1) tulle in two shades (blue and white polka dots);

2) white taffeta;

3) silver and white threads;

A tulle skirt is easy to make. My top skirt is a little shorter than the bottom one. Their length is 16 and 19 cm. It can be longer. The daughter was about 80 cm tall. The volume of the abdomen was approximately 52-56 cm. For the skirt, we cut off 2 pieces of tulle 19 and 21 cm long and twice as wide as the volume of the abdomen to make folds. My tulle is quite hard, so I did not give a large margin for folds. If the fabric is thinner and softer (tulle or chiffon), then you can take pieces 1.5-2 meters wide.

We sew a skirt like this. We make side seams. Then we put one skirt into another, fold the top 3 cm and sew, retreating about 2 cm from the fold, so that you can insert the elastic. We insert an elastic band - the skirt is ready.

Sleeves-lanterns are made according to the same principle. Only the elastic is inserted on both sides. I also double layered the sleeves. Sleeve length approximately 10 cm when finished. The width should be taken based on the volume of the child's arm near the armpits.

I won’t describe how to sew a dress, because I am not a tailor and I know the technology of cutting and sewing only from the school course of labor lessons. But somehow I managed to make it. I sewed the upper part and the skirt separately. I made a pattern for the top of the dress based on my daughter's T-shirt. The skirt was made longer than the tulle skirts.

She decorated the dress with tulle snowflakes: three in front and 6 on the hem. I sewed them on with silver thread using a sewing machine.
