Take a rope 3-4 m long, and even better - a wide braid or canvas belt, connect the ends so that you get a ring. Participants of the competition are invited to put on this “strap”, like barge haulers, but each of them will try to pull in his direction in order to reach the prize, which is located half a meter from each player.

The winner receives the won prize from the hands of the princess. The loser gets something as a consolation prize. The princess and the prince come into the rights of the hosts of the ball.

It would be unfair to forget about this exciting children's competition. It is especially common in new year holidays in kindergarten.

Two opponents are given very large adult boots. Children drown in them and really look like toe-boys in cannibal boots. There are chairs in front of them at a distance of 3-5 m. At the command of the leader, the children “run” to the chairs, go around them and run back. The one who runs first wins.

This competition can also be held as a team relay. Then each player, having come running, must throw off the “walking boots”, and the next one must put them on. Only then can he set out on his journey.

This competition has long been deservedly popular. He is loved by both adults and children. The facilitator shows a book that has at least 100 pages and that each of the children would like to have. Therefore, the organizers of the holiday should be well prepared for this competition. The book should be hardcover, beautifully designed, well illustrated. The facilitator shows the book, and all participants see in which part of it the bookmark lies. The host says how many pages are in this book. After that, the competition begins.

The facilitator should pay special attention to the fact that they do not shout from their place, but raise their hand and say the page number only after the facilitator's permission. Otherwise, a situation may arise in which several people simultaneously apply for a book. But in fact, in the 1st round, the winner is almost never revealed, especially if the book has 300 or more pages. Then one of the participants or the host himself offers to play the game "More - less". This is where complete silence is needed. Answers are accepted only when the hand is raised. Another condition is that the facilitator must indicate that, speaking of the page number, he means the right page. After a correctly named answer, the facilitator shows the page on which the bookmark lies and hands the book to the winner.

Two or three applicants for this title are called. They get a box each and put it on their head. With a box on your head, you need to walk to the opposite wall or chair (5-6 m), turn around and come to your place. Almost all applicants can easily cope with this task. Mushrooms replace wooden or plastic cubes. Two guys with baskets in their hands compete in the ability to collect blindfolded. Whoever finds the most wins. If these are team captains, then the players can prompt their leaders. This game can be offered even to very small ones, only then there is no need to blindfold.

Young firefighters

Two compete. They sit on chairs at a distance of 2 m with their backs to each other. Jackets or jackets with sleeves turned inside out hang on the backs of chairs. This is "form". Under the chairs is a rope, the ends of which just reach the legs of the contestants. This is a fire hose. At the sign of the leader, the “young firefighters” put their “uniform” in order, put it on, fasten all the buttons, run around the chairs three times, counting loudly: “One, two, three!”, Sit on the chairs and pull the “fireman hose". In whose hands he remained, that is the winner, that is, the "young fireman."

hedgehogs

Thirty clothespins are attached to a rope 1.5 m long. Two guys hold it, lifting it above their heads. Two teams of children run up to the rope one at a time, as in a relay race. They take off one clothespin and rush to the “hedgehogs” sitting on the chairs. Adults can act as "hedgehogs". Children love to play with their parents. Children grab clothespins, run to their parents and attach them to any place of clothing or to their hair. The team wins, whose “hedgehog” “bristles” better, who will have more clothespins-needles. It is very good to hold this relay race in an open area so that the distance to the “hedgehog” is more - about 10 m. Now there are a lot of

multi-colored plastic clothespins. For this game, it is better to buy just such ones: the “hedgehogs” will turn out funny, it will be interesting to take pictures with them.

This game has a continuation: the host invites the children this time to collect clothespins and attach them again to the rope. Only now they can do it not one by one, but all together. Children grab clothespins and hang them on a rope. The team that completes the task first wins. Rare children's holiday does without this fun relay race.

"Mystery" prize

The host gives the guys sitting at the table a voluminous bundle and says that there is a prize inside. But only those who cope with the task hidden under the wrapper can get it.

The person who wishes takes off the wrapper and discovers a riddle written on a piece of paper and glued to the edges of the next wrapper. If the contestant knows the answer, he says it out loud. With the right answer, he can remove the next wrapper, but... under it is not a prize, but the next riddle. The one who guesses the riddle moves forward until his answers are correct. But if he does not know the correct answer, then he reads the riddle aloud.

The game is continued by the one who gives the correct answer. The more layers of wrapping, the more interesting. Layers should be at least ten.

Throw the ball

The guys are divided into two teams. A ribbon is stretched between the teams at the height of the players' faces. On one and the other side lies 5-10 balls. The task of the players is to transfer all their balls to the opponent's side. It is forbidden to throw the balls to the other side under the tape. At the command of the leader “Stop”, the children should freeze and put their hands behind their backs. The host starts counting the balls. Whichever side has fewer balls wins.

The game is very fun, dynamic, causes a storm of emotions that children sometimes cannot cope with.
