Knitting a traffic light with knitting needles. Master Class. Craft from colored yarn, crochet “Traffic light. Asterisk on a cap

Hello dear craftswomen! I want to present to you my first toy, crocheted- for the competition kindergarten. It knits very quickly, 2 days, it turns out large - 50 cm. Below is a mini-master class, and a description of how this traffic light fits.

For work we need: yarn of the following colors (I took the cheapest, unnamed, we have it costs 24 rubles per 1 skein, a hook (I took 3.5, but you can take 4), a needle for sewing traffic lights, synthetic winterizer or cotton wool for stuffing, thick cardboard (I took from furniture packaging).

Here is a yarn. Of course I don't detailed master class, so if the moderators delete the master class entry, I won’t be offended. So, let's start knitting.

Cast on 20 air loops and tie 2 canvases with single crochets with a turn, the first is a lifting loop, 19 single crochets. They knitted 1 row, turned the knitting over, continue - 1 - lifting air loop, 19 single crochet. Thus we knit 42 rows. We fix, we break the thread. We knit 2 such fabrics. I got 30 cm in size. Then we collect 12 air loops. We knit - 1 - lifting air loop, 11 single crochet. We knit similarly, 42 rows. We fix, we cut the thread. We knit 2 fabrics. Then we collect 20 air loops, we knit 12 rows in the same way. We fix, we cut the thread. We knit 2 such fabrics. In total we have: 2 canvases with a width of 20 air loops, 42 rows, 2 canvases with a width of 12 air loops, 42 rows, 2 canvases with a width of 20 air loops, 12 rows. We knit a band: we collect 64 air loops, and we knit 3 rows: 1 - an air lifting loop, 63 columns without a crochet.
Next, we knit traffic lights according to the following pattern:
4 air loops, close into a ring.
We knit in a ring: 1st row: 1 ch. lifting, 5 columns b / n.
2nd row: ch 1 lifting, 1 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 2 st b / n, increase *, repeat 2 times.
We get 9 loops.
3rd row: ch 1 lifting, 2 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 3 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 12 loops.
4th row: ch 1 lifting, 3 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 4 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 15 loops.
5th row: ch 1 lifting, 4 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 5 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 18 loops.
6th row: ch 1 lifting, 5 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 6 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 21 loops.
7th row: ch 1 lifting, 6 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 7 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 24 loops.
8th row: ch 1 lift, 7 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 8 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 27 loops.
9th row: ch 1 lift, 8 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 9 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 30 loops.
10th row: ch 1 lifting, 9 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 10 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 33 loops.
11th row: ch 1 lift, 10 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 11 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 36 loops.
12th row: ch 1 lifting, 11 tbsp. b / n, increase, * 12 tbsp. b / n, increase, repeat 2 times *.
We get 39 loops.
I hope I described clearly. Due to this addition, traffic light signals are convex. We knit 3 signals - red, yellow and green.

I connected the resulting blue parts with connecting posts - the bottom and 4 sides.

Then we lay out the bottom of the resulting future traffic light and the side walls with cardboard cut to size.

We fill it with cotton wool or padding polyester, put another cardboard cut out to fit the lid on top. We tie the lid along the contour with connecting posts. And then also, with connecting posts, we tie our band to the cap. The traffic light will turn out as if in a hat. We stuff the traffic light signals with cotton wool or synthetic winterizer and sew them with threads in the color of the signals to the traffic light in the correct order. As a result, we get such a traffic light.

Back view.

Next, I took a plastic water pipe (you can use any stick, thick enough to hold our traffic light). I picked up 3 ch on the hook, closed it in a ring, tied the bottom of the tube, 1st row - 6 tbsp. b / n, with increments in each row of 1 tbsp. b / n - I got 10 tbsp. b / n, but this is individual, depending on the thickness of the stick or tube. In the next row, I again made 1 increase, as a result, I got 11 tbsp. b/n. Thus, she tied the required number of rows - 1 c. lifting item, 10 tbsp. b / n, close in a ring. Then, having knitted the number of rows required along the length of the tube, slightly increased the knitting circle (in order to make the traffic light better and more stable, I knitted several rows (I got 5) with 2 increments for each row. I made a neat cut in the middle of the bottom with scissors traffic light, (we cut through the cardboard too), insert our pipe (I got about 10cm not crocheted), and tie it with connecting posts to the bottom.

It turns out here is such a traffic light. If you have time (I didn’t have it), you can stick funny eyes on our traffic light, tie a small pompom for the spout with red thread, and also make a base. I planned to do this (unfortunately, I didn’t have time, because the work had to be handed in today), but there was no gypsum at home): cover the bottom of a bowl with a diameter of 20 cm with oilcloth, pour 4 cm thick gypsum, insert our traffic light. Then, the support obtained after hardening, align the section. sandpaper, also tie it in blue, or you can paint it. In a similar way, gypsum coasters are made near bead trees.

They are treated very carefully. They try to avoid them, prefer not to meet with them. But it is the traffic police that ensure safety on the road, even just by their presence. Don't let yourself relax, so to speak. But if you never break the rules, do not exceed the speed limit, just tie up such a wonderful and kind GAI officer. It will protect you from bribes and illegal actions by representatives of the State traffic inspectorate. Such a knitted traffic police officer will also be a wonderful gift for the traffic police themselves, as well as for motorists. I am sure that it will perfectly decorate the interior of any car and make even the most severe traffic inspector smile. Happy knitting!
