Artificial intelligence for the home. Smart home with artificial intelligence. Refusal of cloud technologies

The miracle invention "smart home" has reached Yaroslavl. The smart home market is showing strong growth. Long considered a "toy for the elite", today these technologies have become available to the middle class.

What is a "smart home"

First, let's deal with the subject. "Smart Home" is an automation system that combines the engineering systems of a house into a single network. More recently, we could see such delights only in science fiction films, but today progress has already reached almost “to the very outskirts”. In the ad database of the site Dom.76.ru, the “smart home” system is mainly in expensive cottages (from 10 million rubles). But ads are rare, where the “smart home” is implemented in houses worth up to 5 million. Last year, according to experts, the market increased by 15%, which exceeded last year's figures.

In fact, such a system not only makes life easier for a person, ensures safety, but is also designed to significantly reduce energy costs. The principle of economy is guided by most of the owners of the system in the US and Europe. For the first time, such systems appeared on industrial enterprises USA in the 1970s.

Today, "smart home" is also used in residential real estate. Most often, the system is installed in country cottages and apartments of large areas. “The more engineering systems in the house, the more justified the automation system,” says engineer Sergey Demidov. “The use of intelligent control systems allows you to save up to 30-50% of the initial cost of energy resources.”

The term "smart home" is usually understood as the integration of the following systems into a single building management system:
control and communication systems;
heating, ventilation and air conditioning system;
lighting system;
building power supply system;
security and monitoring system.

Three-story building with intelligence

In the Yaroslavl region, progress is not far behind - a semblance of a "smart home" system has been introduced in a house where residents of emergency houses have moved. For example, in the village of Pesochnoye, Rybinsk District, a “smart” energy-efficient three-story building was built last year. This house was built with the participation of the Housing and Public Utilities Reform Assistance Fund. Almost 40 million rubles were spent on the construction.

“This is an unusual house. It combines all the latest achievements of the construction industry,” said Alexander Knyazkov, First Deputy Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, at the grand opening. “The topic of energy-saving houses is relevant not only in the West, which has reached significant heights in this area, but also in Russia, which is taking timid steps in this direction.”

The outer walls are made of prefabricated foam concrete, covered with a 10 cm layer of insulation and protected from external influences by siding. The building has plastic windows with double-glazed windows and a special film with silver ions, which reflects heat into the premises. The house has a ventilation system. The device, built into the outer walls, not only feeds into the room Fresh air, but also removes the polluted one at the same time. As experts note, unlike most of these devices, appliances installed in an energy-efficient house in the Yaroslavl region supply heated fresh air to the room in any cold weather, but do not consume electrical or thermal energy to heat it. To reduce electricity consumption in common areas and for outdoor lighting, LED lamps were installed. Lighting in the attic, staircase is switched on by motion sensors and depending on the illumination. The inclusion of outdoor lighting comes from light sensors. The power supply of all common house electrical receivers comes from photovoltaic panels. To illuminate common areas, a cassette with 32 solar panels is placed on the roof. By the way, the lamps are equipped with motion sensors and are lit only when there is someone in the room. Solar panels can work even in cloudy weather. They feed on ultraviolet radiation, which is constantly present in one size or another. Even at night, when the moon is shining, the batteries can be charged. And this energy is quite enough to power dozens of lamps. As a result, residents of a smart home pay 15-22% less for a communal apartment than in a regular one. Over time, the authorities plan to build such buildings in every municipal district of the region.

“Entire neighborhoods with energy-efficient houses have already begun to appear in the subjects of the Federation,” said Andrei Yepaneshnikov, Deputy Governor. “We plan to build such a quarter in the village of Vyatskoye, Nekrasovsky district.”

Expensive pleasure

For private houses and apartments, intelligent control systems are not cheap. The organization of each specific "smart home" is determined by the needs of the customer, the budget and the area of the automation object. The installation of systems begins with the installation of "smart electricity", which allows you to connect all exit points with special cables interconnected. The cost of installing a smart electricity system consists of the cost of wiring special cables and socket equipment. Plus a system that will allow you to synchronize and bring control of all points to one remote control.

Almost all smart home systems allow you to automate and centralize the management of all engineering systems at home. The cost of automating systems is from 30 to 40% of the total cost of "smart home".

At the same time, experts say that it is not at all necessary to stuff the apartment with sensors “to the eyeballs”. In some cases, a few elements are sufficient. To save electricity, water and heat, it is enough to install systems with touch sensors. “The light will turn off if there is no one in the room, and the water will stop flowing if you remove your hands from the tap,” Sergey Demidov explains. - Or if no one is at home, the system will switch the underfloor heating to the economy mode, turn off the heater. This will allow you to control the systems in your home and save resources.”

Viaroom Home uses artificial intelligence to automate your home. This smart home system is the latest development using the most modern technologies at the moment. In this review, you will learn about its main advantages and options for using it in your home.

Home assistants such as Google Home and Amazon Echo are becoming commonplace in the home. Their limitation is the need to issue commands, but this is where the Viaroom Home smart home game comes in. Viaroom Home is a complex developed by the ATES Networks team that provides quality new level home automation. It premiered at CES 2018. The system is designed to connect all the smart devices in your home, providing home automation using artificial intelligence that learns user habits. Viarum works as a multi-level device that integrates and synchronizes smart home products into a single system of an advanced complex for managing all home functions. If you are starting repairs right now, then by all means think about implementing an integrated smart home system that will make life much more comfortable and productive.

During the 48-hour setup period, the device analyzes occupant habits and scans everything that happens in your home. Going forward, Viaroom Home creates a detailed map of all home systems based on the behavior of its users. Thanks to this, the smart home will be able to predict and modify the use cases of all systems. For example, if a lamp is turned on manually at a certain time every day, artificial intelligence will take this into account and prompt the user to automate this action.

The smart home with artificial intelligence will be able to work with products such as Philips Hue, Osram, Fibaro, Vera, Aeotec, Google Home and Amazon Echo. The device is expected to hit the markets at the end of January 2018. Already, many are pre-ordering at a promotional price to act as beta testers and help with the adjustment of basic functions.

One can dream for a long time of a fantastically smart home that brews coffee for the owner in the morning, heats the sauna in the evening and prepares dinner, and maybe even talks to him when he is bored. Or you can just think about how great it would be if all our omissions, like leaving the irons on, did not cause any inconvenience in important negotiations.

Today, all this is quite real - high technology has descended to a simple home life and made it even more comfortable. Maybe they were created by sloth scientists who didn’t want to get up in the morning on purpose to go make coffee? After all, laziness, as you know, is not only a quality of a person, but also an engine of progress as well.

High tech = endless possibilities

You can combine the capabilities of the "smart home" system in completely different variations. Also, the house should have one information block, where the functions of all elements of the "smart home" are programmed. The main elements are sensors - temperature, movement, light level, etc. Regarding the indicators of these sensors, an action program is formed: for example, when the air temperature in living rooms drops below 24 degrees, the heating system turns on automatically at certain hours (when the owners are at home). Or, when the minimum level of illumination is reached, the “intelligent home” (according to the program laid down in it) closes the curtains on its own and turns on the lighting system. Also, in the head computer of a smart home, you can put a program for preparing coffee / breakfast in the morning by the time the owner wakes up, or preparing a sauna for the time he returns from work in the evening.

In addition, the sensors can respond not only to light or temperature - you can program the lamps to respond to clap (in many films, the characters clap their hands and the light comes on - so now you won’t surprise anyone with this), and the microwave - to a voice command like “ warm up dinner. And you can also equip the premises with microphones, and then the "smart home" will learn to talk with the owner. It all depends on how to program a certain element of the system - what command and from whom it will obey. And this is important - an adult inhabitant of the "intelligent home" can, leaving, program the system to respond only to some commands given by the child, if he suddenly finds himself at home alone. Or just turn off some elements of the system until you return.

Everything ingenious is simple. The principle of operation of the “smart home” is also

You can talk endlessly about the possibilities of an intelligent home. The basis of his work is the principle of a single information field - all the elements of the house that you want to manage must be interconnected. That is, all systems must be connected - power supply, water supply, fire extinguishing, security system and others. In this case, the so-called information bus can serve as a standard type of communication - a special system of wires (depending on the complexity of the system, there may be two or more of them). These wires imperceptibly entangle the whole house and serve to communicate all its elements. Of course, experts will recommend installing "artificial intelligence" in the house at the construction stage or at least before finishing the premises. And they will be right - otherwise the repair (new or old) will go down the drain, since the information bus (in fact, the wire system) must be hidden so as not to spoil the appearance.

The owner can control the “smart home” by being directly in the premises and looking at the monitor of the main computer that controls the entire house. But you can look after the premises remotely, using a mobile phone with Internet access or a PDA. Then the same monitor screen will be reflected on the mobile or PDA. But sometimes the system is programmed to answer the owner's call on a regular phone if a special access code or password is named. The "smart home" system, which has Internet access, will tell the owner about all the processes currently taking place in the house. And if an intrusion is attempted, the programmed "artificial intelligence" itself will call the guards and call the owner.

Saving or wasting?

It would seem that such a system should cost a lot. And this is true in reality - a minimum set, such as control over heating and lighting systems in a medium-sized house, will cost about 15 thousand rubles (on average, the price can reach half a percent of the total cost of building a house). It all depends on the degree of "intelligence" of the premises, that is, first of all, on the quantity (and, of course, quality) of materials - the more controls, the more consumables for the information bus (sensors, wires, etc.) will be required. , on the other hand, an "intelligent home" saves a lot of money for the owner - at least turns off the heating or lighting where and when it is not needed.

Safety comes first

No matter how spectacular a smart home looks, after all, first of all, any owner endows the premises with artificial intelligence in order to ensure the safety of his home. And it would be illogical to equip the house with all sorts of expensive technological innovations and “not teach” yourself how to protect yourself. The security of the "smart home" is ensured different ways, first of all, these are various innovations such as biometric access - the locks open only by recognizing the owner by his individual data - the sound of a voice, a fingerprint, etc. Up to usual tricks- if the owner is going to be absent for a long time, it is enough to program at a certain time to turn on the light / music, open / close the curtains, that is, create the effect of presence in order to psychologically scare off potential robbers.
