In the libraries of Kasimov, events were held as part of the International Day of Neighbors project. Their goal is to revive the traditions of good neighborliness, jointly solve common problems, unite residents through the organization of cultural activities for adults and children.
Employees of cultural institutions, housing and communal services, residents of microdistricts took part in organizing and holding a number of events.
May 21 in a separate division of MBUK "Central Bank named after. L.A.Malyugina "- Library number 6 microdistrict 50 years of the USSR was a friendly tournament between the residents of the house number 2 "A". It was attended by representatives of the Azyukin, Kakushkin, Mironov and Nosov families.
For the children, a film about the painting by Viktor Vasnetsov "Three Heroes" and a presentation about epic heroes were organized. After that, the participants of the meeting answered the questions of the quiz "Stars of Russian epics". The tournament ended with the victory of the Mironovs-Kakushkins team, and the meeting ended with a soulful neighborly tea party. At the end of the event, children received prizes for their activity and curiosity.

Librarian Tatyana Maksimova introduced the children to the history of the holiday. Participants talked about their neighbors with whom they have developed good relations. Then the schoolchildren performed a competitive task: they drew their house, friends-neighbors, etc. According to the results of the competition, the authors of the best works were awarded with memorable souvenirs. Within its framework, several games were held, including those on the topic of professions necessary for maintaining houses: “Builder”, “Atoms are neighbors”, “Find your mate”, “Janitor”. Chief librarian Yekaterina Karpova reviewed the exhibition, which presented books about friendship, mutual assistance, etc. The event ended with a tea party, for which a sweet treat was provided by the housing and communal services department of the Kasimov city administration.
On the same day, employees libraries No. 1 and 5 and residents of the microdistrict of Chizhov Square celebrated the International Day of Neighbors by holding an event to improve the territory “Let's decorate our yard together”.
Near the house number 55 on Bolshakova Street, where one of the libraries is located, everyone was working together weeding and arranging five flower beds, on which flower seedlings were planted. Seedlings were provided by the department of housing and communal services of the city administration.

May 30 employees library number 8 organized a holiday for residents of the Prioksky microdistrict. It was attended by employees of the department for the Kasimovsky district of the Ministry of social protection of the population of the Ryazan region. They congratulated all those present on the holiday and held an exciting quiz dedicated to this date.
The festive atmosphere was supported by the members of the Sudarushka group, led by Alexei Luchin, who performed their favorite songs. Participants of the event sang with pleasure.

Our kindergarten has two wonderful women who live next door. The ladies are pleasant in all respects: Koryakina Oksana Anatolyevna and Rovneiko Irina Fedorovna.
These two women neighbors have a lot in common. Both were born in Karpinsk, in the mid-70s. Both have daughters - excellent students, both are kind and hardworking. They like to work on the ground, on garden plots, growing good crops.
Both wanted to get an education and acquire an interesting profession.
Oksana Anatolyevna graduated from the Karpinsky Engineering College, became a technician - technologist. Irina Fedorovna graduated from the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical Institute, received a diploma as a teacher of the Russian language and literature.
Almost simultaneously, a year and a half apart, both began their careers in our city.
