine knitting - Description. The border is crocheted.

The palatine is gorgeous! I called it "Warm and Cozy". You throw it on your shoulders, a feeling of bliss ... It fits softly, as if hugging your shoulders. Smart, flashy.

I think the description will be useful for beginners. For those who learn to knit on a fifth grade Japanese machine Silver. In any case, for me it was one of the first items connected on our brand new Silver 840. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments.

For the stole, I used Brilliant VITA yarn in a beautiful bright turquoise color (color No. 4981). The composition of the threads: 45% wool, 55% acrylic, i.e. it's semi-wool. Thickness/length: 100 gr/380m.

At first I wanted to knit with a “shift” weave: on the back needle bar we perform stocking knitting, not all needles work on the PI, but those selected according to the pattern pattern.

But, something went wrong, the threads strove to jump off the car. In general, having thoroughly suffered, I chose a different weave. And didn't regret it. The stole turned out just right - warm and not heavy.

Machine knitting of a warm stole

Description for knitting a stole on a fifth-class Silver machine

  • Weave: "elastic band with crochets". If you also have a Class 5 Silver machine, see page 71 of the SK840 Instructions.
  • Exposure: 120 needles, i.e. 60-120-60.
  • In the process of knitting, as always, she hung and reweighed loads.

I knitted from beginning to end with the selected weave of 480 rows. Then she closed the hinges and removed the finished stole from the car.

As far as I remember, I used three skeins of yarn, i.e. three hundred grams.

tippet size: 130 cm x 50 cm. Almost one and a half meters long and half a meter wide.

As is often the case with many beginners, it was not without flaws. In two places along the edge of the canvas, the thread was dropped, but I did not immediately notice it. Because at first there was no skill to see and track these problems when knitting on both fontures. Yes, and then she also did not know how to lift the loops up, completely restoring the pattern. Therefore, I was very upset at first when I saw that almost at the end of knitting (apparently, when I was happy that things were going, I stopped carefully following the process) there are errors.

I decided to decorate the stole, make it brighter. And, at the same time, mask your shortcomings. Everything worked out very well. The border not only covered these two places, but completely “absorbed” them. When dialing the initial row of loops along the stole, the marriage disappeared into them.

Tippet can be thrown over the head

For the border used Russian yarn. It is very inexpensive, usually sold in small balls of 50 grams. But, I like it because, in some cases, light and textured products are obtained from it. please see a detailed master class about the original beret, crocheted from just such a thread. There is also a photo of such yarn, how it looks in skeins, and in balls.

Hook number 3.

The border is very simple we use techniques:air loop (VP), single crochet (SbN), double crochet (CsN), Lush ST. - lush column: two unfinished CCHs with a common top.

I made a type-setting edge along the product, i.e. scored loops around the perimeter of the stole. I counted, it turned out the number of loops, multiple of 7 (105 loops, i.e. for 15 reports).

  • First row: one double crochet in the 4th loop from the hook, then * two VPs, one dc, skipping two VPs *. Repeat * * to the end of the row. Finished with just a double crochet.
  • Second p: four VPs (i.e. three lifting loops + 1 VP), 1 RLS in the first VP of the first arch of the two VPs of the previous row, 3 VPs, 1 st.b.n in the first VP of the second arch of the two VPs of the previous p ., * 9 VP, 1 St. b.n., skipping two arches, into the 1st VP of the next arch., 3 VP, 1 sbnakida into the 1st VP next. arches, (total arches from 3 air points should turn out 4) *. Repeated to the end * *. At the end of the river it turned out just four arches.
  • Third row: 4 VP, one single crochet in the first arch of 3 VP of the previous row, 3 VP., 1 column. bn next. arch, (you get three arches), * 3 VP., 4 Lush. SSN in the middle of the arch from 7 VP, 3 VP., 1 stob b.n. in the first arch of three VPs, and also 3 VPs, 1 RLS in each arch (in total, there should be three arches from 3 VPs) *. So the whole series * *.
  • Fourth row: 4 VP., 1 single crochet in an arch of three VP. prev. R., * 4 VP., 1 Lush SSnakidom. between the magnificent st of the previous row, 4 VP, (it turned out 5 lush columns in five arches), 1 RLS in the next small arch, 3 VP., 1 RLS in the next arch (there should be two arches) *. Repeated again * *.

A stole on a knitting machine, even with a simple front stitch, will look even and beautiful. You can apply fashion trends regarding colors. Women have found their thing for cold winters and cool autumns.

Because This product can be used as a cape on the head. This little thing will well complement a coat and a sheepskin coat. It is important to choose the right yarn and a beautiful pattern. Detailed information regarding the yarn and lovely pattern is below.

A small but very detailed master class on how to create a stole on a knitting machine. Attention in the article there is a special pattern for a knitting machine that will help create flawless lace.

A very interesting question that will take even the master by surprise, despite the fact that he knitted all the time, and here is the machine. What yarn and how to knit? Such a large experience in knitting needles does not help much in a collision with a typewriter.

In fact, the opinions of knitters on typewriters are divided regarding yarn. Someone advises to choose only special bobbins and there already deal with a wool mixture.

But there were also those who got used to knitting with ordinary yarn, and pay attention only to the thickness of the thread. But one thing is the direct dependence on the model.

The amount of yarn for a sweater is about 2 kg per size 46. For a stole, you can also use about 2 kg. And for those who want a larger stole than 0.5 by 2, you can buy a little more yarn.

The principle of knitting will be no different from knitting by hand. Is it faster and the loops are smoother. But the master will enjoy the yarn in any case. It will not be possible to completely entrust the work to the robot; the whole process will have to be controlled.

We chose a model, bought yarn and also knitted a small sample for the right size. Next, we calculated the knitting density (how many loops and how many rows of this pattern has 10 cm). In terms of knitting density, we further calculated how many loops and how many rows would be needed for a whole stole.

Step-by-step instructions for knitting a stole on a knitting machine

Then, based on one model, it will be possible to plunge into the creation of a stole on a typewriter. A complete description of the manufacture of the stole with diagrams and clarifications for the master and beginner.

Light openwork tippet

Very nice light color shawl. A thin thread, openwork patterns make this product even more charming. It is very warm and can complement a classic coat. Knitting is carried out using the shetland lace technique. This stole was created on a Brother typewriter from grade 5.

For work you will need:

  • Yarn LineaPiu (Camelot Mohair);
  • knitting machine.

The size of the finished product is 170*80 cm.

Sample

At first they tied a small sample on a punched card on a typewriter. A small piece should determine the density of knitting. Just put a ruler on a free canvas. Do not stretch it, as this will result in an incorrect measurement.

We calculated how many loops are in 10 cm and this will be the first number for knitting density. The second is how many rows will also be contained in 10 cm. Two numbers determine the density of knitting. They determined how many loops are required for a stole width of 80 cm. How many rows will be needed for a stole size of 170 cm. If desired, you can increase the tippet canvas.

Knitting on a punched card

Knitting of this stole takes place on a special punched card.

That's why knitted the required number of loops, and you can almost immediately try on the product. This is how easy and simple you can make a fashionable product for yourself and your loved ones.

Important! Good advice from the masters will be the timely processing of the stole. After knitting, it will need to be wetted and allowed to dry on a flat surface, immediately level the loops. So it will last a long time and the loops will be even.

Here so a knitting machine can make a whole stole in such a short time. It would take a knitting master several days. And what smooth loops and no errors. A very modern solution and a beautiful product can be worn for pleasure, no one will think that it was created by one's own hands. Smooth loops and great creative inspiration.

In the wardrobe of most women there is a stole. It is both a piece of clothing and an accessory that gives the look a unique look and elegance. Knitted capes have a special chic.
Hand knitting is a long process. Not everyone can afford to devote a lot of time to it. A good helper in this matter is a knitting machine. The stole is knitted on a typewriter quite quickly. Experienced knitters can do it in one sitting. And for beginners, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in machine knitting and master various techniques and patterns.

A beautiful knitted stole is a wonderful gift for a birthday or a holiday. You can quickly impose several different products and give them to family and friends, for example, for the New Year. Or just urgently solve the problem with a gift.

Another advantage of knitting knitwear on a machine is a perfectly even fabric, even when using very thin threads.

You can knit from yarn of various composition and almost any thickness. It all depends on the class of the knitting machine and what kind of thing is needed - warm and dense to protect against the cold or light openwork to create a complete image of an evening dress. Accordingly, you can knit from wool and wool mixture, cotton, silk, viscose, various mixed and fantasy types of yarn.

The color range of threads has no restrictions. Here, when choosing, only the taste and wishes of the performer or the future owner of the thing play a role.

For knitting a stole on a typewriter, various patterns are used. Most often with openwork weave. Patterns can range from simple nets to intricate ornaments such as Scottish lace.

Plating is a false openwork. It is obtained by using two threads, one of which is very thin - fishing line or nylon. The cape knitted in this way has an exquisite jacquard-like pattern.

From multi-colored threads you can knit a real jacquard. Such products are very bright and original. It is even easier to knit them on the machine with a simple stockinette stitch using section-dyed or melange yarn.

Patterns with a press (fang) weave look interesting. The result is a honeycomb-like fabric. The pattern comes out on the face and inside, and is different, which allows you to wear the thing as you like, twisting and throwing it on the different side.

With the help of knitting "weaving" a weaving pattern resembling a tapestry is imitated. It is produced by applying a finishing thread on the wrong side of the fabric.

You can decorate a stole knitted by a machine with tassels or crocheting. To preserve the shape, the finished product must be subjected to blocking - to dry in a stretched fixed form.
