We knit a rectangle 29.5 * 10.5 cm. This will be the bottom. This can be done both with knitting needles and crochet.

When the bottom is ready, around its perimeter we collect 180 sts on circular knitting needles. We must try to get the same number of loops on each side to get a symmetrical pattern.
As a knitting pattern, the Braid pattern is used here. This is a very simple drawing, so any needlewoman can do it with her own hands.

The height of the bag can be adjusted to your liking. On average, it is 26-28 cm. As soon as the height has reached the desired one, the loops are closed.

We continue to knit the main pattern - we rise up 5 cm. Further - the turn of the second ruffle. Knitting patterns for all ruffles are the same. It will not be difficult to tie them with your own hands. You can prepare 3 ruffles in advance, and then only attach them to the canvas. We attach 2, 3 and 4 frills, knitting between them again approximately 5 cm with a “rice” pattern.
After we managed to tie and stitch 4 ruffles, we knit 1p PI. We finish the top of the product as follows: 2LP, 2LP together, 2LP, 2LP together - and so on throughout the circle. As a result, you will have 84p. we knit the next 5 cm with knitting needles according to the pattern. The penultimate row - all the loops are facial, the last - purl. Then we close.
It remains only to make handles for our knitted handbag with our own hands. Their width is 6 p. The pattern is the main one, “rice”. Length - whichever is more convenient for you, usually about 35 cm. In total, you need to make 2 handles and sew them on.

Method number 4
