Do not know - Where to get copper wire !? Watch a video!

We use copper wire 1 mm thick. To make rings, you will need a 15 mm round rod on which we tightly wind the wire. Either wood or metal. We cut the rings and solder them. You can use silver or copper phosphorus solder. You need to solder the rings with high quality, otherwise they may break during the bending process.

After you have assembled a chain of wire of the desired length, pull it through a couple of holes in a wooden plank (like a Viking chain). The first hole is about a little less than the thickness of the chain and further to decrease. Be extremely careful. Anneal the chain before pulling to soften the wire.

To make the chain square, with edges (as in the photo), you need to process the chain on four sides with a file (grind and polish).

To make a bracelet from wire of a different size, use wire of different thicknesses and change the diameter of the rings.

After making a wire bracelet, we patinate (age) and polish, like everyone else

It's not difficult for you, but I'm pleased.

Most people think that men shouldn't wear jewelry. However, this article talks about how to do it yourself real male bracelet.

Required materials:

  • Steel knitting wire;
  • Copper wire.

Step 1: Get the Wires

cut off two pieces steel and one piece copper wire length 64 cm. Both types of wire are commercially available at hardware stores. You need to use wire stripper or you can take knife and strip the wires from insulation. If you use a knife, be extremely careful! Or you can use naked wire for grounding.

Step 2: Twist the wires

Fold up
wire in half and wrap him around the hammer. Clamp edges in cartridge screwdriver. Start twisting while holding the hammer. Twist the other two wires in a similar scenario. Then put the three wires together and repeat the operation. Proceed slowly, use a screwdriver with a chuck that twisted with a key, all this is necessary in order to tighten the cartridge quite tightly. cut loops around the hammer and remove the wire from the handle.

Step 3: Hammer Time

Lay the twisted pair on a flat and hard surface and start beat by wire. flip twisted pair cable, my hand from time to time, all this is necessary in order for the bracelet to turn out uniform thickness.

Step 4: Cut the workpiece

cut off twisted pair cable of a certain length, fix the ends of the bracelet so that they did not separate.

Step 5: Sanding and Polishing

You can create various options finishing of the bracelet, depending on which sandpaper you are using. This bracelet in particular has been highly polished.

Step 6: Bend the workpiece

We use a combination pliers with cardboard or rubber (hard round object/ bare hands), bend bracelet before desired shape. Be conscientious when pinning the ends of the bracelet so they stay together. You can touch them up with fine sandpaper after you've finished arching.

Everything is great! Keep in mind that steel rusts if it gets wet or gets salt on it. Recommend for protection bracelet, rub his olive oil painting as often as circumstances permit. Made from copper and aluminum wire. Having improved a little, I decided to show you this homemade product. And this is what came out of it.

I believe that such a craft can be both a gift and your own decoration.

Materials:

  • Copper wire;
  • aluminum wire;
  • Hammer;
  • Vice (in my case, a drill);
  • File;
  • Sandpaper;
  • Pliers or tongs.

Step 1: Wire preparation

Cut two pieces of knitting wire. If the wire is insulated, it will have to be removed. We will need bare wires.

Step 2: Twist the wires

Lay one of the wires together and secure it. The photo shows what needs to be done.

Attention! We try to twist the wires as tightly as you can. When finished, remove the twisted wire from the hammer and cut off the untwisted ends.

Step 3: Flatten the edges of the bracelet

We take a hammer and beat only on one side of the twisted wire. Lay the wire on a hard surface. It is important that the thickness of the wire along the entire length is the same.

Step 4: Finishing the Edges of the Bracelet

Take a file and process the edges of the bracelet.

Step 5: Sandpaper the bracelet

We take sandpaper and polish our bracelet to a shine. In the sun, it should sparkle and shine. With this, we will give the bracelet a more beautiful look.

Step 6: Fold the bracelet around

Using cardboard (or rubber) and tongs, we bend the aluminum and copper bracelet in a circle, repeating the bend of the hand. After completing the bending, you can sand the ends of the bracelet again with sandpaper.

Step 7: Wear it!

Great! Be aware that metals rust and oxidize. This product must be regularly maintained. I protect my bracelet by wiping it. olive oil. Copper will darken over time. Therefore, periodically you will have to go through sandpaper, removing oxides.

You will need

  • - square wire
  • - round wire of smaller diameter
  • - beads
  • - round nose pliers
  • - pliers
  • - transparent glue

Instruction

Using pliers, separate 5 pieces of 23 cm long from a coil of square wire. Measure 2.5 cm from each edge and mark with a felt-tip pen. Grab the end of the wire with round nose pliers and twist a flat spiral to the mark. Repeat on the remaining blanks.

Position the pieces of wire close to each other. Make sure that there are no elements lying on the edge. Measure out a piece of round wire sufficient for 6 turns around the main pieces. Make a wire hook at the end of a thin wire, put it on square blanks and, starting from the base of the spirals, make 6 turns. The beginning and end of the round wire should be on the same plane - this will be the inside of the bracelet.

Measure 2.5 cm and slightly bend one square wire on each side, put a bead on them and connect all the elements again. Cut a piece of round wire and loop around the base as in step #2. Watch the ends of the thin wire - they should be on the same side.

Mark a segment of 8 cm. Bend the twigs of square segments and string 5 beads on each wire. If you want to fix a certain position of the beads, use transparent glue. Connect the elements into one bundle again at the marked point. Repeat the winding in 6 turns with thin wire.

Repeat steps 3, 2 then twist the ends of the wire into spirals as in step 1. Shape the bracelet into a semi-circle and wear it with pride and pleasure.
