Master class rug.
To get started, you will need:
Scissors
Fabric (I use fleece, but old t-shirts will work too)))
Rope or plastic mesh with a cross section of not more than 3 cm.
And of course the hands.
Cut the fabric into strips, 1 cm wide, 12-15 cm long

And we start knitting knots.

If you want a not very thick rug, rarely knit knots, for a thick rug, knots should be knitted on each side of the grid square and in the corners

If you want a round rug or an oval one, it is better to cut the mesh immediately to the desired shape.
By combining colors you can achieve extraordinary results.

My latest creation.
Bath mat lawn.

And this rug is made in the classic technique of circular crochet. Detailed photo tutorial attached)

And let's sew a rug for the boy? It consists of a blanket-machine and a blanket-trailer, they are interconnected with Velcro, which is very practical for a family in which two tomboys grow up.

I also love this rug for the bathroom. It is sewn with ruffles.

And for a nursery, this one, sewn on a typewriter, is suitable

And how do you like this "mat" from an ordinary rope? This idea seemed very interesting to me) In addition, you can use such a carpet for knitting.

Remember we already have? but after all, according to a similar scheme, you can create such beauty!

That's just the template is a little different, you will find how it's done in the pro topic)

Here is such a rug of absolutely any width and length (within reason, of course) can be woven according to the proposed

This is a knitted rug. Everything is simple as ordinary crochet, only instead of yarn there are thin (about 1 cm) strips of knitted fabric. The strips are cut in such a way that they stretch. Try to cut the strips as long as possible, with a snake.

This rug is also woven from strips of knitted fabric, again - old T-shirts))
We cut the T-shirts into strips 5-7 cm wide, twist them into a flagellum immediately wrapping them with a strong thread with approximately the same interval of turns. We fold the strips in two or in half, depending on their length, and sew the flagella together. If necessary, the length of the tourniquet can be increased by simply applying strips.
As a result, we sew all the paired stripes together. Kant sewn at will

Wow, what a lot of work! Cut, twist, tie and sew .. but it's worth it, the rug made of knitted fabric looks simply charming))
I just found a photo of the original fluffy rug, I would even say that it is somewhat glamorous

And it's very easy to make! First you need to crochet the grid, always with cells. And then, along the contours of the cells, you need to knit up rows of double crochets. By placing these rows in a certain order, you will get a chic rug with ruffles)
Well, and another very warm rug made of non-standard material: a cork rug!
Where can I get so many corks, you ask? Just don't throw away the wine corks) When you have enough of them, cut each one in half lengthwise.

Then lay the corks cut side down on the checkered paper to make sure the edges are even, which can be trimmed with a knife if necessary.

As a basis for a cork rug, you can use thin rubber or special anti-slip rubber. We glue the corks with hot glue.

Very fluffy rug made of threads! Remember this one?

The technology of their manufacture is very similar - it takes a lot of time and attention, but the finished product will delight you with its softness and tenderness)

First, we need a base to which the threads will be sewn.

anfissaa, I propose to take a look at another, very easy-to-make, fluffy rug made of threads, only it is no longer sewn, but woven, or something)) In general, the knots fit)

Two more examples of knitted rugs, without diagrams, but very clear)
For the first rug, you need to knit strips of a certain length, which are then twisted and stitched or crocheted around the perimeter with a series of single crochets along the very edge.
The second rug - circles sewn in one plane

For some reason, there are few rugs that are knitted. They undoubtedly turn out thinner, but sometimes they are much more beautiful than those carpets and paths that are connected in other ways)

And this is a wooden rug) Suitable for a corridor, porch or gazebo. You need to take planks of the same length and drill holes in them, into which to stretch the rope and that's it!

Do not know what to make a carpet or soft bedding from? Take a look in your closet, for sure there will be an old sweater that you have not worn for several years. Cut off the sleeves from it, but do not throw it away, you can make such insoles for shoes from them.
And from the largest part of the sweater you will get a rug, just decorate it with embroidery, appliqué and tie the edge.

And this rug is knitted from a hemp rope, I would not refuse this in the bathroom - an excellent foot massage on a rough surface) Only depending on the rope, you need to try to find a very thick hook in the store, even in the photo you can see that it is somewhere around number 15 )

And this bath rug is knitted from .. plastic garbage bags) True, it is a very budget yarn, especially since one bag produces a ball of impressive size!

But such a rug can be made not only from scraps of felt, but also from the edges of denim trousers! Glue can be used not only thermal.
Prepare several large elements, and then combine into one carpet

And here is a very beautiful flower rug, it’s a pity to even walk on it, let it lie by the crib)))) And yet, such a rug can be a great basis for)

This is what the rug looks like from the inside

Wow, so many amazing ideas! Thank you so much, girls, I have direct inspiration for further work! Just a lot of all sorts of different old children's little things have accumulated, which you can’t get anywhere, so I’ll dispose of them =)

By the way, if we talk about little ideas - I saw such a miracle - not woven, not knitted, not flying, but .. grown. why don't you have an idea? Not for everyone, of course, and it’s difficult to do, but I would not refuse to walk on such a rug =)

This is a design development of some oriental designer Nguyen La Chanh. Here they can..
Here are some more bathroom rug ideas. All of them, as far as I understand, are crocheted.
