Like it or not, the most important thing in a bathrobe is not the style, but the fabric from which it is sewn. There are many bathrobes, and a wide variety of materials are used for their cut, but it is worth highlighting a few that are suitable for home wear and will show themselves in use in the best way.

Terry bathrobe for the shower and after waking up

Bathrobe- a trend that does not lose its relevance at all times. Truly, this is a universal option that is suitable for both in the morning and after a shower, and will also warm you in winter.

The first advantage of a terry dressing gown for the home is naturalness. Due to its fleecy surface, terry cloth is soft, breathable, absorbs moisture well, which means that it will be warm in a terry bathrobe at home, but it will not be hot, and after a shower it will quickly absorb excess moisture and warm the steamed body. It is also comfortable, and can easily hide figure flaws.

In addition, such a bathrobe can be taken with you to the bath or sauna. Mahra, as a natural material, allows the body to relax and does not cause allergies.

Terry is based on natural fibers of cotton, linen or bamboo. As a rule, pure cotton is more often used, and in modern, more expensive models, fibers of the other two types are added to it. Such gowns are more durable, do not stretch, with a more resistant color. In addition, flax and bamboo contain natural substances that act as an antiseptic. In this regard, a bathrobe with bamboo or linen in the composition does not absorb odors, and stays clean and fresh longer.

Often, polyester fibers - synthetics - are added to natural cotton in terry. Synthetic additives in the composition make bathrobe inexpensive, but more durable and resistant to wear than pure cotton. Of course, a bathrobe made of 100% natural materials is the standard of comfort, but if the low price of a bathrobe is important to you, you can safely choose a mixture with synthetics, the main thing is that it should not be more than 40% in the total amount.

Most bathrobes for everyday home wear contain polyester, but only natural fabrics are in trend with top manufacturers - they should be chosen if quality is important to you in all aspects.

There are several types of mahr:

  • Normal (single) - the villi are located on the front side of the fabric;
  • Bilateral - there are villi on both the front and the wrong side.

The villi themselves can be in the form of loops, be cut or twisted, and also have different lengths and densities. The peak of comfort is a dressing gown made of double-sided terry cloth with twisted fibers. In such a dressing gown, it is warm, as well as the villi have a slight massage effect. Sheared terry is smoother, but this fabric is thinner.

In terms of density, the best option is 400-500 g / m 2. A less dense fabric will not provide the desired comfort and softness, and will also fray, stretch and wear out faster. Terry bathrobes are also suitable for children. And the shorter the villi, the longer the clothes will look neat.

Silk dressing gown - the secret of femininity

Silk bathrobe- a unique thing for real seductresses. Such a dress subtly repeats the curves of the female body, and makes the image light and sexy.

It is worth remembering that silk is a natural material. The fabric is thin, but at the same time it remains especially durable. Silk bathrobes are best for summer wear - the fabric will also give a feeling of freshness and coolness.

The surface of the silk robe is extremely delicate. The natural sheen of the fabric will give the image an extraordinary lightness and sophistication. Such bathrobes are expensive, due to the special properties of the fabric and their sophistication.

An alternative replacement for a synthetic silk robe is satin. In appearance, its fabric has a more subdued sheen. Nevertheless, if you are going to wear a bathrobe for a long time throughout the day, it is still better to pay more, but choose natural silk - breathable, moderately keeping warm and fresh.

Cotton - it's all about simplicity

Cotton clothing is the most famous, since ancient times. This is exactly what you need for a simple and comfortable home dressing gown. The fabric is thin and light, and also strong enough, and does not require special whimsical care.

Homemade dressing gowns of various styles are sewn from cotton - with a zipper, with a smell and with buttons, long and short. Cotton is easily dyed, so you can easily choose your favorite cotton bathrobe among many colors.

The fabric breathes, does not irritate the skin, and perfectly absorbs moisture. The disadvantage is that during the first wash, the bathrobe may “sit down” a little in size, and also wrinkle relatively easily.

Today, cotton fibers are constantly being upgraded for making dressing gowns, and there are already several varieties of it - hydrocotton (which absorbs more moisture, is suitable for those who wear a cotton bathrobe after a shower), organic cotton (which is grown without the use of pesticides, insecticides and any chemical additives and fertilizers - a great option for children, allergy sufferers and owners of sensitive skin), micro-cotton (based on cotton microfibers - bathrobes of increased softness and hygroscopicity).

There is one type of cotton dressing gown for women that has been popular and known for decades - calico. A cotton robe is good for wearing at home in the summer - it will certainly not be hot in it. The fabric is natural - based on cotton threads, with chintz weaving. Because the fabric breathes well.

Of course, compared to others, chintz fabric is wiped faster, shrinks and sheds in hot water over 60 degrees, but if there is a little linen or polyester in the dressing gown, then such difficulties will be excluded.

Bamboo fibers for special skin

Bamboo fabric is increasingly appearing on the textile market. Many have already managed to test the quality of bamboo towels on themselves, and now they began to sew and terry dressing gowns.

Unlike the natural characteristics of this plant, which becomes tough when ripe, bamboo house robes- Surprisingly soft and shiny. The properties of such a bathrobe practically do not differ from terry cotton, but at the same time such a product is many times better, more practical and durable.

Bamboo robe, except for everyday wear, especially useful when you need to wrap up after taking a bath or shower. Bamboo fibers absorb almost twice as much moisture as cotton. Such a bathrobe will not stretch even after 50 washes, and will remain just as bright.

And most importantly, what cotton does not have - bamboo contains antiseptic substances, and therefore does not accumulate odors, and also prevents the development of pathogens and fungus. In this regard, a bamboo bathrobe is a godsend for asthmatics and people prone to allergies. It is also worth adding here that bathrobes made of bamboo in white, beige and brown colors are not dyed, since this is precisely the natural range of shades of natural fiber.

Synthetic fabrics in bathrobes

Despite the fact that previously priority was given to natural fabrics in everything, synthetic ones are now almost along with products made from natural fabrics. And for good reason - synthetics are not "only flaws", as everyone used to think. It has its own advantages and features that are not inherent, for example, natural cotton.

Modern manufacturers are constantly upgrading and improving synthetic fibers. Also, compared to a few decades ago, a lot of new artificial fabrics have appeared, from which everything is sewn, and even bathrobes.

Synthetics are a cheaper alternative to natural products, and are often the ones that give durability and make robes easy to care for. Of course, the disadvantage of a synthetic bathrobe will be less breathability than cotton, but manufacturers know about this, and therefore, believe it or not, you can also find a synthetic bathrobe for the home, which will be quite comfortable to wear.

Polyester

By itself, such a fabric is not used for sewing bathrobes, but is often added to the composition to make the product more practical and keep its shape. The material passes air quite well, so you should not be afraid of a relatively small percentage of it in the composition of the fabric of the dressing gown. Such fibers do not cause allergies, because home bathrobe with polyester in the composition, you can buy even children.

Modal and viscose

This is a derivative of the well-known viscose, in fact, it contains the same fibers, but more durable, which is important for home-wear dressing gowns. By the way, the composition of such a fabric is natural, but the fibers are formed artificially. Interestingly, viscose is particularly hygienic, and therefore from viscose and modal you can buy children's bathrobe.

A viscose home dressing gown is suitable for everyday use, and is probably the most popular among women. It is unusually light, delicate and soft, and its hygroscopicity is up to 1.5 times higher than that of cotton. The fabric is breathable, flexible, therefore it does not stretch, and also does not shed or lose color.

Modal, due to its durability, is also added to natural cotton fiber when sewing home dressing gowns.

microfiber

A microfiber home dressing gown can be called an analogue of natural terry cloth, since in appearance it very much resembles it. The difference in composition is that microfiber is made from polyester threads. Polyester in this application, being in its pure form, is the most relevant among home clothing. Thanks to the fleecy structure, their microfiber bathrobe retains heat well, lets air through, and also remains soft.

After washing, such a dressing gown will quickly become dry, but you can’t dry it on a radiator and iron it - high temperature is contraindicated for this fabric.

Knitwear

Knitted dressing gown- Another common option among home clothes. The fabric for such robes is woven on a special knitting machine, and has a distinctive weave of all fabrics. The composition can be natural and synthetic fibers of different varieties - cotton, linen, wool, lycra, polyester, viscose, etc.

The main feature of the knitted dressing gown is that it stretches perfectly in all directions, and easily returns to its previous shape. This feature is achieved thanks to a special weaving of the fabric.

Home knitted bathrobe stays soft all the time. The fabric is light and pleasant. It is better to wash such clothes with softening conditioner - so pellets will not form on the surface of the dressing gown.

There are many high-quality cozy bathrobes for the home, and a model that matches both in color and style will also form a successful image. So why not wear bathrobes? Let there be more comfort at home!

BATHROBE WITH A BIG COLLAR

On fig. 118 shows a home dressing gown with a large one-piece collar and a patch pocket. The line of the collar edge and the top of the pocket are trimmed with colored trim and soutache to match the fabric. Soutache can be replaced with embossed stitching with colored threads.
Short one-piece sleeves. The dressing gown along the waist line is uncut. A belt is sewn into the front tuck on the waist line on the right side of the front, tied on the left side of the front with a bow. The fabric is cotton or silk. Fabric consumption for medium size 4.75 m with a width of 63 cm.

Drawing lines of the style and preparing the pattern

Prepare a dress pattern with one-piece sleeves and an undercut along the armhole line (see Fig. 117). On this pattern, draw the lines of the style.
Back. From the line of the hips, draw a vertical line of the valley of the bottom of the dress (Fig. 119, a).
Before. Continue the line of the bottom of the dress to the right by 15 - 18 cm (Fig. 119, b). Set aside 2 cm along the hip line from the middle of the front to the right. From the bottom point of the neck through point 2, draw a straight line to the bottom of the dress and put point H at the intersection. The straight line drawn will be the new middle of the front (the middle of the front is moved so that the floors do not diverge).
Board decoration. From the neckline, lay down the new middle of the front 4 cm. Perpendicular to the middle of the front, lay 8 cm from point 4 to the right, along the waist line - 7.5 cm, along the bottom of the dress from point H - 8 cm. Distance from point 4 to the waist line divide in half and set aside 10 cm to the right from the division point. Connect points 8, 10 and 7.5 with a smooth line. Points 7.5; 8 (on the bottom line) connect with a straight line.
Construction of a one-piece collar. Set aside 16 cm from the lower point of the neck to the right. Set aside 7 cm from the upper point of the neck along the shoulder to the left (1/3 of the semicircle of the neck plus 1 cm).
From point 7, set aside upwards perpendicular to the shoulder line 5 cm. Connect points 5 and B1 with a straight line. From point 5, draw a straight line 15 cm long upwards at a right angle to line 5B1. Connect points 15 and 1b with an auxiliary line, which is divided into three equal parts and set aside from the obtained division points to the right by 3 cm. Connect points 15, 3, 3 and 16 with a smooth line, points 16 and 8 - a straight line.
Pickup. From point B1, set aside 4 cm on the shoulder to the left. Connect points 4 and T with an auxiliary line. Below this point, the width of the headband is equal to the width of the bead.
Translation of the chest tuck. Draw a straight line down from the left side of the tuck on the shoulder line
parallel to the right side of the tuck, lengthening it 2 cm below the line of the circumference of the chest. Measure the depth of the tuck along the shoulder line. Set aside the resulting size along the shoulder to the left of the drawn straight line and put point B2.
Draw a straight line from point 2 through point B2 equal to the length of the right tuck line. Connect the end of this line at the top with a straight line to the bottom of the sleeve.
Divide the side line of the bodice into three equal parts. Connect the upper division point and point 2 with a dotted line, which will be the transfer line of the tuck.
Draw a vertical line from the hips to the bottom of the dress.
Pocket. On the right side of the first tuck on the waist line, lay down 6 cm. From point b to the left, draw a straight line 17 cm long parallel to the waist line.
From points 17 and b at right angles lay down 20 cm; connect points 17, 20, 20, 6, we get a rectangle. From the lower corners of the rectangle, draw lines 2 cm long, dividing the right angles in half. Through points 2, 2 draw the bottom of the pocket with a smooth line.
Pattern preparation. Transfer pocket and collar collar to tracing paper. Cut the hem along the waist line. Cut off the braces on the sides. Close the chest tuck along the shoulder line and transfer along the tuck transfer line.

Layout and cutting

Fold the fabric in half the face with the face along the shared thread. Put the middle of the back to the fold of the fabric (Fig. 120).
Put the upper part of the selection in the middle of the front along the shared thread. Cut out the back and hem. Fold the remaining fabric face to face, with a fold along the transverse thread.
Put the middle of the front along the shared thread.
Put the rest of the details...

Introduction

A bathrobe is a comfortable, practical everyday item that each of us has. According to the dictionary of V.I. Dalia (1) dressing gown - indoor, home wide clothing of oriental cut. The fashion for bathrobes came to us from the East at the endXVIIcentury, where they were the main clothing. The word itself comes from the Arabic word "hil'at" - "dress of honor." Perhaps the origin of the word just determines why our ancestors respected this element of the home wardrobe. It was even allowed to meet guests in a bathrobe: “Do not receive guests of honor in a torn bathrobe!” (Kozma Prutkov). Among many Asian peoples, a richly decorated male robe serves as a symbol of social status. The more worthy a person, the richer his robe.

As the main home wear, the bathrobe came into use first in Europe, and then in Russia. At that time, the bathrobe rightfully occupied an honorable place in the wardrobe of every person. For a long time in Europe, the robe was a symbol of relaxation, idleness and laziness. This is where the expression came from - “negligently treat something”, in other words, irresponsibly, with disdain to treat the matter. Sources of folk wisdom invest in the concept of "robe" the meaning of not only laziness, but also a prolonged internal illness. “If you take off your bathrobe, then fatigue will also be removed,” says folk wisdom. The meaning of this symbol begins to expand in the 19th century:a poet's robe, a sloth's robe, a robe like fate, "ha“plate” way of life, a dressing gown as an attribute of a lordly life, life as a “worn out dressing gown”.

An archetype is a way of connecting images that pass from generation to generation. Archetypes set the general structure of the personality and the sequence of images that pop up in the mind when creative activity awakens, so spiritual life bears an archetypal imprint. Jung saw in them a formative principle present in the psyche of every person. The set of archetypes is limited; they underlie creativity and contribute to the internal unity of human culture, make possible the interconnection of different epochs of development and mutual understanding of people (2, p. 12).

In this research work, based on the extensive material of N.M. Yazykova, P.A. Vyazemsky, I.A. Goncharov, an attempt was made to prove that in Russian literature the image of a dressing gown acquires the qualities of an archetype.

N. Yazykov's poem "To the dressing gown"

How I love you, robe!

Clothing of idleness and laziness,

Companion of Secret Delights

And poetic delights!

Let the servants of Areya

Their tight livery is sweet;

I am free with the body, as with the soul.

From the age of our infection,

From life swearing and empty

I am healed - and peace be with me!

Kings of leprosy and orders

Do not spoil my youth -

And my days are like me in a dressing gown,

A hundred times more captivating days

The king who lives inopportunely.

Night sky president

The moon shines golden;

The worldly vanity fell asleep -

The thinking student does not sleep:

Despising blind light noise,

He laughs, in delighted thoughts,

Above modern Herostratus;

He is not seen in dreams

Daggers of Zand and Louvel,

And our glory is empty

An exalted soul is not afraid.

A simple chubuk in his mouth,

Before him, sadly burning,

There is a non-wax candle;

Carelessly, proudly he sits

With the dreams of a living genius -

And a patient tailor

Thank you for your coat!

PoemVyazemsky P. A. "Farewell to the bathrobe"

Sorry robe! an idle comrade of bliss,
Leisure friend, witness of secret thoughts!
With you I knew the monotonous world,
But a quiet world where lights shine and noise
It didn't occur to me in oblivion.
The art of living is an undereducated schoolboy,
In the field of customs and fashion,
Where whim-king tyrannizes his people,
Who didn't wag? In the living room I'm a slave
In my corner I am master,
Your height is not measured by someone else's arshin.
Like a miserable slave paying tribute to the villain,
And day and night, exhaust yourself in captivity,
Tastes paradise, freed from bonds,
So, pulling off the shoulders of the living room livery
And with her the yoke of exacting vanity,
I came to life when, dressed in a bathrobe,
Reconciled again with the abandoned Penat;
With you, vanity was alien to me,
Caressed dreams and nursed dreams.
At the fireside, where a bright stream
Red fire, sometimes in the evening,
Thoughtful, eloquent friend,
She lived the dream of my deep mold.
The awakened shadows of the past
In transparent darkness they crowded around;
Or in the future, stained with a dream,
I cut through the mist of obscurity,
Bringing the distance together, lived in a distant life
And, mixing deceit with truth,
He painted the plan of castles in the air.
Like me in your accommodating attire
In movements he was not a slave to the tailor,
So my thought rushed in the open
With hope and memory three together.
On happy days of successful inspiration,
When it's easy, without the knowledge of labor,
The verse under the pen lay down forever
And rhyme, the enemy of innocent pleasures,
Whiplash, was kind to me;
How often, getting up from Morpheus's bed,
I walked straight to the table, where Muse with caress
Waiting for me with a message or a fairy tale
And fiction, whispered yesterday.
She liked my home outfit:
Her reception is alien to the secular charter,
Favored my negligence.
The verse flew out freer and simpler;
He wrote jokingly, and in a light-winged joke
The trace of a smile did not frighten the work.
How pitiful is the hateful lover of the Muses,
Who didn’t eat a bathrobe!
Fashion fan dressed like a doll
And warmed up with prim delight,
He enters his office as if he were at a ball.
Its flowers are rouge and white,
And dipped in fragrant ink
His pen paints a madrigal.
Let grace cutesy in the restroom
Gives him a fake smile
For what he showed in verse
A syllable with a receipt and a muse in curls;
But an example to me: this immortal slob -
Anacreon, friend of beauty and Bacchus,
Believe me, I drank and sang in my dressing gown;
Muse is a minion, pampered by Charitami
And to one fun is attached,
Playing, he touched immortality.
I am not flattered to be his partaker of glory,
But in laziness I will not yield to him:
Like him, I love the carelessness of fun,
Like him, I love leisure and quiet sleep.
But soon the trace of them will get cold with me:
Dashing worries will surround me,
And you, robe! my best friend,
Sorry! An unfaithful friend will leave you.
Crowded in the ranks of servants of the authorities,
I follow the path of tempting nets.
What awaits me on the way, where under the fog
Can't you distinguish the light of truth from deceit?
Where, blind man, inexperienced blind man,
Will I hit? Where does the journey end?
How will I show myself in front of the tinsel throne
Mistresses, from a wayward urn
Throwing bribed hand
Your gifts to the praying swarm,
Crowding with censers before her?
I do not understand her commandments, -
Pretense is alien and coercion is an enemy,
From youthful days, a connoisseur of quiet blessings.
In awkwardness, before note agility
Artisans, brought up by pretense,
My every step will expose me.
And a newbie still in the science of flexible:
Everyone to be sometimes and together to be nothing
And bend your neck with a spare smile
Under a golden but heavy yoke;
In the field, where the incessant clash
Rows of opponents are worried
I will leave to the triumph of enmity,
Perhaps the trace of my vain courage
And shameful traces of failures.
Oh my dressing gown, as in the old days friendly!
Then take me into your arms.
I will find my joy in you.
Receive me with leisure, dreams,
Crowning my spring with flowers.
Return the treasure of the former blessings;
Give me joy, alone with you,
In the silence of passions, with a calm soul
And not blushing before the secret judge,
Find yourself in yourself.
Warm me in cold compulsion
The cooled heat to the blessings of the muses,
And my genius, freed from bonds,
Sleeping will wake up inspiration.
Let me revive my old life again
And, sweet dreams in a magical rapture
Being reborn, let me find oblivion
All that I saw in reality.

Introduction.

The main task facing the garment industry is to constantly update the range and significantly improve the quality of garments. The correct scientifically based choice of materials largely determines the quality of products, their appearance, shape and wear resistance, and the complexity of manufacturing.

A significant role in solving problems aimed at improving the quality of materials for clothing belongs to research in the field of textile materials science, the creation of rational regimes for the use of materials in the manufacture of mass-produced clothing. The study of the performance properties of materials for clothing is becoming increasingly important due to the widespread introduction of chemical fibers and threads into the textile industry. The operational properties of materials made from natural raw materials are provided by a set of structural parameters - linear density, the number of threads per unit area of the material, the type of finish and the quality of the raw material. From chemical raw materials, it is possible to obtain materials with desired performance properties at minimal cost of raw materials and the use of the most economical technological processes - weaving, knitting, methods for the production of non-woven materials, etc.

To design materials with the required performance properties, it is necessary to systematically conduct research on the range of materials in order to accumulate data and introduce scientifically based standards for quality indicators.

For the mass production of garments for various purposes in highly efficient ways, garment production specialists need to know well the structure and properties of sewing materials used for the manufacture of garments, their change under the influence of garment production, and operating conditions.

One of the tasks of the clothing industry is the development of science in the field of invention of new types of materials with better hygienic, aesthetic and other indicators.

A variety of materials for clothing makes it possible to manufacture garments in accordance with the modern fashion trend and consumer requirements.

The purpose of this course work is to consolidate, deepen and generalize the knowledge gained on the assembly of materials for clothing. As well as obtaining practical skills in choosing materials for making a home dressing gown from their cotton fabric.

1 Characteristics of a garment.

1.1 Choice and justification of the model.

The direction of fashion for designing a dressing gown does not have a significant impact, so the choice of model should be based on the functionality of the proposed sketches.

In accordance with this, sketches presented in Figures 1.1-1.3 were selected from a number of proposed models.

Description of the appearance of the selected model No. 1.

Sketches of the proposed models are shown in Figures 1.1 - 1.3.

1.2 Requirements for the product.

Requirements are understood as a kind of information about what properties of clothing are preferred at the moment. Almost all existing classifications of requirements for clothing are a combination of consumer and production requirements for it.

The following are the requirements for a home dressing gown.

1.2.1 Consumer requirements.

Functional. The dressing gown must correspond to its purpose, operating conditions. This can be achieved through the use of materials with good hygienic and performance properties, soft, discreet pastel colors. Socio-aesthetic and utilitarian functions are important. The perfection of the performance of the utilitarian functions of the product depends, first of all, on the level of the constructive and technological solution of clothing and the properties of materials.

Aesthetic. They occupy a special place in assessing the quality of clothing as an item of personal consumption. The lack of aesthetic indicators makes clothes essentially useless. The interrelation of form, design and material in a dressing gown contributes to the rational use of material and labor costs. The aesthetic perception of any product also depends on the accuracy and thoroughness of the technological processing and finishing of all structural elements accessible to perception, the accuracy of finishing lines and connecting seams, and compliance with the rules of packaging and transportation.

Ergonomic. They characterize the degree of adaptation of the product to the person and are based on the ergonomic properties of the system man - product - environment. As a result of biological interaction with clothing, a person has psychological sensations of warmth, cold, comfort, and convenience. The product must correspond to the anthropometric characteristics of the human body, it must be comfortable to use.

Social. They characterize the conformity of products to social needs, which determine the expediency of their production and marketing. When designing a gown, it is necessary to use typical measurements that are specific to this consumer group.

Operational. In particular, reliability is the most important performance characteristic of most industrial products, including the gown. Reliability indicators determine the degree of stability of maintaining the quality of the product during operation. Reliability is determined by the reliability, durability, maintainability of the product. The terms of moral and physical wear and tear of products must match.

1.2.2 Production requirements.

Requirements for standardization and unification.

When designing and manufacturing a product, it is necessary to use new achievements in science and technology, existing practical experience, new processing methods, use basic and initial model designs.

Requirements for the manufacturability of the design.

It is necessary to reduce the cost of maintenance and repair of the product; use in the manufacture of new types of equipment, unified parts and assemblies, if possible, exclude internal process WTO.

economy requirements.

When designing, building patterns, making layouts, use CAD, use precise cuts, use materials economically, reduce production time, operating costs due to the good quality of products and materials used.

To determine the significance of certain requirements for a given product, it is necessary to rank the significance of groups of requirements, which is presented in Table 1.1.

Table 1.1 - Rank assessment of the significance of groups of requirements for a women's dressing gown for everyday wear.

Thus, the most important of the presented requirements for an everyday women's dressing gown are ergonomic, since the product must be comfortable and comfortable to wear. In addition, attention is paid to operational and functional requirements, as it should be wear-resistant, easy to clean and have high hygienic performance.

2 Development of requirements for materials.

For the manufacture of clothing, a wide variety of materials are used: fabrics, knitted and non-woven fabrics, natural and artificial leather, suede, fur and complex materials, which are combinations of various types of textile materials.

A reasonable choice of materials (basic, cushioning, lining, fastening, finishing and accessories) largely determines the quality of a garment, its appearance, shape and stability, wear resistance, as well as the cost-effectiveness of manufacturing, the possibility of using modern technology and technology.

Since clothing is a multi-layer system, requirements must be established for all materials included in the package of this product. Requirements for the materials of this type of product are established depending on its purpose.

2.1 Upper material requirements.

When establishing requirements for clothing materials, it should be remembered that they must meet, first of all, the requirements of standards, as well as aesthetic, hygienic, design and technological economic and wear resistance requirements.

2.1.1 General (standard) requirements.

General requirements include requirements for compliance of material property indicators with standard norms. It is the fibrous composition, type of threads, linear density, weave, surface density, width, breaking load and extensibility, which determine the limiting capabilities of the material.

According to the fibrous composition, materials for home dressing gowns can be cotton. The fibrous composition affects the choice of product processing methods, equipment, technological modes of machine lines and WTO.

For the manufacture of home dressing gowns, you can use cotton fabrics: chintz or calico.

These fabrics are produced from threads of various types and breaking density, various weaves and various finishes. The surface density of the materials will influence the choice of bonding materials, modes and equipment for the WTO. The surface density of these fabrics is 90-150 g / m 2, the linear density is 15.4-29.4 tex.

The width of the material determines the number of meters of fabric required for cutting a product of this type, as well as the economy of using the material. The standard width of cotton fabrics is 62 - 95 cm.

The breaking load and elongation of materials affect the silhouette of the product, the choice of increments and fastening materials. For the selected range of garments, the breaking load is 40-50 daN in the warp and 30-35 daN in the weft.

The density of the fabric affects its drapeability, hygienic properties (air permeability, dust permeability), formability. The density of dress fabrics is 120-300 threads per 10 cm.

2.1.2 Design and technological requirements.

Design and technological requirements are made up of requirements that depend on the design features of the product and the technology of its manufacture. These include: shrinkage, thickness, thread separation, shedding, blowability, deformability and components of total deformation, drape, wrinkle resistance, molding properties, rigidity.

Shrinkage ability affects the amount of shrinkage allowance when designing product parts. The establishment of uniform standards for shrinkage for the main, lining and cushioning materials and the selection of these materials on this basis ensures the manufacture of high quality products. For dress fabrics used for sewing dressing gowns, shrinkage should not exceed 3% on the warp and 2% on the weft.

Short description

A significant role in solving problems aimed at improving the quality of materials for clothing belongs to research in the field of textile materials science, the creation of rational regimes for the use of materials in the manufacture of mass-produced clothing. The study of the performance properties of materials for clothing is becoming increasingly important due to the widespread introduction of chemical fibers and threads into the textile industry. The operational properties of materials made from natural raw materials are provided by a set of structural parameters - linear density, the number of threads per unit area of the material, the type of finish and the quality of the raw material.

- an irreplaceable thing that is present in the wardrobe of almost every woman. Of course, there is a category of people who categorically do not recognize this type of home clothing, considering it rustic and unattractive. However, most simply cannot do without it - for example, it is very convenient to get out of the bath or shower in the evening, and also go to the toilet or the kitchen in the morning to have breakfast.

In addition, the stereotype about the unattractiveness of this type of home wear has long lost its relevance - now you can buy anything in the store - from soft fluffy terry bannik to super-sexy silk and lace negligee. The choice is yours. But if none of the options you saw suited you, you can completely sew a homemade dressing gown with your own hands. We bring to your attention a few simple ideas on how to sew a bathrobe with your own hands.

How to sew a dressing gown without a pattern?

This master class is suitable for those who are just starting to master the art of seamstress and have only minimal skills. In order to sew such a robe, you do not need to draw a pattern - everything is done literally "by eye". In addition, this is a great way to use up an unnecessary piece of fabric, better than a baize or flannel, which could be lying around with you from time immemorial, inherited from your mother or grandmother.

So, we need:

  • textile;
  • scissors;
  • tape measure;
  • threads;
  • sewing machine;
  • iron.

Progress:

We sew a beautiful bathrobe with our own hands from towels for a child

This is a great way to "attach" annoying bath towels. Your baby will surely like this dressing gown, because it will turn out soft and comfortable. This guide assumes a 3-4 year old robe.
