How to crochet a round cup holder. Crocheted coasters. Scheme. Do-it-yourself crochet coasters

Knitting is one of the most popular types of needlework for a reason! Indeed, with the help of a hook and thread, you can make almost anything, from simple products to complex ones. In this master class, we will knit a stand for glasses in the form of a foot.

For knitting coasters we need:

  1. Yarn pink and beige colour;
  2. Hook;
  3. Needle.

Our product will have 4 fingers, so we need to knit 4 small circles of pink yarn. To do this, we make the initial loop and knit 2 air ones. Then in the very first loop we perform 6 single crochets. In the second row, we must increase the number of columns by 2 times, so we knit 2 single crochets in each column of the previous row.

Now we will knit the palm of the paw

It will be in the shape of a heart. Knitting continues with yarn Pink colour. We form a sliding loop. Next, we make 2 air loops and in the ring we will perform 3 columns with 2 crochets.

Next, in a sliding loop, we knit 4 columns with 1 crochet.

And again we perform 1 column with 2 crochets. Half of the heart has been formed, now we will form the 2nd half. You need to tie in exactly the same way only in the opposite direction. That is, first we knit 4 columns with 1 crochet, then 3 columns with 2 crochets. Now we make 2 air ones and we knit 1 connecting column into a sliding loop. We tighten the loop well.

At the beginning of a new row, we knit 2 single crochets under a chain of 2 air loops. Next, in 3 columns with 2 crochets of the bottom row, we will perform 3 columns with 1 crochet in each of them. Next, we knit 3 columns with a crochet, 1 in each of the loops. Now we knit 2 columns with a crochet in 1 loop. In the central loop we knit 1 column with 1 crochet, 1 column with 2 crochets and 1 more column with a crochet.

Next, knit on the 2nd side in the same way as on the first. First, we knit 2 double crochets in 1 loop, then 3 double crochets in 3 loops, 3 double crochets in the next 3 loops, then we knit 2 single crochets under the air loop. And 1 connecting loop.

Now skip 1 loop and do 1 single crochet. Then we knit to the end 2 single crochets in each of the loops.

Detail is ready!

Now we need to tie the foot itself

We knit it with beige yarn. Just as in the fingers, we knit a ring of 6 loops, then, adding to each loop, we increase them to 12. And then we will knit with increments in each row. Each time there will be 6 of them. In the new row, we knit the increase through 1 loop in a circle. There will be 18 loops already. Then we add through 2 loops in a circle. This is 24 loops at the end of the row. In the new row, we increase every 3 loops, then after 4 and so on in ascending order until the circle consists of 54 loops.

It remains to form the fingers. So, at the beginning of the row, we skip 2 loops and in the 3rd we knit 7 double crochets. Next, skip 2 loops of the base and perform 2 columns without a loop. Again we skip 2 loops and in the 3rd we knit again 7 columns with a crochet. And then we knit the remaining fingers in the same way. In total, 4 such fingers need to be knitted. Next, to the end of the row, we knit 1 single crochet in each of the loops.

You can tie 1 more next to it in a circle with single crochets. Now we sew the heart with the top on the foot.

We also sew on the fingers. The coaster for glasses in the form of a paw is ready!

Good afternoon, dear needlewomen and all guests of the blog!

Today I have such a small topic: I decided to show you how you can make coasters for mugs with your own hands. Many people are interested in this issue.

Crochet is closest to me, so I made a small selection of simple patterns. crochet coasters for mugs. On such little things they often learn to crochet.

Do-it-yourself crochet coasters

First of all, I was inspired by these photos of mug coasters that I saw on the Internet.

Wow, such adorable sets! They can be used both under cups and under glasses when laying the table.

Even on weekdays, the kitchen or dining room should be beautiful. And these knitted little things give both comfort and mood.

In addition, coasters for mugs perform a practical function, they protect the surface of furniture from stains and scratches, especially if you put something hot on the table.

Of course, some wooden or wicker coasters can be more practical and more convenient, but we, the needlewomen, need to attach the remnants of yarn and generally tie the coasters for mugs with our own hands is much more pleasant, in addition, this fashion decoration for the kitchen will surprise both home and guests.

We show our creative imagination and knit coasters for mugs!

You can use any thick thread. And the leftover yarn will come in handy. It is only necessary to take into account the style of the interior and choose a nice color for knitted coasters.

What else can be knitted from the remnants of yarn

We choose the hook, as always, suitable for the yarn.

Schemes of round coasters for a mug

Crocheted mug coasters, those in the upper main photo, are connected according to the diagram below:

In principle, for knitting round coasters, you can use the pattern of any small napkin. The diagrams posted here>> are perfect, I will not repeat and post them again. There, by the way, there is a scheme close to pink coasters.

You can borrow the ideas of knitted potholders in the form of oranges, lemons, apples.

Here's another simple circuit read about it below:

When knitting color models, you should correctly make the transition from one color to another, knitting the last loop of the row with a new color. How to do this, you can see in my video, in which I show how to crochet a sunflower flower, which, by the way, turned out to be an excellent coaster for a mug.

Schemes of square coasters for a mug

I have not knitted any sets of coasters for myself yet, but I have one coaster for a mug. It turned out quite unexpectedly.

The fact is that some comrades at my house are very fond of drinking tea, sitting in an armchair watching TV. Trying to put a hot mug on the coffee table with my snow-white napkin caused, to put it mildly, very violent emotions. I immediately found something to be able to substitute. And one day a motive came under my hands, which I knitted specifically for a blanket with sunflowers to make a master class. So he remained to serve as a coaster for hot mugs, which wanders from an armchair to a sofa, and from a sofa to a computer desk, and is in no way tied to the style of the interior, but quite a nice coaster for a mug with his own hands.

You can also knit openwork square motifs from thick yarn, also a great option for coasters.

Here there is also a diagram of an interesting stand in the loin technique with a three-dimensional flower.

But this article would not exist, probably, if I had not come across the following knitted coasters, which simply fascinated me: the first ones amaze with their simplicity, while others, on the contrary, with their unusual shape and openwork pattern.

Even though these coasters are knitted in gray yarn, they look very elegant, which is what won me over, like all simple Japanese ideas that I love very much.

The last row of a simple circle (diagram above) or a square is tied with a fast step, which gives a finished look to the product and is very beautiful decoration the edges.

Scheme square motif taken from the same magazine as the photo of the model, but for some reason they forgot to finish drawing an openwork path, the same as on a round stand, and tying with a fast pace, keep this in mind.

Or such square coasters can be connected in the same way:

Wonderful gift set combined with knitted cover per cup:

Coasters for mugs and glasses in the form of a leaf

As I already mentioned, I liked these coasters for glasses with their interesting leaf shape.

A stand for a glass (mug) is knitted according to the scheme, starting from the wide part of the sheet, from a set of air loops. Knit in reverse rows, moving towards the narrow part of the sheet.

In conclusion, a row is connected on the other side of the chain of air loops, turning into knitting a handle, and then the entire leaf is obliged around the perimeter with single crochets.

What crochet coasters do you like?

I will be glad if the selection of schemes is useful to you.

Here you can also knit holiday coasters in the form of hearts. Scheme and master class here>>.

  • Today I have prepared a detailed master class and will show you how to crochet new cup coasters. But first I want to introduce you to wonderful little cubs. They have just been born, but already have a huge purpose in this life.

    Coasters for cups crochet "Bears"

They live only in the workplace and inspire new ideas.

These cubs are still very young, they only lie down most of their lives, but already can hold cups.

A cup of coffee or tea on the desktop is my obligatory attribute when the child fell asleep, and I have time to concentrate on my work, or study. Therefore, I always have coasters. And over the weekend, I replaced the old ones with these cute Mimi-bears.

If you like them, I suggest you use them and tie them yourself. No need to buy, order and wait for delivery. Just take your crochet threads and make yourself these inspirations.

    Necessary materials

    • threads for knitting (for one bear you need two colors - black and the main color of the bear)
    • hook(I almost always crochet #2)
    • sintepuh
    • needle for sewing

    Conventions

    • air loop- vp
    • single crochet- sc
    • increase- etc
increase- it's knitting two single crochet into one.
    • reduction- ub
Decrease- it's knitting two single crochet, as one.

For beginner needlewomen, I prepared a special publication -

How to crochet Mimi Bear cup coasters

I offer 12 steps for creating these cubs.

    1. Head

Starting with knitting the very muzzle of a bear. We take the thread of the main color.

    We knit the head

    We knit 2 in.

    • 1 circle:
    • 2nd circle:
    • 3 circle:
    • 4th circle:
    • 5 circle:(1+ub)*6 times. You get a circle of 12 sc.
    • 6 circle: just knit in a circle 12 sc.
    • 7 circle: pr * 12 times. You get a circle of 24 sc.
    • 8 circle:
    • 9 circle:(1+pr)*12 times. You get a circle of 36 sc.
    • 10-11 circles: just knit in a circle 36 sc.
    • 12 circle:(1+ub)*12 times. You get a circle of 24 sc.
    • 13 circle: just knit in a circle 24 sc.

On this, the knitting of the muzzle was finished, but the thread does not need to be torn off. Just fasten it, then we will continue to knit the head with it.

    2. Nose

We embroider the nose of the bear with black thread.

    Embroider the nose

    3. Eyes and continued knitting of the head

Embroider eyes with black thread using French knots.

    french knots

Now you need to finish knitting the head.

We stuff the head with sintepuh (quite a bit, so that it only keeps its shape). The filler does not need to be placed in the nose.

    We finish knitting the head

Further, with the help of a thread that we did not tear off before we began to embroider the nose, we knit decreases in each loop until closing. To make it more accurate, I recommend using it, I talked about them in previous master classes.

    Invisible reductions

    4. Ears (2 pcs.)

We knit with the main color.

    We knit ears

    We knit 2 in.

    • 1 circle: 6 sc in the second ch from the hook.
    • 2nd circle: pr * 6 times. You get a circle of 12 sc.
    • 3 circle:(1+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 18 sc.
    • 4th circle: just knit in a circle 18 sbn without increments.

Ears are sewn to the head.

    5. Stand base (2 pcs.)

We knit with the main color.

We knit the base for the stand

    We knit 2 in.

    • 1 circle: 6 sc in the second ch from the hook.
    • 2nd circle: pr * 6 times. You get a circle of 12 sc.
    • 3 circle:(1+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 18 sc.
    • 4th circle:
    • 5 circle:(3+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 30 sc.
    • 6 circle:(4+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 36 sc.
    • 7 circle:(5+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 42 sc.
    • 8 circle:(6+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 48 sc.
    • 9 circle:(7+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 54 sc.
    • 10 circle:(8+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 60 sc.
    • 11 circle:(4+pr)*12 times. You get a circle of 72 sc.
    • 12 circle: just knit in a circle 72 sbn without increments.

Now you need steam with an iron these bases so that they are even and keep their shape.

    6. Tail

We knit with the main color.

    We knit a tail

    We knit 2 in.

    • 1 circle: 6 sc in the second ch from the hook.
    • 2nd circle: pr * 6 times. You get a circle of 12 sc.

We sew the tail to the right place on one of the bases of the stand.

    7. We knit the base of the paws (4 pcs.)

We knit with the main color.

    We knit paws

    We knit 2 in.

    • 1 circle: 6 sc in the second ch from the hook.
    • 2nd circle: pr * 6 times. You get a circle of 12 sc.
    • 3 circle:(1+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 18 sc.
    • 4th circle:(2+pr)*6 times. You get a circle of 24 sc.
    • 5-7 circles: just knit in a circle 24 sbn without increments.

    8. We finish making paws

We stuff each paw with a small amount of synthetic fluff.

We sew the paws so that the synthetic fluff is hidden.

    9. All ready for stitching

We have all the details of the bear ready.

All parts are ready for stitching

    It remains only to sew.

    10. Sew on the head

    We start with the head.

Sew the head to the base of the stand

Symmetrically to the already sewn tail, we sew the head to the same base for the stand.

    11. Sew on the paws

We sew the paws to one base for the stand (we already sewed the tail and head to it earlier).

Sew the paws to the base of the stand

I have shown two examples in the photo of how to sew paws. Choose the one you like best. I liked it better when the paws are extended, like a brown bear cub.

    12. Sew on the second base for the stand

When everything is ready, it remains only to hide all the threads and sew on the second base for the stand. They are identical in size to the first one, so everything will look neat.

Sew on the second base for the stand

And another advantage of the double base is that it keeps its shape better and the hot cup will definitely not touch the table.

    That's it.

To separate fruit slices, you can knit connecting posts over the surface with white yarn. Here's a great tutorial on how to do it. I did not knit the connecting columns continuously. I knitted 6 separate lines. You may want to knit a conn. bars all over CR 1 to get 6 lines. Unfortunately, you have to hide a lot of the ends of the threads, but it seemed to me that this was the best way.
