abbreviations:

c.p. - Air loop

Art. b / n - single crochet

Body:

The body consists of two parts, one upper, the other lower.

To start, we knit a circle from the center:

ch 2 , in the second loop from the hook 8 st.b / n

1 row: 2 st.b / n in each st (= 16 st.)

2 row: in every second st, 2 tbsp. b / n (= 24st.)

3rd row: in every third st, 2 tbsp. b / n (= 32st.)

4 row: in every fourth st. 2 tbsp. b / n (= 40st.)

Check if the diameter of the circle matches the width of the cell phone,

since this circle will be the bottom in our case, and if it is small for your phone, then the phone simply will not fit there.

If the diameter of the circle is not large enough, you will have to knit a few more circular rows, adding st.

13 circular rows, knit st. b / n in each st. previous row.

It turned out to be a glass.

We knit the second part in the same way as the first, but instead of 13 rows we knit only 11 rows.

Be sure to check if the phone enters completely into the “body”.

Eyes:

2 row: in every second st, 2 tbsp. b / n (= 18 st.)

3rd row: in every third st. 2 tbsp. b / n (= 24 st.)

4 row: in every fourth st. 2 tbsp each, b / n. (= 30 Art.)

5-6 rows: art. b / n (without additions)

knit the second eye in the same way.

Legs:

Ch 2, 6 sts, b / n in the second loop from the hook

1 row: 2 st.b / n in each st. (= 12th century)

2-3 rows: art. b / n without additions

4th row: every second st. do not knit.

The resulting ball is filled with synthetic wool (from an old pillow), or if this is not possible, then an unnecessary sock can be cut into small pieces and stuffed with it.

We finish the leg: we knit a chain of 8-10 ch.

Tie all legs in the same way.

We made it:

Two-part body, 4 legs, 2 eyes.

We sew the body so that the longer part is at the bottom, we sew it in the middle at the back, in front we leave a hole into which the phone will be inserted, for the frog it will be a mouth.

We sew the eyes on the top of the head, and the legs are one on the upper part of the body, the other on the bottom.

For a rope: we collect a chain from v.p. of a suitable size (approximately 120-150 vp) and tie it with st. b/n.

We sew the rope to the crown, between the eyes.

The frog is ready, glue the eyes, embroider the nostrils, and make out his face.

Treat yourself and your KIDS.

I fell ill with knitted bags as pillows and began to pay attention to interesting ideas and collect them.

Oh, if I had more time, I would knit them all!

I especially like crochet summer bags.

Ideas lay back and waited for my inspiration, and I finally decided to crochet a summer bag.

The process was very long. In principle, if you take it and knit, then this bag can be made in a few evenings. But due to the busyness of blogging and gardening and household chores, I approached knitting very rarely.

And just recently, my openwork crocheted summer bag with a handle over my shoulder was born.

Crochet summer bag: master class

Probably, many needlewomen already wear similar bags, since both the patterns and the description of crocheting such a summer bag have been circulating on the Internet for a long time.

But I made my own small master class, I will tell you how I knitted a bag using only patterns, and I came up with the shape myself.

Strong threads that do not stretch are suitable for knitting bags, it can be cotton, thread with linen, polyester. Beautiful summer handbags are crocheted by craftswomen, making yarn from plastic bags.

It is important that a bag is knitted from a thin thread: a hook that would fit one or 1.5, as in my case.

As you can see, the pattern consists of two parts, and the lower part of the bag is knitted from round motifs, there should have been 6 of them, judging by the photo of the main model. If you use thick threads and knit motifs according to the proposed scheme, you will get a huge bag, it will no longer be a summer women's handbag, but a travel bag.

I didn’t buy yarn, I decided to knit a bag from very thin semi-woolen threads that I have. First of all, they suit me in color. It was assumed that the strength of the bag would be given by a canvas lining.

So, even from these thin threads, but in four additions, I knitted only 5 motifs, the bag turned out to be 36x30x9 cm in size. An extra motif was already useless.

How much yarn it took, I can’t say for sure. I think that about 400 grams may be required.

Knitting patterns for a summer bag

To crochet an openwork summer bag, the following two patterns are used: the pattern of the motifs of the lower part of the bag, the pattern of the pattern of the upper part.

Between these parts, for the bottom, finishing the top and the handle of the bag, knitting with single crochets was used.

The diagrams are clear and not complicated. I will not describe how to knit each row and each loop, I will simply describe the process of crocheting a summer bag with an explanation of some points.

Connection of large round motifs

So, first we knit the first round motif according to the scheme. Such an interesting napkin with only 10 rows.

When knitting the next motif, I connected it with the first one when I finished knitting the last row. How to combine motives, I will tell and show in more detail.

According to the scheme in the 10th row, you need to knit bows from air loops. At the junction of motives we knit them like this:

We collect 2 VP + one more for connection.

We take out the hook from the motive that we knit, insert it under the bow of the first motive, stretch the loop, knit it with a connecting column.

Thus, we make a connection of motives in 6 places.

When knitting the following motifs, you need to connect exactly opposite the junctions of the first two motifs to get a straight ribbon of round motifs, which we close in a ring, connecting the first and last motif ( also in the process of knitting the last row, but the connection will already need to be done on both sides).

Knitting small connecting motifs

The gaps between the large round motifs above and below must be filled with small connecting motifs.

To do this, we proceed as follows (see diagram):

We close the ring of 6 VP.

When tying it with single crochets, we simultaneously knit chains of air loops, with which we will connect the motifs:

  • 4 RLS, 5 VP, we connect them from the 4th in a row from the top junction of the motives with a bow with a single crochet; then 5 VP, 1SBN in a ringlet.
  • 3VP, we connect them with the 3rd from the last junction with a bow; 3VP, 1SBN.
  • 2VP, we connect them with the 2nd from the last junction with a bow; 2VP, 1SBN.
  • 4VP, we connect them with the place of the last connection of motives; 4VP, 1SBN.

And now we proceed to the connection with the second round motif.

  • 2VP, we connect them with the 2nd bow of the second motive; 2VP, 1SBN.
  • 3VP, we connect them with the 3rd bow; 3VP, 1SBN.
  • 5VP, we connect them with the 4th bow; 5VP, 1SBN.

Tying connected motifs

When all the motifs are interconnected on both sides by intermediate connecting motifs, we tie the resulting ribbon from above and below with several rows of single crochets in a circle.

From below I knitted five rows, from above - 8.

Knitting the bottom of the bag

I did everything very simply here: I knitted a rectangular strip with single crochets, starting from the narrow side. I tried on the length in the process of knitting, and when I attached it to the bag, I adjusted it (I knitted several rows).

The bottom was connected to the bag with a hook with single crochets on the front side.

Knitting the top of the bag

We knit the upper part of the summer bag with a crochet in a circle according to the 2nd scheme, I have already placed it above.

Having connected 8 cm, I continued knitting with single crochets (6 rows).

Then, for my bag model, it was necessary to tie "ears" that turned into handles on the sides.

To do this, I marked with pins the places from which they should begin, and knitted both parts separately in shortened rows, i.e. in each row I did not knit 2 columns.

When the width reached 4 cm, I knitted a section of 4 cm in height with a straight fabric.

She tied the finished “ears” around the perimeter with single crochets.

Here is the shape of the bag:

Since there are an odd number of round motifs, the view from different sides of the bag is different:

I ironed the finished bag with an iron with a steamer through the fabric.

Knitting the handle of a summer bag

For the handle, as well as the bottom, I knitted a small rectangular strip with single crochets.

Then I folded it in half lengthwise and connected the edges with a hook. Inside laid the twine in several rows. It gives the handle strength and does not stretch.

I sewed metal rings left over from the old bag into the “ears”. I sewed a handle to these rings.

I missed one such moment. When the bag was filled with things, in a hanging position on the shoulder, the “ears” were greatly stretched, and the handle turned out to be too big, I had to shorten it. It didn't look bad on the outside. The bag is perfect for me.

Summer bag lining

For the lining, I sewed a simple rectangular canvas bag. I chose canvas as the material, since it is the same color as the bag, it is a very dense fabric, which is exactly what I need so that the bag keeps its shape.

I sewed the corners at the bottom, shaping the bottom.

Stitched a pocket inside.

Sewn a zipper on top.

For strength and stability, the bottom glued a piece of insulation to it, which I cut off from the seat that I had left after a trip to Dombai.

Knitting bag can amaze the imagination with both implementation options and areas of application. Bags are also knitted in large sizes for household, purely practical needs. And decorative bags of small size, for wearing daily little things. You can knit a bag - clutch, for a festive event, as a fashion accessory. Now the trend is to knit bags for a variety of gadgets - phones, tablets, e-books.

Thanks to this variety of applications and sizes, there are both simple knitting patterns for bags for beginner needlewomen, and professional products of the highest class. Novice needlewomen are experimenting with bags - phone cases. They can be imposed a lot and changed daily. Decorate with patterns, flowers and rhinestones. Professional needlewomen knit richly decorated bags and sets. Such bags with knitting needles collect a lot of feedback and are successfully sold if the bag is knitted to order.

Some are experimenting with knitted bags. For example, knit bags from packages. The idea is original. A bag of packages is extremely practical and not easily soiled. Knitted backpacks can also be attributed to bags with knitting needles.

We are sure that you have either already knitted bags or will definitely knit it in the future. Feel free to send a photo of your bag, description and knitting pattern if any..

A bright bag is knitted from motives, the brighter the yarn, the more positive you will get a handbag.
