Description of crochet beanie with ears

Bunny hat leaves no one indifferent. And I will tell you how to knit it.

We will need: Knitting needles No. 3 and No. 2, Nazar yarn "Baby" and Pekhorka "Children's whim", tapestry needle.

A caterpillar cord of the required length is knitted from pink yarn (somewhere around 12 cm). From the 3 loops remaining on the hook, we start the ears of the cap. The left and right ear are knitted symmetrically. We transfer 3 p. to the knitting needle and knit with a garter stitch, while on both sides in each 2nd p. add 7 times 1 p. = 17 p. On these 17 p. knit straight 20 p., then add 11 p. on the left side, knit 5 p. on these 28 p., after which the loops leave. Then, between both parts, dial new 54 p. = 110 p. And knit 40 p. in forward and reverse directions.

In the next row, decrease 10 times in 2 p. , knitting together with the front one, every 9 loops = 100 p. Repeat these decreases 4 more times in each 4th p., Then repeat in each 2nd p. until only 10 sts. In the next row, knit 2 sts together with the front one along the entire row, tighten the remaining 5 sts with a working thread. Sew the back seam.

Bunny ears:

They consist of 2 parts fluffy and smooth.

For fluffy, dial 5 sts on knitting needles No. 3 and knit with a garter stitch, while on both sides in each 2nd p. add 7 times 1 p. = 19 p. Then knit without increments 6 p. and we begin to decrease 1 p. on each side in each p. until the number of loops is 3. Knit these 3 p. as one and stretch the thread.

For a smooth one, cast on knitting needles No. 2 3 sts and knit with stocking stitch, while on both sides in each 2nd p. add 5 times 1 p. = 13 p. Then knit without increments 4 p. and we begin to decrease 1 p. on each side in each p. until the number of loops is 3. Knit these 3 p. as one and stretch the thread.

Sew the fluffy and smooth parts of the ears, while the smooth part is sewn back 2.5 cm from the beginning of the fluffy ear. The ears are slightly tucked (rolled into a tube) and sewn at a distance of 2 cm from the crown of the cap with the smooth side inward.

Knitted bunny hat

Hat "Hare ears" on knitting needles for a baby aged 3-6 months.

Materials:

100 grams of white wool (100 grams/100 meters), Reynolds Andean Alpaca Regal recommended.

25 grams of pink wool (25 grams / 105 meters), AnnyBlatt Angora Super wool is recommended.

Circular knitting needles No. 5.

Knitting density:

16 sts x 22 rows in a 10 x 10 cm square.

Operation instructions:

Beanie: Set of loops:

For beginners: Cast on 56 sts with white wool.

For experienced knitters: To make a cast on cast on, cast on as follows: *cast on 3 stitches, slip 1 stitch on right needle and pull through it 1 loop from the left knitting needle, return the resulting loop to the left knitting needle (you got 2 cast on loops) * Repeat until you get 56 cast on loops. As a result, you will get a serrated edge.

Knit the first row, continue knitting with the front stitch until the fabric is 10 cm from the bottom edge (22 rows).

Reducing loops:

*knit 5 stitches, knit the next two stitches together*, repeat to the end of the row. You will have 48 stitches left.

One row without reduction.

*knit 4 stitches, knit the next two stitches together*, repeat to the end of the row. You will have 40 stitches left.

One row without reduction.

*knit 3 stitches, knit the next two stitches together*, repeat to the end of the row. You will have 32 stitches left.

One row without reduction.

*knit 2 sts, knit the next 2 sts together*, repeat to the end of the row. You will have 24 stitches left.

One row without reduction.

*knit 2 sts, knit the next 2 sts together*, repeat to the end of the row. You will have 18 stitches left.

One row without reduction.

Knit together every two loops, you will have 9 loops left.

Break the thread, pull it through the remaining 9 loops, tighten and fasten off.

Bunny ears:

Cast on 12 sts with white wool and immediately after them cast on 10 sts with pink wool.

The outer side of the ear will be knitted in stockinette stitch of white wool, while the inner side of the ear will be slightly smaller and knitted on the wrong side. The inner part will comfortably hide inside the ear and will be slightly different in texture.

Row 1: (right side) P 10 sts of pink wool, and 12 sts of white wool with front sts.

Second row: (wrong side) knit 12 stitches of white wool with purl stitches, and 10 stitches of pink wool with facial stitches.

Continue knitting in this way and knit 12 rows in height. Remember to cross the threads when you switch from one thread to another, then you do not need to sew the white and pink parts together.

Decrease: (pink) knit 2 sts together, then 6 sts, then knit the next 2 sts together, (white) knit 2 sts together, then 8 sts, then knit the next 2 sts together.

Knit the next row without decreasing (if you see a front loop, knit it as a front one, if you see a wrong loop, knit it as a wrong one).

Continue knitting in the same pattern (decreasing in one row 1 extreme loop on both sides on a white and pink canvas and knitting 1 row without reduction) until you have 1 pink loop and 2 white loops.

After that, cut the pink thread, leaving about 15 cm in length. Pull the end of the thread through the remaining loop to complete the pink part of the eyelet. Cut the white thread, leaving about 30 cm in length. Insert the end of the thread into the needle and pull it through the remaining two loops.

Finishing: Use the remaining end of the white thread to sew the side seam. To do this, fold the eyelet in half and sew the eyelet, starting at the top.

Final build:

Tuck all the loose ends of the threads inward. Fold each ear in half with the pink side facing in and sew the bottom edges of the ear together so it holds its shape well. Place the front edge of the eyelet about 5 rows from the very top of the hat and sew the ears along the seams that were formed when the loops on the hat were reduced.

Abbreviations

  • ssn - double crochet;
  • sc - single crochet;
  • s2n - double crochet;
  • s3n - a column with three crochets;
  • st - column;
  • 2sv - two double crochets together.

Step-by-step description of the process

Step 1: Knitting the main part of the hat

Row 1: we knit a chain of eight air loops, connect into a ring.

Row 2: we perform sc in each front slice of one column, the previous row, to get 16 sc.

Row 3: two sc in every second sc of the previous row = 24.

Row 4: similar to row 3 = 32.

Row 5: Two sc in every third sc = 40.

From 6 to 12 row: sbn without additions, in a spiral.

Row 13: 1 sbn, 1 s2n, 1 st s3n, 1 s2n, 1 sbn and so on 4 times. You should get a wave-like row.

If the hat you knitted is a little short, then add a couple more rows to the pattern. But the last row should remain unchanged.

Step 2: Knit the Ears of the Beanie

Row 1: Connect 6 air.p. into the ring.

Row 2: 2 sc in 1 st., 1 sc, 2 sc in one, 1 sc, 2 sc = 8 st.

Row 3: 2 sb in 1 tbsp, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb, 2 sb in 1 tbsp, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb = 10 st.

Row 4: 2 sb in 1 tbsp, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb, 2 sb in 1 st, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb, 1 sb = 12 st.

Row 5: evenly add 4 sc = 16 tbsp.

From 6 to 20 row: sbn without additions in a spiral. If necessary, the length of the ears can be increased or decreased. To do this, you just need to add rows to knitting or cut.

The second ear is performed identically to the first.

Step 3: Finishing the hat

Sew on the ears:

Fold the ear in half and sew the opposite sides together. But it must be taken into account that the upper part of the ear should be slightly larger than the lower one. We sew it to the hat, hiding each seam. The seams are performed with a simple needle with a matching thread. We fix the second ear in the same way.

Sewing buttons:

Buttons are sewn with simple stitches. We hide all the knots on the wrong side of the cap.

Embroider the nose and mustache:

We embroider the nose with a simple stitch, with a slight overlap of stitches. In the central part of the nose, we perform additional upper stitches, for a greater bulge of our nose.

The mustache is done with long stitches. We fasten the thread well and cut it off.

What a beauty! A crochet hat will charm your baby, and if the child is happy, then mom is also happy.

Undoubtedly, a hat is an indispensable attribute of the wardrobe of any person, including a child. But, as you know, not all children like to wear them. And their reasons for this are very diverse: it’s hot, it’s prickly, they don’t like it, Vasya’s (Petya, Dasha’s) is prettier ... Therefore, we suggest you knit with your own hands such a hat that will suit your capricious in all respects.

Before we start knitting a demi-season hat "Bunny", we will prepare everything necessary tools and materials, namely: hook No. 2, any yarn intended for knitting little things for children (not prickly) of two colors - blue and light blue, a needle with floss threads, a centimeter tape for measuring the size of the baby's head to determine the depth of the cap and its circumference, ready-made embroidered eyes, jeans yarn or iris for knitting a spout.

From the "children's" yarn " of blue color we collect four or five air loops.

We connect the first and last loop of the knitted chain into a ring using a connecting post.

We will knit the base of the cap with double crochets, so to go to the second row we knit three air loops, after which we knit a series of single crochet stitches in a circle, additionally knitting one more loop in each loop, that is, in each loop of the chain there should be 2 column with one crochet.

We knit the second row in a similar pattern as the first, only in this case we already make additions every two or three loops.

The rest of the rows are knitted in the same way. In total, you should have seven rows (for a hat for a five-year-old child with a circumference. Heads 52 cm). If the baby's head circumference is smaller, then these rows should also be smaller.

The circle you knitted should cover the top of the baby. Only after that we will begin to “roll up” the hat in order to move on to its sides. In order to “fold” it, it is enough just to stop adding loops, that is, not to knit extra double crochets. Just keep in mind that in this case your hat will “fold” more smoothly compared to if you knit the base with single crochets. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the size of the hat matches the size of the child's head.

Further, as usual, we knit columns with one crochet in a circle, “fixing” the rows with a connecting column. The depth of the cap should be sufficient, that is, the line of the edge of the cap should be at least at the level of the temples.

We tear off the thread.

Since the hat is autumn-spring, ears should be made so that in windy weather the baby's ears can close. To do this, fold the base in half and mark with a felt-tip pen the point where the “ears” of the cap should begin. If it is possible to try on a hat on a child, then this point will approximately be at the level of the temples. We mark the obtained points on both sides. In the photograph, the indicated point is shown with a hook.

We take the base of the hat from the front side and knit a row of double crochets (20 loops) from the point marked for the “ears”.

We knit 3 air loops for lifting, turn the base and again knit a row of columns with one crochet. The next 6 rows are knitted similarly. The number of rows may vary depending on the desired length of the "ears".

We do the same with the other ear.

The ears of the hare are already knitted a little differently: we collect 40 air loops.

We make 3 more loops for lifting and we knit columns with one crochet, first to the end of the row of the chain, then on the last loop we knit 5 columns with a crochet, which will allow us to go to the opposite side of the chain, and then we knit the row with double crochets to the end.

We turn the eyelet, knit loops for lifting, and then repeat the steps when knitting the first row and in the second row, only we add loops at the tip of the eyelet 3 times - at the very tip and two on the sides.

We knit the rest of the rows in the same way. The more rows you get, the wider the hare's ear will be.

The inner part of the eyelet is knitted in the same way, only in this case the width of the part should be one row less than the outer part of the eyelet.

We sew the smaller part to the larger one with a needle and thread.

Now we wrap the lower corners of the ear to the front side of the part, grabbing the edges a little, and then carefully sew the edges with a thread.

We do the same with the second ear.

We knit the nose of the bunny as follows: we collect five air loops from the Jeans yarn, and then we tie the resulting chain in a circle with single crochets, making additions at the ends so that the oval remains flat.

Surely every child has his own home nickname - Mouse, Teddy Bear, Baby, Cat. But among this "zoo", undoubtedly, the leaders are Bunnies and Bunnies. Let's please our bunnies with a new new thing in the form of a cute plush bunny.

Hat "Bunny" crochet

Tools and materials that we will need in the process of creating a hat:

  • plush yarn "Softy" blue and white;
  • hook;
  • scissors;
  • thread and needle;
  • centimeter tape.

First of all, we measure the circumference of the child's head. We remember the data or write them down on a piece of paper. If you do not have a "model" on hand for regular fitting, it is recommended to use instead balloon, inflated to the required size, which will allow you to knit a hat of the required parameters.

As soon as we figured out the sizes, we begin to knit the base of the cap. To do this, we take blue yarn and collect 5 air loops.
(photo 2)

We connect the ends of the resulting chain into a ring with a connecting loop.
(photo 3)

Now let's start knitting rows of columns with one crochet in a circle. In the first and second row in each loop we make an addition so that the top of the cap is flat.
(photo 4)

And, starting from the third row, we reduce the addition of loops a little, making them already through the loop. This will prevent the top of the hat from curling up and at the same time not going “waves”.
Next, we gradually reduce the number of additions, while periodically trying on knitting on a “model” or on a balloon. We make sure that the hat has a rounded shape, so it will look better on the baby.
In each row, reducing the additions, we get a knitting that resembles a plate.
(photo 5)

As soon as the back of the child's head is completely covered with our knitting, we stop adding loops and begin to knit single crochets without additions and decreases. As a result, the hat will automatically acquire desired shape child's head. We knit rows of columns with one crochet to the level of the upper tips of the ears of the “model”. We tear off the thread at the end of the row.
(photo 6)

Next, we attach the white yarn to the point of separation of the blue yarn and knit 3 rows of double crochets, not forgetting to hide the tip of the blue yarn under the loops at the beginning of knitting. After knitting the rows, tear off the thread again and hide it.
(photo 7)

Now fold the cap in half, as shown in the previous photo, and count six loops from the left corner of the cap on front side and attach the yarn.
(a photo

We knit 12 columns with a crochet.
(photo 9)

We turn the knitting and knit a row of double crochets again. And so 3-4 times, until the ear of the cap is the length we need.
(photo 10)

We knit the last row of ears like this: we knit single crochets to the middle, and then we knit 25-30 air loops.
(photo 11)

Now we knit single crochets along the resulting chain to the beginning of the chain of air loops.
(photo 12)

After that, we knit the last row of the ear, at the end again tearing off the yarn and hiding its tip under the loops.
(photo 13)

Now put the base aside and start knitting bunny ears. We collect 30 air loops + 3 loops.
(photo 14)

We knit double crochets to the end of the row, and on the last loop of the chain we knit 5 double crochets at once, after which we continue to knit loops, only on the other side of the chain.
(photo 15)

The double crochet fan in the last stitch will look like this:
(photo 16)

Next, we turn the knitting and knit the double crochets in the opposite direction, making additions when moving to the other side. And so we knit 4-5 rows.
(photo 17)

After that, we tie the edge of the ear with white yarn, leave the straight edge without tying.
(photo 18)

Now fold the lower corners of the ears as shown in the photo and sew them together.

We sew the ears to the base of the hat and admire our creation))).
