How to make a box out of tape. How to make a box with your own hands from bushings for adhesive tape with decor using napkin technique. Round tape box

With your hands, you can create a cute and interesting jewelry box. You can use it for any jewelry, jewelry, beads, buttons, hairpins. The only limitation is its size. It does not require special costs to create it, but it only takes a little effort and time. The size of the box depends on the size of the tape reel.

Necessary materials:

  • reel from adhesive tape;
  • thin cardboard;
  • PVA glue;
  • universal glue;
  • lace;
  • egg shell;
  • satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide;
  • acrylic paint;
  • acrylic lacquer.

Master class: a box from a reel of scotch tape

To work, you need thin cardboard. It is very convenient to use cardboard folders or folders.

We put the reel on the cardboard and trace with a simple pencil along the inside of the reel.

Cut out the circle. We need 10-12 such circles (depending on the thickness of the cardboard).

Then again we apply the reel to the cardboard and circle the outside with a pencil. We also cut out 10-12 circles. We glue 5 cardboard circles. To do this, lubricate the circle well with PVA glue, put the second one on it. Lubricate the second and put the third, etc. All blanks must be sent under the press, until the glue dries completely. It turns out only 4 blanks.

With sandpaper with a very fine coating, we grind the side edges well.

We put the reel on a large workpiece, align it and draw it with a simple pencil along the inside. So we mark the place where you need to glue a smaller workpiece. Lubricate the smaller workpiece with glue and apply it to the large workpiece, and send it under the press. We do the same with the second pair of blanks.

When the glue is dry, simply glue the bobbin to one of the blanks. The second blank will serve as a lid for the box. Paint the box and lid with acrylic paint.

The shell is best used from white eggs. It must first be washed and the inner film removed. Then we simply break it into small pieces and glue it to the side of the box with PVA glue. We leave a small distance between the pieces of the shell. We cover the box and the lid with acrylic varnish, it is possible in 2 layers.

Using universal glue, glue two strips of lace to match the box.

To decorate the lid, we make three roses from satin ribbon. We wrap the edge of the tape inward at 90 degrees and twist it into a tube. Then we bend the tape outward (as if turning it over) and make a turn. Then we bend the tape again and now do half a turn. Continue doing this until you get a rose. Periodically drip a little glue on the lapel and press. We burn the edge of the tape with a candle and simply glue it.

A charming box can be made from an unnecessary reel of scotch tape. Prepare several blanks in advance so that in moments of creative impulse you do not waste time on boring work.

To create crafts in technology, kanzashi and some other types of decoration, you need basics - forms that are ready for coloring or pasting. These boxes can be bought in specialized stores, but to reduce the cost of work and fully assign it the status of "made by hand", learn how to make blanks yourself. Today we will teach you how to make a blank for boxes with your own hands from waste material.

Round tape box

The round bobbin left over from the used adhesive tape is the most valuable material for a needlewoman! Such a base can be decorated using various techniques, for example, in the style of scrapbooking or decoupage, pasted over with a cloth or decorated with beads, pasta, rope, bamboo sticks. If you want to use the kanzashi technique for decoration, take a look at.

For work, it is recommended to use binding cardboard, but you can replace it with other cardboard of similar density. First of all, attach the reel to the cardboard and draw three circles on the inside diameter and two circles on the outside. The bottom and lid of the future masterpiece will be made from these details.

Glue circles with a smaller diameter together with Moment glue. Can be briefly put under pressure. Turn the finished dense part around the edges with sandpaper and glue it to a circle with a large diameter, centering it. The result is a lid that will tightly close the box. Sand the edges with sandpaper if necessary.

While the lid gets its final strength, glue the remaining circle to the bobbin, this will be the bottom of the product. After the glue has set, go over the edge with sandpaper.

The workpiece is ready! Now you can decorate it to your liking in your favorite technique! By the way, the top cover can be made a little protruding, to do this, increase one of the large circles. So the box will be easier to open, even if you do without a lid.

Using the same technique, it is easy to create caskets from other cylindrical objects of a suitable diameter. And if there is nothing similar at your disposal, make a box out of cardboard.

Examples of decorating a round box

Now that you know how to make your own scotch tape box, see what you can turn this unattractive object into by applying a modicum of your skill in the photo below and in ours.

We also recommend making a box of cardboard and in the form of a delicious cake. If you often do needlework, prepare several of these blanks in advance so that at the moment of inspiration you don’t waste time on a boring process, but immediately start creating!

Don't be in a hurry to run away. we have a lot of master classes and interesting publications that will help you spend your free time with benefit and pleasure.

Do you still throw away empty scotch spools? Do not do that! Now I will show and tell you how to turn garbage into a useful little thing.

So what do we need to create our masterpiece other than an empty spool?
- mat, knife, scissors;
- pencil, glue, acrylic paint;
- cardboard for the lid and bottom (I took thick corrugated cardboard for the bottom, and millimeter for the lid);
- a ribbon-ribbon for fixing the lid (a small piece);
- paper, distress ink and decorations according to your idea.

Initially, I planned to do it a little differently, so I took a picture of the jeans ink, but I didn’t need them in the process.

To create this box, I chose this paper. The one with polka dots will be inside. Patterned outside.

1. Let's put the bobbin in order, cut off everything superfluous. We cut out 2 circles from cardboard, just circle the cylinder - one for the lid, and the other for the bottom of our future box. Sand the circle for the lid to make it more even. For the bottom, do not touch yet.

2. Paint the end of the coil on one side and the sides of the cardboard for the cover. I do it with a sponge undiluted paint. For what? So that later the protruding parts look more aesthetically pleasing.

3. Cut out 2 circles for the bottom and 2 for the lid from scrap paper in the same way. Glue one of the paper circles with a cardboard bottom. I used Artugolka glue for this. At first it gets wet and looks ugly, but when it dries, everything straightens out.

Let's apply it like this:

4. Let's go sandpaper along the bottom, overwriting all the bumps.

5. Cut strips to fix the bottom. I took kraft paper. Strips 2 * 6 cm (approximately), pieces 5-6. In general, you can put it on glue, but it seems to me that it will be more reliable.

6. And this is how we stick them.

7. Decorate the circle, which will be the outer bottom. We glue it to the cardboard of the lower part, skin it, tint it with distress ink (I did it in that order).

8. Then we need to cut 2 strips - one for the inside and the other for the outside. I am very lazy! Therefore, I do this: I mark on the bobbin with a pencil - and just roll it over the paper. On the reverse side I mark by adding another 1 cm for gluing. And this will be the outer stripe.

9. Insert it inside and note how long the inside will be.

10. And now we tint the stripes. And prepare a ribbon to attach the lid. I have this one.

11. Glue the ribbon-rope inside. As you can see, I took a longer one, as usual, for reliability. Glue for a moment-crystal.

12. Paste inside, then again, skin the edge, tint. Do not forget only that sandpaper should be used when the paper dries. Paper that is wet from glue can tear!

13. Now - outside. It's better if you put the glue on the bobbin and not on the paper. Gently, like wallpaper, wiping with a cloth, consistently.

14. We glue the lid on the other end of the ribbon, we only draw the ribbon on the front part, so it will be easier to decorate. Again, let's leave the tail longer.

15. On the inside of the lid - a paper circle, again we skin and tint. We decorate this side of the lid now, if there is such an idea. I just stamped.

16. And now let's do step 15, but only with the outer part of the lid - and now, the base for the box is ready!

And here the fun begins! Decorate your box as your imagination tells you! Let's add what the soul desires - and all together we will admire the resulting masterpiece!

Here's what happened to me:

Here's what happened to me:

And another one of mine:

And I took these caskets from Natasha-Tytsik's blog.

So, we will need:

1. Tape base

2. Thick cardboard

3. Thick paper (watercolor is fine, but a little thicker is better)

4. Paper for decoration outside

5. Fabric for interior decoration

6. Paper tape

7. Double-sided tape

8. PVA glue

9. Stationery knife, scissors, brush, pencil

Release the base from labels and old adhesive tape.

We mark the details, stepping back from the edge of 1.5 cm.

VERY CAREFULLY make an incision with a knife through the base and slowly, like bread, cut the base into two parts. It is not simple. Take care of your fingers!

There should be two parts:

At first, you may not be able to make an even cut between the parts.

Therefore, we simply swap the "seams", this will make the edges of the box neat:

Having attached the base to the cardboard, we trace along outside pencil,

Twice. This will be the lid and bottom.

Another cardboard disk will need to be cut along the inner diameter.

And attaching to thick paper - on the inside ...

And the outer edges (*if there is not enough decorative paper).

We also cut out a strip of 4x25 cm from thick paper.

We apply a cardboard disk to the wide part of the future box:

Fix with paper tape.

and glue it tightly, already thoroughly and evenly:

We do the same with the "lid"

We cut the free edge of the adhesive tape into strips and glue it alternately to the disk.

As a result, the following blanks of the box will turn out:

Now cut out two disks of decorative paper and 2 strips

Size 27.5 x 6.5 cm (bottom of the box) 27.5 x 5 (lid)

We coat the base with PVA:

Tightly cover with paper, gluing evenly, without bubbles and distortions,

There should be free paper around the edges:

We coat the edge with glue separately and glue it with an overlap:

We cut the free edge into strips and, having smeared the edge of the bottom with glue,

We press the strips to the bottom.

Do everything carefully, without leaving gaps and cracks.

It will turn out like this:

Now we glue the inner edge of the box together with the end face with glue:

And, in a circle, starting from the place of the cut, we bend,

At the same time aligning the paper.

We make sure that air bubbles and folds do not remain at the ends:

Everything inside should also be neat,

Even though it won't be visible.

Here it must be said that the denser your decorative paper,

The larger and larger the folds will be, keep this in mind.

To the bottom * glue a paper disk

Or (if there is enough material) a decorative paper disk:

We make the top of the box according to the same principle as the bottom.

On the free edge of the paper we make three cuts

(just not tight to the ends!).

We already have the fourth cut)) these are the joints of the paper.

Lubricate the inner sides and a little disc cover with glue.

And, alternately glue all four strips, leveling,

And laying the edges one on top of the other.

This will ensure that there are no folds at the edges.

Glue a smaller paper disk inside.

External design is ready.

Now we take a strip of paper and another cardboard disk

(1-2 mm smaller than inner diameter)

And cut out fabric details for them:

Attach double sided tape to the fabric

And alternately bending the edges, glue the cardboard disc with a cloth.

We also stick double-sided tape on the fabric strip.

We bend one edge, it is glued.

Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape, stick the paper.

At the end where it is bent (in the picture on the left) we glue a strip of adhesive tape,
