How to make a festive wreath for the new year. Classic Christmas tree wreath: step by step instructions with photos. New Year's wreath based on newspapers

Before the arrival of guests, everyone cleans up the house and hangs decorations. And among all the garlands, candles and gifts, of course, the Christmas wreath occupies a special place. It can be hung on a door or wall, put on the center of the dining table.

In stores on the eve of the holidays you can see big choice wreaths of various designs: with ribbons, balls, candles. But to make it really special and unique, and also much cheaper, make it yourself. How to make a Christmas wreath with your own hands? Very simple!

Here you will find step by step 5 master classes for making a Christmas wreath. Choose which one you like best: from balls, spruce, pine, from cones or even from a grid.

First, let's look at how to make a traditional spruce Christmas wreath, which can then be fixed on the front or interior door.

Tools:

  • straw form for a wreath (size optional),
  • balls (should correspond in size to the wreath: with the increase in the base of the wreath, the size of the toys also increases),
  • decorations in the form of twigs with red and zloty beads, a red ribbon on a bow, Pine cones(big and small)
  • spruce branches (thin, so that it is convenient to bend them),
  • a few other branches (for example, pine),
  • scissors, floral wire (preferably green),
  • red and gold decorative flowers (three each).

Lay everything out on the table and get to work.

TIP: You can make this form yourself from dry grass and cling film. Additional wrapped with tape.

Step by step manufacturing

STEP 1: Making the base of the branches

  1. First, make a base out of pine branches. Lay them out in the same direction, for example, counterclock-wise, let the ends of the branches be on the right, and lay the soft tops of the branches to the left side. Attach them to a straw wreath, tying around with floral wire, tie down to the base.
  2. Keep adding more and more branches around the shape.
  3. look, are there any empty spaces, fill in all the gaps with smaller branches.
  4. So far, he looks a little disheveled and sloppy. Wrap a little more wire around to pull off any large branches that are sticking out. The wire should be hidden behind the branches. Now we have a uniform lush wreath - the foundation for further work.

Step 2: Decorate the Wreath

  1. Now add a few other twigs (in the same direction as the pine ones), distributing them evenly across the wreath.
  2. Attach a red bow. You can do without it, then the view will be more festive.
  3. You can add small pine cones if there were none on the branches themselves.
  4. Color distribution should be symmetrical(so that it doesn’t turn out that all the red decorations are in one place, otherwise it will look like a red spot). Divide the wreath conditionally into 4 parts, one of them has a bow, and add a branch with red beads to the other three.

In principle, it already looks good and you can leave it like that, you can finish it.

IDEA: Or hang the wreath first in this form, and after a week add decorations, so the wreath will definitely not get bored during the holidays

Step 3: Adding More Decorations

  1. Attach for contrast. several branches with gold beads.
  2. Attaching the Pine Cones: Wrap florist wire around the cone close to its base, attach to the wreath, locking well in place. Make sure the wire is visible, as less as possible. At this point, you can also stop, or continue to add balls.
  3. Attach three balls, given the same conditional division of the wreath into four parts
  4. Add three red and three gold decorative flowers.

You did it! It turned out a wonderful Christmas wreath, it remains only to attach it to the door to please yourself and your neighbors!

How to make an Advent Wreath

Following the scheme of operation just described, it is also possible to create an Advent Wreath.

By tradition, there are four candles on it: the first was lit 4 weeks before Christmas, each next Sunday they lit one more, so it was clear how the holiday was approaching.

Now a wreath of this type can be made with traditional and decorative purposes. In any case, it will help create a festive atmosphere.

So let's get to work:

  1. We create the base of the wreath from the branches, add small pine cones, as in the previous case.
  2. Fasten with hot glue gun candle holders(preferably with sharp pins at the bottom to insert into a wreath between the branches, but ordinary ones will also do), we insert candles into them.
  3. We decorate the wreath with large cones and decorative flowers (two red and gold each).

ATTENTION! Do not leave such a wreath unattended with candles lit!

Master class number 2: A wreath of balloons

To make such a wreath, you will most likely not even have to go to the store for materials. After all iron clothes hanger and christmas balls almost everyone has. So choose a time to work and go!

You will need:

  • 1 wire hanger, christmas balls red (the amount depends on the size of the balls that you have at home),
  • pliers, wire cutters (optional)
  • bow ribbon,
  • sprigs of pine or Christmas tree (or garland),
  • wire or strong thread (preferably green).

Step by step execution:

Step 1:

  • Using pliers, give the hanger round view. Don't worry if it's not perfectly even, the balls will cover all the bumps.
  • Unscrew the hanger, that is, disconnect it at the attachment point under the hook.

Step 2:

  • Place the balls on the wire. If its end is too sharp or uneven, cut with wire cutters. After you have strung all the balls, bend the hook with pliers to secure the circle.
  • You don’t need to hang balls from above near the hook, as there will be a ribbon and coniferous branches in this place.

Step 3:

  • Attach branches on top of the wreath on both sides of the hook (tie them with wire or thread).
  • Make a ribbon bow and attach it under the hook.
  • All is ready! Even the hook is immediately there, it remains only to hang!

Master class number 3: A wreath of cones

A Christmas wreath made of cones is very simple to make, but its main advantage is that it is stored for a long time and does not crumble, unlike a spruce wreath. It can be sent to storage until the next New Year.

Materials:

  • Dry cones from 30 or more pieces, depending on the diameter of the wreath
  • Base for a wreath (if not ready as in the photo, cut out a torus from thick cardboard)
  • Glue gun.
  • Decor is up to you.

Work order:

Stage 1: Laying the first round

  1. Using a glue gun, we attach the cones to the inside of the Thor or circle.
  2. Best inside attach smaller cones.
  3. The distance between the cones is 1-2 cm. They should not be fixed closer. Maybe even 3-4 cm.

Stage 2:

We do the same, but outside circle of larger cones. Distances between them - 3-4 cm. They should lie freely - do not overlap each other.

Stage 3:

  • And now fill in the middle row- he's like should be on top internal and external row. You can attach the cones not vertically upwards, but slightly directing them in different directions, filling the voids.
  • We make decor with sprigs of berries or live spruce.

TIP: If you add a garland on top, it will be even more effective!

Master class number 4: From pine branches

“Simple and tasteful” is the most appropriate phrase for this method of manufacture. Christmas greens and minimal decorations. but nevertheless, when you look at the door with such a wreath, it immediately becomes clear that a truly festive atmosphere reigns here!

Materials:

  • thick wire wreath mold,
  • greens (real or artificial pine branches, other conifers are also suitable),
  • cones, wire (for tying branches),
  • glue gun,
  • little bells,
  • bow ribbon.

ATTENTION! When choosing the length of the wire form, keep in mind that after attaching the branches, the wreath will increase several times in size.

Manufacturing steps:

  1. Take some coniferous branches and fasten them to the mold with wire. First, fix the ends of the branches, then wrap them around the wire several times, wrap them with wire. Thus wrap the entire base.
  2. Make another ball of branches over the previous one, in the same way. You should get a uniform coniferous wreath.
  3. Attach some cones.
  4. Add 3-4 bells gold or silver to create a festive mood. Attach with a glue gun.
  5. Make a ribbon bow and attach it to the wreath.

Every time you open the door, you will hear the quiet ringing of bells and understand that the holiday is in the air around!

Master class number 5: Decorative mesh wreath

With such a wreath you will definitely surprise all the neighbors! This colored hemisphere will not leave anyone indifferent, just looking at it will bring a smile and a sweet anticipation of the holiday!

Materials:

  • round base for a wire wreath,
  • decorative mesh in rolls about 50 cm wide (several colors that can be combined with each other),
  • fluffy decorative wire.

TIP: If you do not have such a base for a wreath, then you can cut it out of thick cardboard with a torus thickness of -10-15 cm. Then the mesh can be fastened with a needle and thread or a glue gun.

Manufacturing steps:

Step 1:

  1. cut off approx 25-30cm mesh and roll it into a roll. Squeeze in the center with your fingers. To make it more convenient, you can take someone as an assistant to hold the bundles.
  2. You will need many of these rolls, they don't have to be exactly the same length.

Step 2:

  1. group rolls together 4, connecting the centers, and tying them in this place with fluffy wire. Leave the ends of the wire for attaching to the base.
  2. Tie each such part to the base of the wreath.(the remaining ends of the wire). They should be close to each other, leaving no free space.
  3. Continue until the entire space is filled.

Ready! It turned out very colorful and festive! If desired, you can hang a toy on the wreath so that it is in the center. But look, do not overdo it so that it does not turn out “too much”, because everywhere you need to know when to stop.

Designer wreaths 2019

In 2019, vertical wreaths come into fashion, which are mounted not on the wall, but on the ceiling, like a suspension. The principle of assembling a wreath is the same as described above. BUT

  • You can place candles on top of them.
  • Add hanging elements

Fantasy has no limit. The main thing is to have somewhere to hang it on the ceiling! If your chandelier is not very good, then you can just place it under it.

It is unlikely that anyone will remember now what a Christmas wreath of spruce branches hung on the front door means, especially since in Russia the traditions and attributes of Christmas were replaced by New Year's with Soviet overtones almost 100 years ago.

DIY Christmas wreaths

Originally, the Christmas wreath was nothing more than a calendar! And on the eve of Christmas, the Hamburg theologian Johann Hinrich Wiecher came up with the idea to light a small red candle on a spruce wreath, symbolizing the weekday, and a large white one, meaning Sunday, every morning. The fact is that his little children constantly asked their father when Christmas would come. That is why he decided to put such an unusual calendar on the table, which later became one of the symbols of the holiday, moving to the front door to meet guests.

But despite the fact that this decoration is currently considered Western, gradually Russian needlewomen are mastering its manufacture, and not only in the usual technique and from familiar materials, but also from everything that only the soul desires.

Christmas wreath of branches

A Christmas wreath made from coniferous branches is a traditional variation of this holiday decoration.

If you have doubts about which branches it is best and most correct to make a Christmas wreath, then there really are no strict regulations here, simply because the tradition of making a wreath has undergone significant changes several times during its existence.

From cardboard we cut out a ring of the size that our future wreath will be. Next, you need to make the frame voluminous, for this you need thick paper. Squeezing and twisting the paper, we tie it with twine or wire to a cardboard ring. The design should turn out to be quite dense and even, so you should additionally walk the rope along its entire diameter, tightening and compacting the paper.

  • Then attach the branches to the frame.

The spruce branch must be disassembled into shorter ones and then attached to each of them with wire, rope or glue of your choice to the frame. The branches should be fixed in the same direction, as well as immediately fill in the white places so that the design looks more natural and beautiful.

  • In conclusion, you need to decorate the wreath.

For decorating a Christmas wreath, you can choose from:

  • cones;
  • Christmas balls;
  • walnut shells;
  • dried rowan berries;
  • satin ribbons etc.

You can decorate a wreath with anything. The main thing is to decide in advance on the color scheme (usually spruce branches are decorated in red colors), and not overdo it, leaving the opportunity to admire the needles that you so diligently attached to the frame. Also, do not forget that all parts must be glued literally tightly for safety reasons, especially if there are small children in the house.

The option of making a Christmas wreath on a cardboard ring is not the only one possible. Perhaps for someone it will seem more acceptable and easy way make a wreath on a wire frame.

For such a wreath you will need:

  • wire, for example, aluminum;
  • branches of a coniferous plant;
  • rope or thin wire;
  • glue gun;
  • elements for decoration.

The procedure for making a wreath based on wire:

  • We twist the wire into a ring of the desired diameter. Depending on the softness of the wire, we wrap it one or more times for the hardness of the structure.
  • We begin to fasten spruce branches with a thin wire or rope to a thick wire frame. The branches are attached in one direction, for example, clockwise, and overlap. The more branches there are, the richer and more beautiful the wreath itself will be.
  • We decorate the resulting wreath with any decorations of your choice, not forgetting to attach them with a glue gun for reliability.

Only cardboard or only wire frames can be not quite strong or too flexible, so you can use an option that combines the advantages of each of them to make a frame for a Christmas wreath.

Christmas wreaths from improvised materials

Losing its original meaning over time, the Christmas wreath acquires more and more new performance, which sometimes seems to have nothing to do with either New Year or Christmas.

Only the shape of the circle remains unchanged, without which the wreath would cease to be one.

In addition to the calendar designation of the expectation of the birth of Christ, the wreath acquired new meanings, which stemmed from its round shape. A wreath lying on a table with four candles was associated with the globe and the indicated cardinal points. In addition, the circle is a symbol of the wheel or eternal life, which will give the Resurrection of Christ.

One way or another, there are many options for the execution of this Christmas decoration, each of which is easy to repeat yourself and then decorate your home for the holiday.

From tinsel

The tinsel Christmas wreath most of all resembles a wreath of spruce twigs, which is why it is in second place in terms of preferences in making this holiday idea.

To make such a wreath, you will need to make a frame according to one of the options described above, namely on the basis of a cardboard or wire ring. Whatever frame you choose, it will need to be reinforced with newspapers in order for the wreath to be voluminous, to create the illusion of splendor of the decoration.

Then the base must be literally wrapped with tinsel, avoiding gaps, and in order for the rain to hold well, fix its ends on the frame of the wreath with liquid nails (glue gun). After the base is decorated with tinsel, you can attach any decorations you like to your taste. Usually they use red satin ribbons and balls on a green background.

From cones

To make a wreath of cones you will need:

  • cardboard and newsprint for the frame;
  • cones of any size;
  • glue gun;
  • cans of paint on request.

To make a Christmas wreath from cones at home, you need to cut a cardboard ring, the diameter of which corresponds to the future wreath. Twisting, attach newspaper sheets to a cardboard ring, creating volume. And then you need to glue the cones one by one to the resulting base so that there are no gaps left. Small round cones should be fastened close to each other, oblong cones are best glued with an overlap, just like spruce branches. If desired, the finished wreath or each cone individually can be painted over with gold, white or silver paint from a spray can before gluing. Of course, a cone-based Christmas wreath can also be used with other elements, such as ribbons or dried rowan berries.

From sweets

A Christmas candy wreath in execution is practically no different from a wreath of cones. The main task in its manufacture is to stock up on a sufficient amount of your favorite sweets and stick them to the frame so that they are easy to unfold and eat. That is why, in this case, candies in foil and those in which a candy wrapper is tied on top of a pyramid candy are best suited.

From paper

A paper Christmas wreath can be made in several ways:

  • String mugs on a wire frame, for example, from corrugated. The more parts are strung and the lighter and tracery paper, from which they are made, the wreath looks more airy and tender.
  • Glue paper elements to the frame, like cones or candies before. Such a wreath is remarkable in that paper figures can depict anything, forming together, for example, a biblical story.
  • Paste over a purchased foam frame with one layer, say, newspapers and attach a few paper flowers or other details. Such a wreath looks very conceptual and will perfectly complement designer interior urban apartment of a modern young man.

From Christmas balls

From Christmas balls Making a Christmas wreath is perhaps the easiest thing to do. For this you will need:

  • wire and a tool for bending it (for example, pliers);
  • glue gun;
  • a large number of Christmas balls of different sizes.

How to make a balloon wreath:

  • For security purposes and for the strength of the structure, it is worth gluing Christmas balls at the docking point with a metal suspension. So the ball will be guaranteed to be attached to the wire, it will not fall and will not break at the most inopportune moment.
  • Then you need to round the wire, but do not rush to link it into a ring.
  • We begin to string balls on a wire, like beads on a thread, with the only difference being that there should be a lot of balls and they should all “look” in different directions, making the wreath “magnificent”. When all the balls are strung, we make a hitch from the ends of the wire, similar to a loop in a chain. You can cover it with a satin ribbon bow. The wreath is ready!

Rustic

If you plan to hang a Christmas wreath in a country style interior, then you can use this option.

For this design, you can use natural materials: burlap, cones, jute ropes.

The basis of such a wreath can be made from a cardboard circle or from wire twisted along a certain diameter.

If you are working with cardboard, then just glue small pieces of burlap on it, folded, as in the photo. You can make the decor and a solid canvas, making drapery from burlap and gluing it in the right places.

If your wreath is made of wire, then you can use a padding polyester (or ordinary newspapers) to wind and add volume, over which you can wind strips of burlap or other natural matter in a spiral.

As a decor for such a country wreath, painted white acrylic paint cones, jute bows and figurines of Christmas trees and deer cut out of colored cardboard.

This Christmas wreath will be a great addition to a rustic-style room.

Christmas wreath in eco style

The ecological design of the interior during the New Year holidays will be emphasized by a wreath made of vines.

This decoration can be done in just a matter of minutes. We will need:

  • pre-harvested vine;
  • Christmas tree branches;
  • cones;
  • acorns;
  • berries, small apples;
  • ribbons made of natural fabric.

Twist several rods of the vine, giving them the shape of a circle. You can strengthen the structure if you wrap the rods with a strong thread or an additional thin branch of the vine.

Then use the glue gun to attach the decorative elements. These can be ordinary pine or spruce cones, pine needles, acorns, rose hips, etc.

Of course, you need to take care of creating such a wreath in advance, back in the fall, having prepared everything you need.

Beautiful bows from natural materials perfectly complement the composition.

Using the example of several master classes, it is easy to see that making a Christmas wreath at home is not so difficult. In order to enjoy your wreath for more than a year, you need:

  • Pay great attention to the base of the wreath. A strong frame that does not lose shape when dropped or pressed is half the battle.
  • Stock up on enough material for decoration. Whatever you choose - twigs, cones or sweets - it is better if there are a lot of them than not enough. It is important to endure the concept to the end, leaving no voids on the wreath.
  • Do not make a dump out of a wreath. If you are not confident in your ability to beautifully combine a large number of details, it is better to use only three elements as a basis, for example, twigs, ribbons and balls or twigs, cones and beads.

Following these tips and using master classes, you will certainly be able to please yourself and your loved ones with beautiful and high-quality, which will decorate your door not only this year.

He took an old wheel and decorated it with pine needles, placing nineteen red and nine white candles on it.

The guys lit candles and thus, the expectation of the holiday was not so tiring. Despite the fact that the New Year's wreath of needles is considered a typical paraphernalia catholic christmas, it is used quite often.

DIY wreath photo

Christmas wreaths were first hung on the door by Johann Wiehern, he was a Lutheran theologian who taught children about the meaning church holidays and about religion in general. The man was engaged in education, more often he took children from poor, needy families, because they often ran homeless through the streets. Every year in Lent, they looked forward to Christmas miracles and constantly asked how long to wait before the holiday.

Therefore, since 1839, Wichern made the first wreath from an ordinary old wheel, decorating it with 19 red and small, also 4 white, but large candles. And every morning, passing by his house, the children saw a new candle burning. The days were marked in red, and the white ones were lit only on Sundays. Here is such a New Year's wreath and the theologian made it with his own hands to give hope to people and together count the days until the blessed holiday.

Indeed, Western countries have long adhered to traditions. For them, this is a sign of goodness, light and the approaching holiday. Some make their own Christmas wreaths, others buy ready-made ones.

By the way, it is not at all necessary to make a wreath and then hang it on the front door. You can decorate them with a wall or a place above the window, under the clock - anyone will do. The meaning of the symbol will not change. A wreath for the New Year, especially a small one, will not take up much space.

How to decorate a wreath

A New Year's wreath and on the door with your own hands can be made from any materials. From paper, or from cardboard, maybe even from fabric or traditional, from branches. This is the basis.

You can supplement it with the following materials:

Remember that the main colors of Christmas are dark green and bright red, as well as gold and plain white. Adhering to the desired range, you can make a real traditional wreath.
real berries: viburnum or mountain ash, also juniper or wild rose, also holly berries.
nuts of any variety, or chopped citrus fruits, orange peel.
star anise or cinnamon sticks.
made from cones various decorations then dyed in silver or gold.
sweets are candy or cookies.
also small toys from the Christmas tree are balls, different stars or snowflakes, snowmen or angels, birds, beads.
ribbons with bows - both plain and checkered or striped.
you can insert candles if the wreath is located horizontally.
luminous garlands, "rains".

Yes, Christmas decoration on the door or on the wall can be supplemented with edible elements, which can then be carefully pulled out and eaten. Don't worry if you've never made a wreath before. A master class with step-by-step explanations will help explain the process of making crafts.

DIY tinsel wreath with an angel

Materials and tools:

Wide New Year's rain;
- a small wicker basket;
- glue gun;
- ready angel;
- golden beads and decorative boxes for decoration.

Most do-it-yourself master classes for creating New Year's wreaths offer to make a wire base, but we decided to use a basket for this purpose, because for us, as noted above, not only the decorative effect is important, but also the possibility of further use.
Using a gun, apply glue to the bottom edge of the basket, and glue the rain. We smoothly move to the upper side, also apply glue, and lightly press the rain.

We apply a little glue to the bottom of the basket, put a little more rain there and fix it.

At the next stage of creating a New Year's tinsel wreath, it is shown how you can put decorative beads on the rain, tying them in a knot in front, but here you can unleash your creativity and do as your own fantasy dictates. After the beads are laid out, we apply glue to the rain at several points and securely fix our decoration.

We also apply glue to the foot of our angel and press it in the basket to fix it well.

We decorate a festive tinsel wreath with decorative gifts glued with glue.

Here you can create such a New Year's wreath of tinsel with an angel with your own hands! Note that it is no worse than the store!

Using a basket for the base is very advantageous from a practical point of view. Even after the holidays, it will be possible to store the necessary items in it, or New Year's souvenirs that will remind you of the wonderful days spent.

To create such a basket, the decor can be anything - these are balls, and bells, and cones, instead of an angel, you can put a symbol of the next year or a wide candle. Any base can also be used. In general, at your discretion and imagination.

Christmas wreath

All children, as well as all adults, love and look forward to the New Year. But, probably, most of all in this holiday I like the pre-New Year atmosphere itself. When they make decorations with the children for the Christmas tree, when they buy or make souvenirs with their own hands, among which you can make a Christmas tree from felt or a Christmas tree toy. Everything brings up the time when the New Year comes! When Santa Claus comes with gifts, when the lights are lit on the Christmas tree, when we set the table and open a bottle of champagne to the chimes. Today we propose to make another attribute of the New Year and Christmas - a Christmas wreath with your own hands, which you can easily decorate your door at the entrance, thereby inviting guests home. Why not stop by when the holiday is waiting in the house!

All we need is:

Cardboard sheet (any size),
- threads (cord, braid) of green color,
- scarlet satin ribbon,
- golden ribbon
- golden braid (for bows),
- thread, needle, scissors.

Deciding to make a Christmas wreath with your own hands in three colors: the main green, the decoration is scarlet and gold. If you want, you can add anything else you want.
First, let's make the base for the wreath. To do this, on a sheet of cardboard using, for example, a saucer, draw a circle.

Cut out the middle (circling a smaller circle in diameter). Let's make a hole in the place where the hanging ribbon is threaded. Next, we take the prepared threads (cord or braid) of green color. I found knitting threads in my house, rummage through your bins, maybe you will find something suitable. And now we begin the process of winding threads around the ring. History of the Christmas wreath

The tradition of decorating front doors or a festive table with a Christmas wreath is slowly taking root in countries that historically profess Orthodoxy. However, the meaning of this symbol should be correctly understood.
Many consider a wreath, like an elegant Christmas tree, an indispensable attribute of the New Year. Although this is not entirely true. The tradition of decorating a house with a circle of fir branches with candles came to us from Western countries, where they celebrate Christmas on a large scale, which falls on December 25th.
The first Christmas wreath for his little pupils was made by the Lutheran theologian from Hamburg, Johann Wiehern. The children were so looking forward to the holiday that they kept asking if it was already Christmas. It was then that the symbol was born, denoting Advent (the period of fasting, waiting and preparing for the Nativity of Christ) - the Christmas wreath.

Wikhern's wreath was a circle of spruce branches fixed on a wooden wheel, and 24 small and 4 large candles inserted into them. Every day, the children lit one candle (large candles were lit on Sundays) and thus could calculate how many days were left before the holiday.
The idea of decorating the house with a Christmas wreath was so much to the taste of Western Christians that it quickly spread and took root.
Christmas has gone from religious to beautiful today. family celebration, the rules for which are no longer so strict.
A Christmas wreath can be without candles, decorated with Christmas toys, ribbons, bells, fir cones, beads. And you can place it not only on a horizontal surface, but also on the front door or walls.
Someone will say that the Christmas wreath is a tradition alien to Orthodoxy, however, in Orthodox churches, icons for the holiday are decorated with elegant spruce compositions. All religions and earthly cultures are intertwined, flowing from one to another.
So why not start a tradition of making a beautiful Christmas wreath for the holiday in your family? This is what we will do today!

Preparation of materials

The uniqueness of making a Christmas wreath with your own hands lies in the fact that the modern design of premises for the holidays consists in the selection of a specific color scheme, so you can choose elements that will harmoniously combine with your wishes.
I chose the color scheme red with gold. Decorative elements - red bows, beads, ribbon, bells, golden cones, deer figurine, small bell, balls, pendant, artificial green spruce twigs.

The choice of decorative elements is now very diverse, both in colors and in figurines. You can use worn-out souvenirs, parts of Christmas tree decorations.

Progress

From the usual cardboard box You need to cut out the circle with a clerical knife. The diameter of the outer circle of our wreath is 35 cm. Of course, you can choose the size according to your wishes, make it bigger or smaller.

It turned out a cardboard rim - the basis for a wreath.
Next, you need to wrap this bezel with tinsel of the required color. On the basis of this size, it took 4 ribbons of tinsel, 1 meter long. We fix the ends of the tinsel with a stapler.

Next, wrap a decorative red ribbon around the rim. You can take satin, but in my work I use gift wrapping. We also fix the tip with a stapler.

We connect the two ends of the tape with transparent tape.

In the gaps between the ribbon we place a gold-colored Christmas tree pendant, which is a snowflake connected to each other. We put the tips on hot glue.

Next, glue the decorative elements with a glue gun - first, artificial Christmas tree branches.

Coming from right side place a red bow, golden leaves, a small golden gift and cones. Here at this stage you can show your imagination, creativity and creative approach.

On the left side are golden branches.

We glue the gold-colored reindeer, which has become a symbol of the New Year, and small bells.

And in the center of the wreath we fix two red bells with a stapler - Christmas decorations. Can place Christmas star, angel, snowflakes.

Our Christmas wreath is ready!
