Aircraft from plastic bottles. Options for making airplanes from bottles. Propeller and tail keel

For those who don't know, PET beer or soda bottles have a very interesting feature- they shrink when heated like heat shrink tubing. Thanks to this feature, various blanks for homemade products can be made from this material. Due to their lightness and availability, PET bottles are successfully used in the construction of model aircraft.

The most convenient way to make a fuselage for an airplane in this way. The most difficult thing here is the manufacture of a blank, but then an unlimited number of blanks can be made from it.

Materials and tools for homemade:
- hot air gun or gas stove (for heating PET);
- PET bottles;
- wooden beam (for the manufacture of blanks);
- tools for woodworking (hacksaw, sandpaper, etc.);
- PVA glue;
- scissors;
- glue Moment;
- paint, brush (and other materials for finishing the model).

The process of making homemade:

Step one. We make a blank
The blank will act as a template (form), PET will envelop it when heated and take on its shape. Creating a blank is the most complex and painstaking process here. Here you will need four bars, which are then glued together with PVA glue. When the glue dries, all come into play necessary tools for woodworking. As a result, after some effort, a blank will be created.

Step two. bottle upset
It is very easy to upset the bottle, the main thing is to choose the right size for the blank. The bottom of the bottle is cut off and then a blank is inserted into it. Now PET can be heated, it is most convenient to use a building hair dryer. The bottle must be heated evenly so that it embraces the blank from all sides.

As for the neck, it should be placed in the place where the engine will be located. Subsequently, the neck is carefully cut off and appearance the fuselage is not damaged.

Depending on the size of the model, it may take 2 or more bottles to create a fuselage.

Step three. The final stage. Removing the workpiece and assembling the model
Now the workpiece must be removed from the blank. For these purposes, you need to make a cut from below and then remove the blank from the future fuselage. But it is best to foresee everything in such a way that you do not have to make many cuts in the PET, that is, take into account the tapering shape of the fuselage. Then the parts are glued together with Moment glue. Bonding points must first be well treated with sandpaper and degreased.

As for fixing the servos and the receiver, they are glued to the fuselage wall. They must first be wrapped with paper tape.

To install the wings, embedded parts with nuts are glued into the workpiece or plastic dowels are used.

An interesting fact is that a model made using this technology does not require a rigid frame. It is only necessary to strengthen the frame in the place where you will take the model with your hand. Here you can glue a couple of layers of ceilings or semi-spagnout.

Then the model can be painted, for such purposes acrylic, spray paint and so on are perfect. Before painting, the model must be made matte with sandpaper so that the paint adheres well to it. Also, don't forget to degrease.

To make a wing, you will need a sheet of foam, the wing is cut out of it with a string. After gluing the spar, the wing is covered with adhesive tape. Homemade can be done on one spar, following the example, or using ribs and spar as on

Making this craft will not take you much time, and the low level of complexity will allow you to include in the process and interest even a child preschool age. It is worth preparing a plastic bottle in advance. The model from a colored bottle looks more beautiful. As for the dimensions, in general, any volume will do: the dimensions of the aircraft and, of course, the dimensions of the parts will simply depend on it.

To make a plastic plane, we need:
plastic bottle,
scissors,
colored cardboard,
simple pencil,
ruler.

First of all, we draw patterns for future wings. For an airplane from a one and a half liter bottle, wings with a length of 21 cm, a width of 6 and 8 cm are ideal. The wing expands to the attachment point. If the width of the cardboard allows, then one solid wing can be made according to the same parameters. We draw the wings located at the rear of the aircraft with a length of 10 cm and a width of 7 and 5 cm, respectively. We prepare each of the details in 2 copies.

At the next stage, we cut out the already drawn details.

Now you need to draw and cut out the propeller. The main attention should be paid to its central part, in which it will be attached to the main part of the aircraft. Therefore, we first circle the bottle cap and draw two rounded blades from the resulting circle. The approximate length of each is 8 cm.

Cut out the blade and cut a hole in it.

Now we “string” our propeller on the neck of the bottle and fix it by screwing on the cap.

We make cuts in the bottle into which we will insert the wings. The width of the notches should be equal to the width of the wing at the attachment point. Then the parts will hold tight without additional means of fastening. Otherwise, we advise you to glue the cardboard with plastic with special glue.

At the last stage, we insert cardboard parts into ready-made cuts.

Here is our craft and ready.

Now you can allow the kid, at his discretion, to decorate the finished plane with gouache or acrylic paints, and after a while to master the manufacture of a plastic box for small parts.

Children can easily make airplanes with their own hands. Crafts can be made from the usual plastic bottle. You should carefully read about how to do it right and do this exciting and useful thing with your child.

Sometimes parents notice when they are walking with their children, for example in the park, the children, taking some incomprehensible object, play with it, imagining that it is a car or, say, an airplane or a boat. And most importantly, they like this game. This suggests a certain thought, why not help the child in the construction of his own hand-made toy. For him, it will be both informative and exciting. A toy as such can be made from almost anything: glued from paper, carved from wood, sewn from material, then stuffed with sawdust. Ships are great from foam. But this article is about how to make an airplane out of a plastic bottle and cardboard.

For the manufacture of the aircraft will need some materials:

One plastic bottle (you can take one liter so that the plane is not bulky), pencil (they will need to draw the main parts), cardboard (future wings and propeller), knife and scissors. So, making a toy airplane out of a plastic bottle is very simple. On a cardboard sheet, you need to draw the wings of an airplane and a propeller. The width of the wing should be about 1/3 based on the length, but you can draw it as you wish (the main thing is that the length of one wing should not be more than the plane itself). Next, you need to lean the neck of the bottle against the cardboard and circle it. Around the resulting circle, with a slightly larger diameter, you need to draw another one, so that you get a kind of ring, and take two blades from it in opposite directions. This is the propeller. You can also draw a few blades and cut them out with scissors. Ready. For reliability, you can wrap the whole thing with tape.

The next step is to insert the wings into the bottle. Approximately in the middle of its length, two holes are cut in parallel with the width of the wings of the future aircraft. After that, the wings are pulled through these slots. The bottle should be right in the middle of the wings. This is very important, so you need to carefully determine the center.

Craft - an airplane from a plastic bottle can be of any color, depending on the color of the material. You can discuss this issue with the child in advance and after that, purchase a plastic bottle of the desired color. And you can even make several planes of different colors.

The propeller is put on the neck of the bottle and pushed through the thread. Next, the lid is screwed on. Now you need to cut a hole in the center above the wings and put the pilot in it (at the request of the child). You can also decorate the plane. To do this, you can show all your imagination and make an unusual model.

To make the plane more believable, you can stick wheels taken, for example, from an old broken car, to the bottom of the bottle with adhesive tape. After successfully attaching the wheels, you can take paper glue, previously diluted with a little water and a little paper. You need to tear it into small pieces, and dipping it in diluted glue, alternately stick it all over the plane. After this procedure, leave the structure to dry.

Decorate the dried plane with paints. You can tie a rope to the neck if you wish. You can also attach a tail, or by reducing the width of the wings, add another pair of them. You can also use a smaller bottle, or, conversely, a larger one. And even better for the baby, it's to get several planes of different sizes to play at once. Starting from the smallest, which can be made from, say, a small yogurt bottle, to the largest, the size of a five-liter can of water. They also need to be painted in different colors.

Thinking well, and having acquired all the necessary tools and materials, you can come up with a unique aircraft, and most importantly, no extra costs. By creating a semblance of store toys with their child from improvised materials, parents will not only pay attention to the child, but also save their time and money by choosing such items in stores.

Learning how to make an airplane craft is easy enough. You do not need to have any special knowledge and skills, because it is so simple that the child, once looking at how the process is going on, can easily cope without outside help.

Airplane - craft from waste material will be an exemplary indicator of the fruitful work of parents and the child. You can put this item in the most prominent place in the child's room so that he can look at the result of his work and admire it.

Children need to be engaged more often, doing various crafts. This makes it possible to develop diversified, think well, think and implement the plan. Any child will be happy to do interesting things with their parents.

An airplane is an air machine that conquers the atmosphere of the globe, capable of flying over mountains and oceans at crazy speed. Almost every boy dreams of being a pilot, conquering the heavens and having, if not a collection, then at least one airplane. The number of toy aircraft is very large. We suggest you start making an airplane from a plastic bottle. This the simplest master class will bring pleasure to you and your children and give a wonderful model of an aircraft made from improvised materials.

For self-construction of an aircraft from a plastic bottle, you will need the following materials:

  • Colored plastic bottle (green, grey, blue, etc.). Choose the size of the aircraft yourself, it depends on the volume of the bottle that you will take to work;
  • Colored cardboard;
  • Pencil, ruler;
  • Stationery knife;
  • Scissors.

1. Take cardboard, decide what color you want to see the wings and tail of the aircraft. Having chosen the color you want, draw on this sheet of cardboard two wings and details of the tail of the aircraft. The size of the wings should match the size of the bottle. So if a 1.5 liter bottle has a height of 32 centimeters, then the wings should be more than half the height of the bottle, about 20 centimeters. And the details of the tail should be half the length of the wings, about 10 centimeters, while the two tail blanks will be the same size, while the third blank should be thinner than the previous two.

2. Cut out the drawn details of the aircraft with scissors.

4. Use scissors to cut out the propeller.

5. Cut a hole in the center of the propeller.

6. Put the finished propeller on the neck of the bottle and secure it with the bottle cap.

7. With a knife, make cuts in the bottle in the places where the blanks of the wings and tail of the aircraft will be attached. The width of the cuts should be equal to the width of the cardboard blanks so that the parts hold well. If the blanks do not hold tight, secure them with glue.

8. Insert the blanks of aircraft parts into the finished cuts.

A very easy-to-make airplane craft from a plastic bottle is ready! If desired, the bottle can be pasted over with colored paper, decorated with paints, and you can also add portholes or any other decor for your air machine.

Most parents every day more and more often make various DIY crafts for their children. Surely each of you has seen a child who, holding an incomprehensible object in his hand, imagines that it is acceptable, an airplane, a car, a rocket, or something similar.

Actually, probably everyone in childhood imagined the same thing. It is in this regard that parents make crafts with their children, and sometimes not only children like this activity. Also, for the manufacture of any toy, you can use almost any material that is in your house. For instance, you can make a plane out of plastic bottles.

Craft a plane with your own hands

You will also need another bottle, which will serve to create the tail and wings. But these elements can also be made of cardboard. In any case, you will also need scissors, a knife, glue. You may need a pencil for marking.

Stock up on a lot of cardboard, as the child may want a propeller plane. In order to build a plane with wings, make a couple of cuts on the sides of the bottle and insert pre-made wings there.

Do the same with the tail. There can be no recommendations regarding the color of the aircraft, it all depends on you and your child.

If you have an old car that has been idle for a long time, then disassemble it, remove the wheels, and attach it to the craft for credibility. For this you need glue.
