Objectives of the action:

Tasks:

Approaching New Year's celebration and long-awaited holidays. What do you need to know so that New Year's fireworks do not ruin the New Year and holidays? How dangerous are firecrackers?
It is not the firecrackers themselves that are dangerous, but their improper handling, which can lead to serious burns. In such cases, you need to call an ambulance, but you can only apply a bottle filled with cold water or snow wrapped in cotton cloth near the burn site (but not on the wound itself!). If your eyes are burned, you need to rinse them with cold water and wait for the ambulance to arrive.
You can only buy pyrotechnics that are certified and in special stores. Rules for handling firecrackers are prescribed in the instructions attached to such products. It must be read before use.
· Firecrackers, fireworks, fireworks, rockets must be launched adults only and only in the open air, not in strong winds and not from the balconies of houses, away from power lines and high-rise buildings.
· You need to set fire to shells at arm's length and never lean over them. Spectators should move 5–10 meters away.
· If a firecracker, salute or other projectile does not go off, you do not need to run to it to find out the reason. You need to be patient and wait a few minutes.
· And, of course, you can’t throw burning firecrackers at people, it’s dangerous!
These are the rules. If you follow them, your holiday will not be overshadowed by the arrival of doctors.
During the holidays you will spend a lot of time outside. What rules need to be remembered:
· Dress properly to avoid freezing or overheating. Clothing should be multi-layered, preferably made from natural fabrics, comfortable, light, warm and waterproof at the same time.
· When you go down a snow or ice slide, pay attention that the descent from it does not go onto the roadway or lead to a reservoir with weak ice.
· On slides and skating rinks there is no need to rush, push, knock down or trip even as a joke. Be attentive to other children, especially the younger ones. After all, falling and hitting the ice is very painful and dangerous.
· All those who like to jump in deep snow should remember that under freshly fallen snow there can be anything: broken bottles, stones, protruding wire...
· And of course, you can’t jump into a snowdrift from a height. It is unknown what lurks under the fluffy snow.

The all-Russian campaign “Children's safety is the care of parents” (preparing children for the WINTER holidays) is carried out by the All-Russian children's public organization “School of Young Pedestrians” from December 19 to December 23, 2016.
1. Purpose of the promotion: prevention of child road traffic injuries and dangerous situations with children on the roads in winter.
Objectives of the action:

provide knowledge about the peculiarities of traffic on snow-covered roads and in icy conditions;

Teachers of educational organizations, parents, and children aged 6-12 years take part in the event.

The all-Russian campaign “Children's safety is the concern of parents” (preparing children for the WINTER holidays) is carried out on the basis of the educational manual “Journey to the Green Light or “School for Young Pedestrians”.
To carry out the campaign, materials (Lesson plan) are posted on the website www.detibdd.ru; also, educational organizations and parents should use the manual “Journey to the Green Light or “School for Young Pedestrians”, which you can easily subscribe to on the website www.detibdd.ru or at all post offices according to the Russian Post catalog (Subscription code 24263). The theme of the Lesson “Winter Rules” is revealed visibly and clearly for children in issue 12 (December).
The promotion is held in two competitive categories:
for teachers: Training lesson “Winter rules”
for children and parents: Competition “Homework for children and parents” Christmas tree decoration».
Contestants can participate in one or both categories.
3.1. Educational lesson “Winter rules”

5. Evaluation criteria
The activity and mass participation in all sections of the action, reflected in photographs, are assessed. The competition “Homework for children and parents “Christmas tree toy”” evaluates the reflection of the joint activities of parents and children on the theme of the action. It will be a big plus to display in photographs the use of the 12th issue of the Guide “Journey to the Green Light” for 2016.
